Review Doras - Hamilton

It's a good sign when you see a full coffee shop. With lovely staff and one of the best coffees I have had in a long time, this place did not disappoint. Despite being full of takeaway customers the wait time was around 5 minutes for our coffees and food.

Very pleased here! The hot chocolate was delicious! Staff were lovely. The seating indoor and out was really cozy and nice. I’ll be back for sure

This is my favourite coffee spot in Hamilton, and the food is great too. The owners are really friendly. They're Thai, and they have Thai curry on the menu as well as lots of great café food. The atmosphere is really nice too. It's a cool old building that has been done up keeping its original charm. Hard to beat all round!👌

Loving dropping in here most mornings on my way to work. Very friendly duo serving up great food and beautiful coffee. A great little local establishment worth the visit and support.

Dora's is a gorgeous little cafe which I go to when I want to escape the hustle and bustle of work and whatnot. It is a place where youll find a seat on most days and you can either sit outside in the morning sun or sit inside listening to the chilled out music, often indie music. The coffee is good and you can find a selection of food in the cabinet. Thank you Dora's cafe!

Amazing food, wonderful service. All the food is beautiful but the Asian inspired food is divine! Can’t help but keep coming back to try everything on the menu as it’s the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time. Well priced and generous portions, staff are super lovely too.

What an absolute gem of a cafe. Doesn't look like much and is on the most boring looking street in Hamilton. Great service by the widest of smiles. Comfortable seats. Then wow. The food was the most delicious I've had in a while. The texture and flavor were just bursting. The feeling that the food actually enjoyed being eaten. We will definitely be back soon. Two thumbs up 👍👍

Really nice coffee and food. Staff are so friendly and courteous. Bacon and egg quiche is my favourite. Muffins are big and yum!

Fantastic quirky cafe in Hamilton. Team is awesome.

Character filled coffee shop with quiet and colourful regulars, local businesspeople, and students. Their coffee uses a good bean, and it shows in the final product. The snack selection is good, though a bit over the top on sweetness for my taste. Service is very good, being polite, friendly, patient and surprising quick. Environment is pleasant and clean, with a few street tables. Only downside worth mentioning is that the soy latte was a bit watery, but its a notorious drink to get right.

I have visited Dora's Cafe regularly over the past 12 months. Dora's is a quaint bohemian cafe adjacent to WINTC. The coffee is easily the best in town and consistently so. The staff are friendly and interesting. The decore is classic little wooden round tables and large paintings on the walls by local artists. The food is excellent.

The people who said the staff are friendly must have been going somewhere different than me! They were pretty rude and came off elitist. The coffee was good, but they only seem to be nice to their buddies and pick on everyone else.

I recently went to Dora's and ordered my usual coffee, just the way I like it (not too complicated, just half and half). I was then told by the barista that my choice of drink was disgusting and suggested something else! <br/>He then asked under his breath if I wanted 17 sugars, turned to his workmate and snickered as I sat in shock waiting for my coffee.<br/><br/>Now I know the current barista has a good reputation in the Hamilton hospo industry for making delicious coffee, this review isn't disputing that. He just seriously needs to sort his attitude out. It is MY hard earned $4.00 that is paying for this coffee. If I requested a shot of vinegar I would expect the barista to oblige as it is what I am ordering.<br/><br/>I was excited when I saw the barista at Dora's, now that I am a student in the central city I was going to make it my regular cafe. Not now. <br/><br/>I am SO disappointed Dora's.

This is the café with the best coffee and muffins....Banana and chocolate....mmmmmmmmmmmmm.<br/>The staff are friendly, the food looks delicious, they have coffee cards so you can get a freebie every 10 coffees. They have smoking and non smoking tables. The décor is quaint and is situated across the road from Wintec and close to the centre of town.
