Sing-Dar Takeaways is the local "fish and chipper" and Asian cuisine in Melville area.
For me, the place ticks all the boxes!
The food is well cooked, full of flavour, plenty of variety with an Asian menu and well presented. Everything is wrapped individually to keep the flavours in and the chips still crisp! Great menu to choose from and packs available from $8-9?
Ordering is avai online, phone and in person. They also do large catering for the workplace or functions.
Best to pre order if possible, because they can get very busy during the dinner rush.

From Chinese food to fish and chips, nobody goes as hard as SingDar on making it incredible. I’m Chinese, and Chinese people usually hate Chinese takeaways because something isn’t perfect, but honestly there is nothing to complain about here. That fish burger speaks for itself, no comment needed. JUST LOOK AT IT. Everything is perfectly crispy, seasoned and fresh, I have moved to this part of Hamilton for less than a week and have gone there three times!

good service for food, bought family feed for 4-6 people costing me around $70 including chinese and fish and chips, good value, hot and fresh. With a huge inflation atm theses guys still put out good bang for buck value food to feed familys.

OUTSTANDING service and the GREATEST FISH and Chips we've ever had in our lives. Chips thinly cut with light crispy texture, less salt, and not oily. Fish light and crispy less salt and not oily. The batter is very well balanced. Everything looks and tastes fresh. SO very DELICIOUS!

Was recommended to try the Sweet & Sour Pork. Just gonna say that it was amaaaazing highly recommend. I'm gonna keep going back to Sing-Dar :) oh and the chips are so crispy and golden

Delicious! We got snapper, sausages and chips with chicken salt and it was lovely! We live in Australia and whenever we are in NZ we ensure we come here and get a good bit of kiwi fish n chips!
