Absolutely lovely staff. Nice sized portions. I had the Avo smash with a fejoa smoothie. Loved the bread and eggs. The smoothie was divine! Unfortunately I have to give four stars because the Avo I had was really bitter and the floor where I sat was covered in muffin remnants. The table was clean though thank goodness!

This was the BEST EVER vegetarian breakfast. Lots of extras such as kale chips, eggplant, baby carrots, broccoli, mushroom, capsicum etc with vege cake etc etc Delicious … a great healthy brunch. Good coffee … excellent size. Highly recommended!!

A cafe that is airy, clean & spacious..nothing over the top fancy, just simple, comfortable & peaceful.
We shared: egg sandwiches, sausage roll & apple strudel. Well..the tastiest egg sandwich in a long time, & had to be the best strudel I've ever had..yum & only slightly heated perfectly.
My friend enjoyed her coffee & I changed my mind at last moment from coffee to try an iced chocolate..it was delicious with good amount of chocolate..nice chocolate too.
I will be back when on next trip from Whangarei to visit family..for sure.
O..I also brought a macadamia toffee n chocolate cookie which I ate on travel home that evening! Yum.

They were all Wonderful - I had a coffee a delicious snack and read a book for a while - then I did work on my PC via their WIFI - after that I had another drink while I read another chapter - I was there for quite a while and No one disturbed me or made ne feel uncomfortable. A wonderful place to meet up and relax

Always have enjoyed eating here. Nice place friendly staff and good atmosphere.<br/>Beaut meals as well. Counter food is nice too.<br/>Have been here several times. Extra large burgers and love the crumbed fish with salad and chips. Good selection to suit ones taste buds.

Had the eggs benedict today, didn't enjoy it asked for spinach and no bacon, and the gave me un cooked baby spinach leaves not very nice at all. Won't be back 😒

Was very disappointed with my first visit. My partners whole order was wrong so we had to send it back and my what was supposed to be a feijoa smoothie tasted fake and nothing like feijoa. Only upside was that the food wasn't to bad. Won't be going back in a hurry.

A big shout out to Sam and the rest of the staff at Davies Cnr cafe. Have been going there for quite some time and the standard of food and the service is second to none. I has fast become mine and my sons' favourite place to go.

Had morning tea with my grand daughter yesturday. The cafe is light and colourful with good seating, a couple of lounge chairs, a kids black borad etc. My coffee arrivrd in good time, a little milky for me not stronge enough. Our curly fries were actually very tasty rather morish, ate way more than I intended. I like a cafe with a more individual style and food selections but for a chain cafe this isnt too bad, however they could invest in some new cups as mine had three chips out of the rim which isnt a good look.
