Review Gengy's Mongolian Bbq Buffet Restaurant - Hastings

My little family and I loved going to gengys. They are fussy eaters when they want to be but seeing they could make their own meal and watch it cook in front of them they were happy and ate it all. Would definitely recommend going

Was there for a beautiful 21st birthday. Had the place to ourselves for a Saturday afternoon. Very special. Great service and they managed to accommodate me a vegan. Well done.

We went for dinner with our work team. We had a great time, the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I recommend it 100%! ☺️

We have been to Gengy's all over the North Island , this one is right up there with the best but with twice the room . The variety of food was unbelievable . And did i mention the sea food it was so fresh . The staff throughout were of the highest quality . The system that was in place once you are seated had been will worked out . They give you a card with 2 # on , table # & guess # . You go select a variety of food take to BBQ give them your card and go back to your table and wait for your meal to be delivered . No waiting in line , you wait relaxing at your table sipping on your wine aahh .

Place is a must try. Food is 10/10. Place has gotten even better with new management. Shishir was very helpful and recommended us few options. Looking forward to coming again for dinner.

This place is an all you can eat experience, it's amazing and has a wide variety of food and desserts that you csn choose from! 9.5/10, love it.

It’s all-you-can-eat with a difference. Food is cooked while you wait. There’s pancakes, seafood, meats, ice cream, jelly, vegetables, and a great selection of sauces. The place is also licensed (cocktails, wine, etc). The kids loved the options and combinations. Will visit again!

Absolutely great kai, the cooks were so good despite having to pump out a lot of orders, and was my first mongolian bbq experience. Would recommend!!!

Calming, inviting, and comfortable. Had seafood soup, 2 main dishes, pancake with ice cream Excellent company 👌 Staff accommodating. Would go back there again.

A must go to restaurant while visiting Hastings, exceptional food, service and atmosphere. extremely helpful and friendly staff. You will not be disappointed

Really enjoyed it here selection of meat, vegetables,was fantastic mouth watering while they cook it for you will be returning that is for sure thanks to the team at Gengys👍

Great food good service Can be busy with lining up and waiting But worth it.
