Me and my partner came to Old Post Office Restaurant for valentines dinner.
I got a large catch of the day, he got pasta of the day.
My meal was fantastic, fish and chips were well cooked, salad was very complimentary of the fried components. Accompanying sauce was also magic.
He said his pasta was fantastic.
Would definitely return next time we're in town.

Absolutely one of the best roast beef dinners I've ever had in 60+ years (even better than mum's). Meat slow cooked 4 hours, tender & fell apart at a touch. Veges also perfect. First class service and hospitality.

Thank you team for a very pleasant evening meal.Visited in May,had very good roast of the day along with a beaut beer.Had nearby gas fire.Roomy seating.Very friendly helpful staff,good value food with plenty of choices....nice beers on tap.BEAUT.

Amazing meal tonight👌3 of us had the chicken Burgers & its the first time in ages I've had a real chicken breast in a Burger (not deep fried). Very nice😋Good size meal & Value. My partner had the roast & struggled to finish his meal. Best roast he's ever had! Lovely atmosphere, not to noisy. Staff were very friendly. Definitely be back next time we r in Hanmer.

Second time I've been here and fantastic both times. Food was great. The roast beef was melt in your mouth. All the staff were attentive and friendly and great banter with my 3 young sons. Highly recommend.

A first time to Hanmer Springs thermal pools, we had a late dinner at this restaurant. The roast beef dinner my husband ordered was super delicious. I had the seafood chowder which was very tasty although the soup could be a little thicker. Dessert of mango cheesecake was very yummy. A special treat was when I ordered a cola beer and they delivered although it's not on their menu. Prices were reasonable and staff friendly, attentive and super efficient.

Want a place to dine! Great service with historic feeling, dine by the fire place or find a quite corner to yourself. Meals fabulous, wifes salad & my shank both 10/10. Apple pie was great with custard to poor over plus ice cream and cream, we had to share as was plenty for two!

Delicious food, big props to the chef. Serving sizes were generous, very happy. Pricing surprisingly cheap for the quality and quantity of the meals. Both outdoor seating and indoor.

Service was attentive and genuine and our meals came quickly. Good pub style food at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend. The servers were happy and quick to accommodate. Great place!!!
