Review Coffee Culture Five Cross Roads - Hamilton

We loved the ambience and the layout of Coffee Culture. Coffee Culture is located in one of the busiest roundabouts in Boundary Road. There is side parking for 60 minutes. We got our order in no time. We were served well. Coffee Culture has a lot of selection. The price looks reasonable. Coffee culture can care for large groups . Once 12 of us went to coffee culture.

A great place for breakfast! I ate French toast and it was delicious. Nice and fluffy with delicious berries and yogurt. Atmosphere is nice as well. Nice dining and there’s always seats available. Overall a great experience and good restaurant.

This is my first time come into Hamilton, suddenly i catch this coffee shop at the corner and boy oh boy... Sure I found a good place today 🙏 I find this place cozy and had a good vibes, especially when you just wanted some good coffee to lighten up your day. This place also a great place to meet up with your friends or as a middle point before you go somewhere else

Absolutely gorgeous cafe with lovely ambience and staff. They open to 9pm on weekdays making it my go-to study spot. Yummy coffee and free wifi too 🥰

Awesome place for a coffee meet up. Food is so good. The Thai chicken pie thing (forgot the name) was to die for. And the coffee was silky in texture and very gentle taste. Staff are keepers, asked for a reccomendation and wasn't disappointed they know there stuff

A tad overpriced for what it is, a small mocha costing 6.90. The staff are always phenomenal, and the coffee and food are always delicious. One thing I will note is that the wifi is often inconsistent. As someone who goes here in the evening to study, it is a little frustrating having to sign back into the network every 20 minutes, and sometimes it shuts me out altogether.

A local favourite, Coffee Culture offers a great selection of cabinet foods (including GF/DF options) as well as hot soup and bagels. Staff are friendly and they have a variety of seating options both inside and outside. Parking is also available.

What a great little cafe!! We knew that our lunch would be later and they would perhaps add fresh food to the cabinet...which they did as we arrived. They were patient as my elderly parents took a while to decide what they wanted and food came fast and hot and delicious 😋 coffee, smoothie and juices were perfect too. Got a cheery 'have a great day' as we left :)

UPDATE: Chic and amazing interior design, amazing service and Outstanding Coffee. My local go to for a good cup of life and friendly service. My bf is in love with their choc frappe and now their Chocolate Chai Latte. I tried the Cubano which was delightfully sweet. I'm embarrassed to say, that in my 17yrs as a Barista, I had no clue as to what a Cubano or Con Panna were. The Barista was very well informed and happy to help. I am obsessed with this cafe and it's awesome staff.

3.5/5 Taste<br/>4/5 Display <br/>3/5 Quantity <br/>4.5/5 Customer Service <br/><br/>Late hour opening Cafe in Hamilton<br/><br/>Great place. Good long hours with good atmosphere. Nice arrangement of seatings but not enough parking.<br/><br/>Tried their pressed juice, smoothie and slices raw food slices. Smoothie was just average, nothing stood out, juice didnt taste like pressed juice, more like just bottled juice. Slices were pretty average too, I liked the passion fruit one. <br/><br/>However, all these average food and drinks will be good food and drinks if you visit this place after few drinks at the bar!! Because this place opens till late night!! <br/><br/>It’s rare to find late night opening cafes in Hamilton, and comparing this cafe with late noght opening cafes in Auckland this place is so much better than most Auckland Cafes. <br/><br/>I’m keen to try this place more often as it’s probably one of the only option.

Growing up in the Tron, I’ll never say that Hamilton was a place that served world-class coffee. This sentiment of mine has been challenged recently due to the growing ‘Coffee Culture’ in Hamilton. Coffee Culture had been listed on a few articles and blogs already as one of those establishments that have been at the forefront of that change.<br/><br/>Located relatively close to my family home, I decided to try Coffee Culture. Looking at the café from afar it feels more like a restaurant than a café. Its layered brick structure and squared windows giving the impression of a Lone Star Steakhouse. Coming inside the building, I liked how much wood there was inside, giving a more familiar and relaxing feel. There’s definitely character here, one side of the café had cubicle type sofas and the other side large tables for bigger groups. <br/><br/>Coming in on a Saturday it was fairly busy but the three ladies working seemed to have things under control and they looked in sync with each other. I ordered myself an Irish Mint Latte and Raspberry Hazelnut Dacquoise. It’s awesome that they provide a variety of flavors for their coffees, my Irish Mint Lattee was superb as there was just enough sweetness with a lasting mint flavor. I ordered the cake based on another reviewer and I concur with the statement made, the raspberry combined fantastically with the white chocolate and hazelnut. The texture of cream which was soft and smooth worked well with the nuts. I did wonder though if the bottom was a little bit underbaked because the cake slice was a little lope sided which signaled to me like the base wasn’t strong enough. <br/><br/>Overall, the versatility of this café is great because you can come here and have a cuppa while reading a book/newspaper or you can come in as a group. There is a colorful selection of flavors for your coffee for those wanting to be a bit more adventurous with their taste buds.<br/><br/>A few things to note, Coffee Culture is located right next to the Claudelands main roundabout which can get a little noisy, it can also mean that finding a park could be difficult. <br/><br/>Showstopper: Different variety of coffee such as the Irish Mint Latte.<br/><br/>Overall Grade: A-

I only only been here for a coffee, it was rich and creamy! Their cafe looks so welcoming. Will hopefully be back soon to try the food! I luckily got a park however I can imagine that it'll be difficult to when they're busy!

Been to this neck of the woods but never gave this place a try. I knew it won't disappointment me. The cakes and drinks were carefully crafted. A bit too sweet though, but not complaining at all. This area has a lot of other interesting coffee shops and this one I will frequent more often.

The food and drinks here are quite average and there's no cooked food menu. Will come here again for the raspberry hazelnut dacquoise - it's my fav cake.

The thing that puts me off this place is the fact that it is really hard to get easy parking. If they had more parking then I would go here more often. I've only stopped in to get a cofffee a couple times before and the coffee was fine. It has a nice interior and friendly staff. I would prefer if they did not limit the WiFi though.

Visited on the 03/12/2016  we are sorry we had to rate this experience so low, and reasons being Long black weak and not very hot<br/>Had to ask for extra hot water<br/>They had to be remindered that food had been ordered, so came after we had nearly finished our coffee<br/>Asked if they would slightly warm our cake, far too hot<br/>Probably won't visit again and couldn't recommend this lounge to others

We go here at least twice a week. But don't be fooled by how often we go there. It's our local and They do good chai and ok coffee if the right person is on the machine. But the service is well below average 90% of the time the first prob 20 times we went they messed up our orders even though they are txt in so written down and everything. And food is overpriced ed standard cafe cabinet stuff but do have do say they do dairy free muffins and a few raw options which is nice.

Cozy place to be on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Had a taste of their delectable carrot cake and mochaccino. Was satisfied with how the carrot cake seems to melt on your mouth on every bite. The taste was unusually good compared to a regular carrot cake. A bit disappointed with their mocha. It's not the best in town. Ambiance wise, it's a good place to be with friends for a quick catch up.

Came here to catch up over some drinks and cake! Love the decor!! Staff were lovely, spacious cafe with yummy drinks! Ended up swapping drinks with my sister as I preferred an iced choc to the iced coffee I ordered! I personally don't like coffee so should've ordered the iced choc in the first place! Didn't trial the food, though the baking we had was tasty!

Well before I get in the door I will say the parking is rubbish especially for a suburban cafe. Nicely appointed ambience despite having a bit of that chain outlet type of feeling. Nice mix of table sizes. Friendly staff but everything was fairly slow in regards service. A perfectly adequate flat white but not up there with the best in town despite the "name" of the establishment. Would go back but wouldn't go out of my way to do it.

Nice Cafe'<br/>Great atmosphere and surroundings and the air conditioner is terrific on a hot day.<br/>The food is tasteful and all cabinet no chef and cooking a la carte.<br/>It would be nice to get fresh cooked eggs and bacon for brekkie but they do have alternatives.<br/>The drinks are of a great variety and there is something there both hot and cold for everyone.<br/>They roast their own coffe onsite. Barrista's are great and i havent got a dud coffee there yet.<br/>The service is very friendly and everyone gets a "Goodbye have a nice day when leaving"<br/>If you are looking for a nice coffee spot out of the city then this is the spot.

Took my mum in law here last week. Great open light n bright cafe, love the lights over the bars. Nice relaxing space with good options for seating and kids area. Ordered smoked salmon begal, choc wiskey cake n cheese cake. Hubby gave the choc wiskey cake a good go but even he couldnt finish it. I really enjoyed my begal it was fresh, soft n just plain yummy. Good coffee, flavour, foam texture etc all good. We will be back.

Breakfast for two on Queens birthday 4/6/2018. Purpose built cafe and they did it well.  Nice premises.Staff pretty good, no complaints.I had the muesli - don't bother.  Pretty tasteless and likely out of a packet.I also had a fresh sweet muffin and a decaf flat white.  Both very good.Partner had something from the cabinet and thought it was good.Worth a look, but for breakfasts you only get the bagel thing, not eggs on toast and the usual NZ breakys.<br/>Below is how I rated this cafe some time back.  Gave it 4 stars.Brand spanking new cafe.  Well thought out and designed premises.Staff were friendly and obliging.Food was very good.Worth a look.
