Nice coffee. Highly recommend place Staffs are treating not good. Staff need to get more training. Otherwise it’s all good.

Unfortunately, the old owner of this shop was horrible which resorts bad reputation of Muffin Break, but since the new owners come in. The atmosphere and food have sky rocketed. The experience was unearthly, loved the service and the overall environment was so joyfull, fully reccommend visiting.

A friend and I visited the coffee shop on 7th Feb 2021. we paid $100 + $5 cash and were given the wrong change (i.e. $50 short). because we were distracted by a number of things we forgot to check the change. i went back to them a day or so later and they agreed to own up the mistake it and gave us the right change. Just wanted to give a big shout out to say thank you for doing the right thing. It doesn't happen every day!

The most kind & friendly folks run this cafe!!! I assume they are a family as they are always happy & smiling, & work well together. Thank you for many lovely cuppas & delish warmed muffins, ...with butter!!

Underated food was tasteful lowkey worth a visit

Absolutely love this shop, I cannot go past it until I eat my favorite blueberry cheese cake and coffee. This is the go to shop for the best coffee and cake

We went there Sunday morning when we visited Hamilton from Auckland. During the visit to Base we went to muffin break for coffee. The drink was nice and strong. They have hood selection of muffins, cakes and slices. We had 2 coffees, sausage roll and salted caramel and chocolate muffin. The food was good and service was fast and friendly. 👍👍

My go to cafe whenever I visit the base. Last visit got a hot chocolate( yum!!) and a carrot cake. Despite being a franchise cafe the carrot cake was not dry and tasteless but moist and delicious. Good stop during my weekly shopping trips.

I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I know a substandard coffee when I taste one. The milk was far too hot, with a burnt sour aftertaste from the coffee, and the texture was watery/thin under the froth. I didn't have high expectations to start with but I totally regret spending my money here for the "quick" coffee fix. Another thing I noticed: they were lacking sugar on all of the tables. No idea why you wouldn't offer this freely at a coffee shop... Skimping on the basics.<br/>Only merits: I enjoyed my B&E muffin. The Spinach cream cheese muffin was a dry, crumbly let down. Unfortunate experience at this Muffin Break.

Really friendly staff 1 food is average but you def need to learn how to make iced chocolates as that is a complete let down to your cafe. Always clean and tidy however

Went there today around 9 looking for coffee. They were closing the coffee machine down but reset it for me and my wife. felt great. good mocha as well. They gave my kid a free muffin. Great Stuff!!!!!!

Recently went there with my family... We ordered 2 medium lattes 3 muffins and 2 milkshakes. My kids loved the milkshakes. The lattes were nice and hot. We got 10% off on the coffees....Good food. Great service. Will definitely be going back.
