I have been coming to this lovely restaurant for many years now, and I have never been disappointed. The sushi is always the perfect size, and never fails to bring absolute pleasure to any customer who visits. The staff are always efficient, and the pricing is unbelievably inexpensive. This is the best sushi place that I have ever been to, and I trust that Kobe Sushi and Bento will continue with the amazing work that they are doing. Highly recommend!

Huge range of sushi to choose from and it's usually really fresh due to the popularity of the shop. The prawn tempura is unbeatable! It used to be $1 a piece but while the price has slightly increased, I think the prices are still fair.

This place is what made me love sushi! Have tried many places and have never ever experienced the amazing taste of sushi these guys make! I always get the chicken ones, so so gutted they got rid of deep fried chicken omg it was amazing! Used to go everyday when I lived in hamilton, so gutted I moved to te aroha as miss this place and always buy a huge amount to eat and take home with me when I do visit Hamilton. Honestly my favourite food, I wish I was your family and knew how to make them yum yum yummm!!☺️

Great place to go to have cheap sushi. Great sushi considering the price you pay ($1 per roll) and most of the time if they are not too busy and they are out of the sushi you want they can make more for you. Couple of times I have gone in there and they have been out of the sweet bean curd they have made up more for me would recommend for anyone on a budget as you can get a filling meal of sushi for $6-$10

You guys changed my taste on sushi! Never used to like it nor eat it until I tried it here. Definitely a forever customer, come practically everyday since my course is in town and hope to continue going so please keep up with running your sushi business ❤

Love Kobe Sushi ❤ it's my favorite sushi shop. I've been buying my sushi there for 17 years and it still is amazing. The staff are awesome too, especially the owners. Love it!

Absolutely Superb , delicious sushi at a affordable price, staff are friendly. I bought a Kobe rice box with fried chicken and sweet chili sauce, the only thing I could suggest is more chicken and cut it up so its mixed in with the rice the whole way through. Well done Kobe Sushi, first class will be guaranteed to come back.

Simple but very yummy. Combined with low price it's my favourite sushi place. Definitely recommend, especially if you're on a budget!

I go to this place once a week, every week and order 12x Salmon and Cream cheese rolls for myself, then I order 6x Salmon & Cream cheese and 6x Teriyaki chicken rolls for my hubby. I love sushi so anywhere I can get em' in bulk  and they taste great at a $1 a piece, im all for it..

We had a lunch here during the trip. That's a great place with tasty rolls and sushis. The prices are really reasonable as well. Would highly reccomend.

I love Kobe Sushi and Bento because its always fresh everytime i always have the same sushi every week me and my dad go there its so good if its your first time in hamilton i recommend coming TO KOBE SUSHI AND BENTO

I’m from auckland and whenever I go to Hamilton I would have there sushi, great price $1 , I love the salmon nigiri which is always fresh! And there fried sushi are my favourite. there customer service is great whenever I walk in the guy greets me straight away. They are busy most day so don’t always expect a seat or I wouldn’t recommend going during lunch time.

Salmon nigiri is not fresh. Taste is awful like it was left overnight. Fried sushi is ok, I think that is the only thing I can buy in this shop for health and safety. Good location and cheap price at $1.

Visit often after school, and have always had fast efficient service, even though the line is always long. Quite a small space inside, and tables are often taken, so takeaway is a good option as it can be eaten there and taken home (if no seating) $1 sushi, cannot go wrong!!

came here yesterday with my mom. loved the sushi - very tasty and affordable. disappointed with the service we got from the guy who served us though - I wouldnt say it was the ideal customer service you should present infront of your customer. he was rushing us and just throwing the sushi on the plastic tray that he even dropped one of the crumbed prawn on the ground - oh by the way it wasn't busy at all. very disappointed with his service.

We frequent this sushi store on a regular basis (at least once a week) and it's great. With $1 sushi it is busy and the food is always fresh and tasty due to the high turnover. Really like the prawn tempura sushi though it does cost a little more. Staff are direct and do rush, which we appreciate because we're usually there on our lunch break and have limited time! For the other reviewers which rate it down due to staff being curt - if you are looking for a meaningful relationship and deep spiritual connection, then this probably isn't the best place for you. But if you are after good value sushi and are in a hurry - highly recommend.

Best Sushi Best Price I wont eat sushi from anywhere else I go there nearly every Wednesday today I will be buying a rage of different sushi's for a shared lunch

Can't go wrong with the price! $1 sushi. . Awesome value in comparison to all other sushi joints I've been to. We purchased our meal, ate it and then went bacl for 2nds. There were a couple options which were more than a dollar so just be aware when loading ur plate. Sushi was delish and service was good. The place could have a bit of a clean up around the edges.. but.. was fantastic!! I'd go back.

Sushi is okay, not the best but could do for $1. Customer service is TERRIBLE!!! The ladies are grumpy and snappy, they don't even smile! They talk to customers quite rudely!

I'm completely baffled by the one bad review- the sushi here is always fresh, good, and of course, cheap! I go there every time I'm in town and can't believe other people go to the various other sushi places around, as these guys have the best range and obviously best price. Their range in sushi is good, and service is very fast, even when its packed full of people. Only problem is the lack of places to sit in store and eat, but its much nice to eat outside anyway. Always had great sushi here and its great to know what you can afford as 95% of it I'd say is $1.

One of the worst sushi places I've ever been to. Would never recommend as I'll never come back. <br/><br/>Spoiler alert: both my friend and I got food poisoning that same night after eating here. <br/><br/>Service was horrible, the ladies were snappy and although it was a little busy they weren't very helpful. When I asked for soy sauce she kept saying 'on the table' and I eventually had to interrupt some strangers to ask for their soy sauce. The tables were either full of people or rubbish and we had to ask for tissues and chopsticks because they weren't given to me after I paid. It also felt a bit unsanitary to eat off plates with so many chips and cracks. <br/><br/>The salmon was disappointing, it didn't taste fresh at all and the ones in the avocado and salmon roll tasted odd - halfway between fresh and cooked salmon. <br/><br/>The price is the only highlight (selected items ~$1/per piece. <br/><br/>Sarah Reynolds #challenge

Really good, fresh sushi for just $1! Will definitely be back and would recommend this place to friends :) Not much seating inside though.
