This place is surely unique! We ordered the shrimp fry and the green Thai curry as the main. It was totally delicious. The place is also very clean. The customer service is also great and our waiter was nothing but exceptional. Really loved this place and I look forward to my next visit.

Shame we cant dine in, it looks so nice inside. The food is delicious and always prepared with our special requests(removing certain ingredients) and always friendliness in mind, they always make sure our food is perfect for us.

My wife and I eat here a couple times a month and love it. I have a gluten issue and they are always more than accomodating. Some of our favourites are the basil fried rice or noodles, yellow curry, General Tao Chicken and the spring rolls. Always quick and friendly service when we dine in or take out. I would highly recommend this place!

We went for dinner last night to Thai Orchid after reading so many good reviews, and we agree totally. Our experience was wonderful. A small place, very nice atmosphere. Great staff, and delicious food.

This is one of my favorite Stoney Creek restaurants. Unfortunately they haven't reopened their dining room since covid but they do have take out. Their pad Thai is exceptionally great, chicken or vegetarian. The mango rice for dessert is sweet and perfect. If you like Thai food this is the place for you.

Thai Orchid has always been one of my places to eat. Unfortunately, since Covid they have chosen not to have instore dining, which was part of the appeal. The ambiance was great and the service and food were perfect.
The food is still great but since you can only do take-out now, by the time you get it home it can get soggy, which takes away from the enjoyment experience.
Still a great place and people obviously love it because it is always super busy. Highly recommend if you like Thai food.

I have ordered food from these guys many times during this nightmare of a pandemic, although never actually eaten in the restaurant. The food is consistently good if a little on the pricey side, although they do have lunch specials which are a bit more affordable. The Pad Thai is always excellent but not always the same, which is a little weird - a bit risky but has never failed to impress. My vegetarian daughter always gets the large Tom Yum Noodle Soup and she loves it.

Thai Orchid is one of my favourite restaurants anywhere. Their lunch specials are a great deal with the soup and spring rolls. Definitely worth it. I sued to work close by and I would go for lunch all the time. Now I have to make the drive...but it's still totally worth it.
I don't think I have had anything on the menu I haven't liked!

Seriously the best Thai in Hamilton area. The staff are always so friendly, and the restaurant is so nicely decorated. I’ve tried so many dishes over the years it’s hard to pick a favourite! The curries and pad Thai are top picks :)

Ordered a mix of curries with a few friends during exam period- all medium spicy. Thai green was the star of the show but it was waaaaaay more spicy than all the other ones ???? <br/>I could not. Too spicy. Too painful.<br/>I did not need more pain in my life<br/>Heck, does anyone?

The restaurant environment is very warm while the workers are inviting and polite. They cook fresh and don’t leave you waiting a long time. I have tried the green curry which is my fav; the pad Thai fell a bit flat for me.

A little slow on service but the restaurant was (by the time we left) full. Entree average (Angel chicken and spare ribs) with not as much flavour as we would have liked. Mains made up for it .. green curry and pad Thai was enjoyable but not quite enough for five stars. Friendly staff.

ordered some takeway pad thai recently. Very dissapointed in the meal and totally lack of flavour. My worst pad thai i have had in nz. Also ordered the spring rolls which were very average.

Our #1 for Thai food in Hamilton. Best cashew chicken around! Great, fast service. Funky decor that is a bit weird...plants hanging from the ceiling? But can't fault the food, service, and student discount! Awesome. We will keep coming back again and again and you all should too. You won't be disappointed. Cheers!

love the food and service at Thai Orchid. It is the best place to dine-in or take away. Always clean and fast, easy to get a car park and its only 5 mins walk to town. Oh and BYO is the cheapest in town!

I have been eating Thai Orchid on Grey Street for over a year now and is always my first choice when dining out. Their house duck dish is to die for and I always find it hard to choose from their starters as they are all equally great. Always great service and food is served very quickly. Would highly recommend to others.

Have eaten here often as I have found the food and service to be outstanding always easy to get a car park witch is a bonus in the cold winter months. the cashew nut chicken is A must along with many other dishes, I honestly can not say what would be my favorite as each dish has its own flavor and I have enjoyed them all.

Last time i went here, the "mixed vegetables" in my curry was exactly that - frozen mixed vegetables! Not still frozen of course, but they were small squares of carrots and peas & corn. A bit of a change from the usual celery/brocolli/cauliflower I'm used to in my Thai curries! Even though it's my local for thai food, I haven't been back, I choose to venture across town.

This is my favourite Thai restaurant in Hamilton. Their green curry is just the right balance of sweet and spicy. The duck curry I had last time was full of tender duck meat. A rarity if you order this dish in Thailand. I also recommend their Tom Yum soup. I find their food rivals much I've had in Thailand when I lived there.
