We had the pleasure of coming to 2 for one pizza night. Amazing pizzas (our teenager scoffed 2 himself), great beer and super service from Shonny. She’s a credit to you guys. Will definitely be back with the family!

Possibly the best place I've been to in a long time. We went with a sports team, 15 people. Really impressed with the service, they even suggested we do jugs of soft drink which would give us more for less money (sports team were under 18). Places don't always do this in favour of profit. The food orders were really varied and yet they came out all at the same time. I had the Scotch Fillet which was perfectly cooked. 100% will be visiting again.

I went out for dinner with my extended family tonight, the food was excellent and our server CHLOE was amazing, just a beautiful, polite, and helpful person who assisted us in all times of need. the place was gorgeous. I would have liked to see for vegetarian/vegan options on the menu but what I did eat was very very yummy 😁

We had a lovely dinner and was served by Georgia, she was a super hospitable and friendly! Food was pretty tasty although would have been nicer with some more sesame seeds or shallots or something :) thanks was really good service from the wait staff!

I really like this place. We had a good time last Thursday. This bar-restaurant is perfect for family dinner or birthday celebration. But better to book a table in advance. The sticky rice bowl with salmon is strongly recommended! The cheesecake is amazing too. The staff are so nice and kind to talk to.Will come back soon! Thanks!

Decided to eat a late lunch here today as it is a local favourite. Food was amazing (as per usual) and I expected nothing less, but the reason I have decided to write this review is due to the lovely waitress that served us. She introduced herself as Alivia and she was so lovely and sweet, and I thought she did a really good job. She was so friendly and really understood how to properly interact with customers, including cracking a few jokes at the perfect opportunities - she really put a smile on all of our faces. I think Alivia is the kind of waitress everyone deserves in a restaurant like this!

Went to The Wayward Pigeon for the first time, and was very pleased with the service. Our waiter Chloe was very professional and friendly, delivering our food very quickly with a smile made me and my family’s dinner out a much more enjoyable experience. I would recommend coming here if you haven’t already for the great food and even better service. :)

Recently celebrated my mother's birthday and this place did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and service was on point. A great range of different food to select from which was all super delicious and the cocktails were even better :)

Its always lovely to go somewhere and know I'll be well looked after. Everyone is friendly, the music slaps, and the food is great and reasonably priced - especially for gluten free things. Cheers :))

We’ve had the pleasure of eating at The Wayward Pigeon twice now and have had an excellent experience both times. Friendly and courteous staff who are attentive, lovely atmosphere and phenomenal food - the prawn starter and scotch fillet are our favourites! Will be back again.

It was a busy night but the service was exceptional. Special shout out to Jenna (I hope that was her name) who was the best host, we appreciated her efficiency and going to extra mile to accommodate our requests. Ngā mihi

Beers were pricey but we sat a table with a group doing the pub quiz. We helped them out but I must say a lot of the questions were really hard. Nice friendly staff and all the people we interacted with.

What a lovely evening! My partner and I had our first date here a year ago today so came to celebrate our anniversary. We even got seated at our original Roble by pure chance! Even though there was a busy function in the bar, the food still came out quickly, and was delicious. Our server Caelyn was absolutely lovely and took good care of us too 😊

Service was great from ushered to the table to leaving. Water arrived almost immediately and our drinks order soon after. The food was delivered together and we enjoyed everything. Our server Alivia was very friendly and attentive ensuring we were being topped up regularly. We alway love eating at the Pigeon.

Had a lovely waitress kaelin on the bar side tonight very aware of the people dining on this side. Not once did we need to go to the bar to order drinks/food even though there was a larger table over here! Thanks heaps will definitely be back!

Amazing service and atmosphere. First time ive eaten dinner here. The waitress Shonny was outstanding with her communication and professional service. I also ordered an Extra Extra Hot chocolate and for the very first time from a restaurant, she nailed it and got it right. Thank you shonny for making the experience of dining in so wonderful. I will highly recommend this place to my friends.
