Review Cake Box - Hamilton

I bought a Tiramasu gateau as a birthday cake. Not quite like the website pic but very close. Recipient delighted. Well presented and each mouthful was exquisite. I have bought here before and the standard is very high. Many thanks. Service was great too - I called to order it and they couldn't have been more helpful. Full marks.

The Banoffee cake is an absolute banger. I don't think I've ever eaten anything as delicious before. Worth every cent.

The banoffi pie is the best is unbeatable and you get more than what you expect for $35. I am waiting for my next birthday just to try their banoffi cake

Ordered a Chocolate Mousse getaux cake for my siblings birthday and it was hands down the best! great customer service.. pricing was definitely affordable, decorated well! and they were open on Good Friday which was defs a life saver lol. I’m not a person to leave reviews but for this I had to! will be visiting again sooon :))

We have purchased from cake box a number of times over the last few years and they never disappoint. Our most recent purchase was the strawberry and cream gateau and it was divine. Not a super strong strawberry taste or sickly sweet. Can't wait to get it again!

Our work college order a benoffee cake for his birthday and also had it delivered to our workplace, the owner delivered it. He was great, friendly and we had a good laugh. The cake was amazing and delicious, it did not last long at all and the cake was quite big!.

I slways buy my partner the Dark Chocolate Mudcake for her birthday every year. I would try others these guys make but the Mudcake is so amazing i dont want to risk it. Leave the leftovers in the fridge a few days and it gets more dense and even better. Cant fault these guys. Perfect everytime.

Came from Tāmaki to check out the cheesecakes. Firstly the guy who greeted us was awesome ! Great service and good chat. Then we bought a large cheesecake and one of each of the small cheesecakes to try the flavours for our birthday tonight. All of the cheesecakes were amazing and delicious! I have been searching for a tasty no bake cheesecake in NZ since moving here from Aus and this was the best by far ! I did read the reviews before I came to this store but I like to go on my own experience and it was great !! Thank you for the delicious cakes and we will definitely be back. Our GO-TO CHEESECAKE store from now on. Thank you again. !

Absolutely the best cakes in town. If you're a sweet tooth person this is the place to go. I'm not one for sweet food but I do get the odd craving for something like this once in a while. Reasonably priced. Freshly made while you wait and the taste is absolutely Devine and devilishly heavenly. My sister and her husband bought the $30 large Banoffi cake and $35 large Chocolate Mouse cake. I bought a one person Banoffi pie which was $5 and even that was too much for me to eat alone. Friendly customer service. If you're ever in Frankton Hamilton check out these guys I recommend them before any other cake shop.

A new, clean and bright shop with a large display of cakes, banana & peach, home style carrot, boniffi, butter scotch to mention a few. The staff are very helpful and make up many of the cakes while you wait so they are super fresh. We had the Boniffi, and dark chocolate. The Boniffi was awesome creamy toffee and banana but not the over powering sweetness that you expect. The Dark chocolate had a rich dense chocolate that was decadent but you may want to save the second piece for later. The special event and wedding cakes on display show a clever, artistic style yet are affordable. They also stock a selection of cake decorating items if you’re looking for a do-it-yourself option. The cupcakes are a nice sampling for their bigger counterparts and you can sit in store if you wish. Over all even though I am not a sweet’s person this is a nice treat and a great option if you’re asked to pick up dessert.

Nice.... Macaroons are bit sweet to me. Strongly Recommend vanilla macaroon.
