Dog friendly must be on a leash. Meal was very large , doggie bag needed . Table's are cleaned between customers. Vaccinated pass essential. Take away available . Two large outside seating and garden bar. Clean toilets . Free pool on Sunday .
Don’t drive past… blue cod and whitebait to die for. Highly recommended
Excellent stop over on a large sealed parking area at the rear of the Bar & Bistro - very quiet and free, if you have a meal. Seafood chowder the best I have ever had.

Some of the best pub food we have had - the fresh, lightly battered blue food was to die for. Seafood chowder was top notch and the Ham steak, thick, juicy and delicious 😋 Generous portions of all and drink were very reasonably priced. Friendly staff and locals alike - highly recommended!!

Called in for tea on the way home back to Ranfurly haven't ever been there before I was pleasantly blown away with the friendly service, clean facilities, the menu was nice and simple, good size pub meals, my hubby had the steak served with the most delicious fries and yummiest salad big size peice
