Review Rush Munro's - Hastings

Such a family favourite when visiting Napier. Lots of memories shared by my parents, passing down the history and love. Malted milk is still amazing!

Amazing place for a lovely ice-cream. Their Sundays are also excellent. Above all the customer service by the staff is just superb. I will deficient them every time I go. They have ample parking which is a little next to the creamery.

So creamy good that I didn't think to take a picture of the ice cream cone itself until after a few big licks. Lots of flavours, but interesting not like super crazy combinations of like cookies and brownies and things that'd overpower you like supermarket ice cream, but more subtle smoothness. Lots of room outside to lounge around and eat under the trees or roof, even if it's a bit nippy outside. Simply cannot beat the price either compared to anywhere.

Delicious creamy ice cream. I got a nice large portion for a single scoop. The maple & walnut flavour is definitely recommended.

I remember coming here as a child when we came to the Hawkes Bay on holiday. The icecream is still top quality. Service today, in spite of being very busy, was friendly and fast. The sundaes were great value... Highly recommended!! Just as fabulous as the olden daze... Thank you...

Beautiful place, good ice creams but it is not the best customer service

Friendly service. Strawberry thick shake and passion fruit ice cream soda to start with. Sitting under shady courtyard was relaxing and peaceful. Had passionfuit 'peaks' ice creams on the way out..the best on a fine and sunny Hawkes Bay day.

Delicious icecream. One had a yummy waffle and the other was with two biscuits. Both were yum, wish the biscuit was softer, had to scrape off the cream and ice cream to eat them.

OMG! Despite their being a few people in front of us the lines moved really quickly. The staff were super friendly and we're happy for us to sample some of the flavors to help us with our choice. Ordered a two scoup sundae (cookies and cream, rum and raisin) and it was huge (should have had its own area code). They certainly didn't hold back on the serving size, or for the cream and nuts. It was amazing. Despite giving it a serious crack I couldn't finish it. We'll be back next time we're in town, though maybe we'll shared one next time :)

Great stop on the way home on a hot Sunday evening, give the kids something to look forward too. but be warned these ice-creams are not small! but taste great. what do you think?

Very delicious ice cream!!! Lime gin was so good and refreshing. Stuff very friendly and lovely little area in the back to enjoy the ice cream. Highly recommend it!

First time at this well known ice cream place in Hastings. Service was quick, the Ice Cream was amazing - Feijoa flavor - the size was super large for a single cone. Took our two mokos along and they loved it too. When one of our moko dropped their cone, they offered to replace for a dollar. That's how you look after your customers and kids in particular. Highly recommend a visit to this place.

Great ice cream. Great range of ice creams. Tried the malted milk which was insanely awesome. The single scoop is quiet large and fulfilling. 100% would recommend it. Tried both fijova and ginger which was a nice but weird combo. Also tried a weird honey flavour which was weird but okay. Also looking forward to trying the Sunday’s which I’ve heard is really good. Looking forward to going here again 😁😁

Living in another country for 6 years now... I always visit Rush Munros every time I’m home! Amazing selection, flavors are perfect. Love the garden, brings back childhood memories. My fav is malted milk milkshake, passion fruit soda, and banana ice cream!

Great ice cream- the flavour list wasnt that great... the ice cream sundae is a good deal. However, they put lots of other sweets etc on it which drowned out the flavour of the ice cream.
