Went there twice and wish I have tried even before. Awesome food, welcoming and warmth atmosphere. It closes at 8, giving us enough time to enjoy after the library closes. I particularly loved the prawns and pork tonkatsu, crunch and yummy to the extreme. Will come back again in a few weeks. 감사해요!

This place has great quality food.
I've just eaten a very fresh and well presented meal.
The outside of the shop doesn't do it justice.
Normally I would have walked past it but today for some reason I opened the door and was pleasantly surprised.
While I have been sitting here there has been a steady stream of people who seem to be regulars coming in and ordering takeaway meals.
Dont be put off by the look of the place. Push through the door and give it a go.

Absolutely amazing food. We placed an order from work for close to 15 people and Dr Donburi had the food ready plus all the extras by the given time. Food quality along with the presentation was amazing, very fresh and tasty.

A slight wait for you food but it's worth it.
I ordered the chicken katsu that came with rice and a salad it was about $15 but I think I accidentally ordered at large meal.
The katsu was crispy with a tasty curry/gravy across it. The rice was cooked perfectly and the salad was well balanced.
The presentation was also restaurant standard unfortunately I got alittle carried away and didn't get a photo till after I'd had afew bites.
This is definitely the place to go if you want a good katsu in Hamilton.
I look forward to trying the pork katsu on my next visit.

My fave donburi spot in Hams! Great prices and free miso soup top it off👌🏽 I can never decide between their chicken katsu and teriaki salmon so I get both meats everytime 🐷😂 Amazing as always🤤

Perfect quick bite stop. Generous serving of chicken in the teriyaki don. Ordered, got myself a miso soup, and just a few minutes later my meal arrived. No bells or whistles, just good, quick food and service.

My fav place for donburi and omurice in HAMILTON. It’s cheap (ish), fast and cheerful and gives you good, hearty fare. The omurice is a giant mound of flavorful rice topped with a soft, thin eggy omelette slathered in some delicious curry like sauce and huge chunks of crispy chicken or meat of your choice on the side . Here for the food not the ambience.

Of all Donburi places I’ve been to this would have to be my favourite! The chicken katsu is a must and is a go too every time I pass through town for lunch.

My friend recommended we go here as she ha been here multiple times and it is a favourite of hers. I got the katsu chicken and was abit disappointed as I kept spitting out tiny bones. I really wish the chicken had been de-boned as I’ve never had this experience before, my friend said that had never happened to her so I trust her recommendation I just hope it doesn’t happen again. Other than that a lovely place and it was packed of people.

Such a nice quaint place to relax at in town. Food always good quality and the owners are very nice. I usually get an omurice with chicken or pork katsu. Highly recommended

Been coming here for nearly two years. The food is great, the Teriyaki Chicken donburi is by far the best I've tasted anywhere. Easily the best donburi you can buy. Excellent restaurant quality food for $10 and they also give you free miso.

One of the best places to eat in Hamilton because of their very pleasant service and the best bang for your buck when you're looking for large portions of balanced and healthy food. They have a $9.90 Daily special which makes customers coming back for more. I've been a loyal customer ever since the first time I ate here 5 years ago and have tried most of their food. My personal favorite is the beef omu(omelete) rice, it's definitely worth coming back for!

Went here for lunch and was pleasently surprised. Had the rice omelette with pork katsu. Large portion size and very tasty as well. Also got 2 free dumplings with the meal. Cheap meal. Excellent value for money. Definitely worth going back for a second visit.
