Great people & great food. Had a stroke and on a very strict & tight budget. Thx for places like this . I can still go out and eat a decent meal at a fair price

To be honest I don’t know about this nice and clean place helping needy people thank you for all your support and help efforts. Merry Christmas for all🎄🥗🧀🥞🍔

Brunch is on! We had THE BEST sandwiches! 5* “Yummiest grilled cheese” (bacon, caramelised onions, apple butter with white cheddar) and “Chipotle breakfast sandwich” (arugula, bacon, cheddar, egg, with chipotle mayo). Bacon was optional in both of those sandwiches. Coffee 5* was delicious, brewing beans from Detour. We ordered americanos and enjoyed them thoroughly. Dine-in has resumed (but still serving in takeout containers). Accessible space: There’s lots of room to move people and mobility aids around between tables, or to sit at the big table in the middle. Add a donation for the pay-it-forward (jar of buttons as tokens for guests who are short on money). You can also make a button donation online.

The food is good, they have healthy options for good prices, and the button jar to pay it forward is cute but also a great way for people to help out anonymously. There's an all gender bathroom and it's wheelchair accessible. The building is gorgeous, and the decor is all different, but it goes together. Kind of like all the people that gather there.

I've been coming since they first opened and it is the most wholesome place on Barton. They are now open for eating in, definitely recommend sitting at the community table and getting to know your neighbour. Purchase $1 buttons if you can, with an encampment next door at Woodland Park they can use each and every single one to feed the unhoused and underserved! Amazing! I absolutely love the atmosphere and the delicious food. They have a great selection of sandwiches, salads, and a scrumptious brunch menu on Sat mornings. Yummy cafe style drinks and baked goods too. Everything is affordable and they have a unique system involving buttons to feed those who can't afford a warm home cooked meal. Wonderful place. :)

Great options at affordable prices. Service is pretty good, and the option to donate buttons for other patrons to put towards their meals is amazing. Lots of communal seating is available to encourage getting to know your neighbour. Highly recommend at least trying once.

Eat good food in a lovely Cafe and help get healthy food out to the people who need it most, at the same time! The staff are wonderful and the other patrons have always been friendly. It's a good place.

Traditional style breakfast. Delicious! Bennetts hot apple cider. No dine in, only take out. Plenty of customers. Busy around lunch time.

We come here all the time. The area and people can be a little strange sometimes but the cause is truly amazing. They have all kinds of charity events and I think it may even be run by a Christian group as a kind of charity itself! Communities and neighbors helping one another. We feel lighthearted when we come here. I hear the staff are all volunteers.... and the food is SO GOOD and consistent. You'll be shocked at how great the prices are and feel wonderful leaving. They have a button system where you can buy a button that helps someone in need pay for their meal. In the picture: potato&leek soup, salad on special/ seasonal, jalapeno grilled cheese, buffalo chickpea wrap.

Terribly slow... Order 2 takeaway coffee ended waiting for over 25 mins and the coffee just average. Will never come back again

Came here recently for breakfast. Ordered the Paleo breakfast which was avocado, poached eggs, grilled tomato, mushrooms and a side salad... Nothing wrong with the food presented but also not a stand out dish. Fairly average

Had morning tea here Saturday morning. Large clean n bright cafe with outside, table n booth seating. We were presented with a full counter of food with alot of options including cheesecakes, pasteries, savouries and salads.
I ordered a sweet brioche which surprisingly was served with cream as was my husband's almond croissant.
Our food was served quickly by friendly staff. The coffee had been a little overextracted but within@ my tolerance. I did feel a little like I was in a large mall cafe producing mass amounts of food without much atmosphere or ambience. But if your hungry in need of a shopping respite not a bad option.

Great coffee, to be sure! But this Coffee Studio has been thought through! At one end, there is children's furniture, and also a book exchange. Clever! For those of us without children, we can go to the other side! Peace!
The service is charming, caring and friendly.
The ambience is subdued and serene. Newspapers are available, as well. The place is spotless!
The food is delicious, from the self-choice display, to specially ordered food from the menu.
I will be back!
Had breakfast early this morning. Nice place. Went up to the counter & placed our orders. I had the vegetarian quiche with small salad, which was average. & my companion had sausage roll & a Americano. He enjoyed his. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Good service. Will go back & try the lunch menu next.

Been here a few times and was never disappointed with their food and service. The place is cozy and bright. Staff were fantastic. Food were tasty. So far, their smoothies has been the best seller for me and my partner.

A friend and I went here for brunch, and the menu is relatively standard, I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon, she had grilled mushrooms with poached eggs.

My eggs were a bit under, and hers were a bit over. My meal was supposed to be served with basil pesto, as stated on the menu, and aioli, which I had requested. Neither of these showed up with it and I had to argue with the server about what the menu said regarding pesto.

The coffee was decidedly average, the iced cherry chocolate was good.

Overall I wouldn't recommend or go out of my way to come back here.
