The food was okay but it wasn’t bad. Definitely the crunchiest fries I have ever eaten from a bar and they were a perfect golden colour. Tasty salad with the steak, egg, and fries dish. The wraps were difficult to eat as they weren’t wrapped or even sealed at the bottom - I sadly had to eat it from the inside out.<br/>The service was disappointing as they weren’t going to let us use our voucher to pay because we hadn’t booked (we called up prior to going to check if we needed a booking - they said no as it was very quiet in the restaurant area).<br/>The manager solved the issue, as the other server misread the voucher.<br/>Not sure if we are in a hurry to come back yet.

Don't waste your money, Im sure the meal would have been better at MacDonalds - not going back there again. It took forever for the meal to arrive, 1x pizza was burnt - had to be sent back was like cardboard, Burgers could have done much better at  MacDonalds  at 1/4 of the price - they wont be getting my money again.

I have been several times for brunch. Love their deals which include a drink.<br/><br/>Service is always great.  The owner? man in charge? always comes a makes sure everything is going ok. He is friendly and often will give a deal or discount if you are a day out of advertised time etc.<br/><br/>The meals can be a bit hit and miss but are never bad. <br/>The pancakes are on the smaller side but the TDO breakfast is really large. <br/>The hot chocolates are always great.<br/><br/>We like the relaxed casual vibe of the place.<br/>Good parking too.

Staff are always friendly and accomodating even when we visit with a large group, They even gave us a free platter! Thanks for the awesome service guys.

Order was incorect when I received mine it had lettuce that should never have been served all the middle bits hard ... the smoked chicken needed to be cut up into cubes ... experience was horiable would not recommend

Warning, do not waste you're time nor money! Service was crap, non existent. Meals were rubbish. Over priced! My 10 yr old could have cooked and served better meals than what we had tonight. Breads - stale. Only saving grace was $40 off our meals!!!!!

Went her for my birthday dinner a few weeks ago and most meals were good except the pizzas. They were over cheesy and had very little meat on them. Not Worth the $20 we paid for them. Wont be back in a rush

Not impressed. The food was pretty average - the pizza was dry with stringy lamb. The service was reasonable, but then when I went to pay the bill was wrong. I won't be back.

After looking at some other options in Hamilton, I chose TDO for a 60th birthday dinner for a group of 20 people. What did it have over other restaurants? Parking right outside, space for a large group, friendly staff, good selection of meals at a reasonable price, homely atmosphere, no loud music - so we could all talk and have a good catch up. We were not disappointed. Had a lovely evening, food was great, service was excellent - we were still at the table long after other patrons had left but we did not feel like we were "in the way, coz the staff wanted to go home", like you sometimes feel. Well done TDO, our "birthday boy" had a wonderful evening.

I have eaten here twice now. New to the area.<br/>Beautiful food,consistent. good wine choices - Lake Chalice yum and the service great.

Went for lunch yesterday.. was really good. absolutely love their menu found it very hard to choose what I wanted. Had a pizza in the end, was real good, love the thin base actually get to taste the toppings.. Good service however after we had finished eating we had to get up and order a coffee as they didn't come and ask us... all in all a good experience and want to go back to try their famous beer can chicken...

I had dinner here with my husband yesterday (14/4/11). Order their famous beer can chicken and I love it. The skin was crispy and the chicken was tendered and flavoursome. I also like the way it's presented, hung up on the stand and let oil &amp; juice ran out into a cup. I wish the chook was bigger than this little poor thing though. A head up for those who plan to order, it take about 40 minutes to cook so be prepared to wait. We also had their satay chicken pizza and it was average. But to be fair my husband didn't like their thin base (too chewy for him) and I didn't like banana as a topping. It's a bit overpowered and I couldn't tasted satay sauce at all. Average price for their food was about $18 which is pretty good. I thought beer can chicken was a bit pricey though being about $40 compare with their other dishes. I didn't try any other mains so can't comment on the taste but the portion size was pretty decent. The atmosphere was nice for a pub located outside CBD. Plenty of tables and free off-street parking. The service was great. Their staffs worked really hard to serve all customer with minimum waiting time. Might see you again soon.

I have eaten at this restaurant a couple of times and must say it has great food, and nice atmosphere and staff. Plenty of parking too.
