Review Oak Estate Wines - Hastings

What a great place. Got a recommendation to go there for lunch and Simon and his team did not disappoint. Great people, great food and the platter with all home made pates and other things was just fantastic. Go there, you will not be disappointed!

Lovely little wine estate with great food and wine tasting👍😁 Emma was amazing in her knowledge and services, highly recommend stopping by and relaxing in the outdoor seating areas. We loved the Rosè, Pinot Gris and Late harvest (bought takeaway bottles and the tasting was complimentary).

Oak Estate is a tranquil, understated winery where we had an amazing platter, accompanied by a tasting of five wines we selected to try. Our hosts were welcoming and knowledgeable - we will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend you visit them too 😊

We were totally disorganized, rang at the last minute asking if Oak Estate could accommodate 8 people, and they said yes, no problems. We got there, what an amazing view, staff were amazing, food was so good too. We jad the Oak estate platters and Glazed Lamb Shoulders with Honey glazed carrots. Everything was so delicious we even ordered more. The kids loved the Lamb dish to the point that even the sauce on the plates disappeared! Oh I can't forget about the wine selection and the delicious potatoes too! Absolutely stunning. The staff went above and beyond for us, they were packed so could have easily said sorry were booked, but they let us in. Also a massive thanks for helping us with our daughter's dietary requirements.

Excellent. We were referred here by another winery that was closed. Thank goodness! We wouldn’t have found it ourselves. Attentive, knowledegable, friendly (but not overbearing). Perfect lunch out. Highly recommended.

We held a private function there. It was super easy to organise, the food and wine were outstanding. It is a beautiful venue and I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Great wines, delicious food, and friendly service. A nice place to stop for lunch with outdoor seating available at the back. They also sell some goods at the shop including homemade bread. The owners also run an Airbnb on the property if you’re looking for a quiet place to escape the city.

I went to Oak Estate for my birthday lunch - there were 8 of us in our party, we enjoyed great platters, wine and a beautiful setting - helpful and knowledgeable staff - nothing was too much trouble - the food is excellent, and well presented;Ideal for lunches with family & friends - pre-book - we enjoyed the platters, one friend ordered a Vegan dish another a vegetarian salad - all very very good. I would highly recommend a visit to Oak Estate wines

Enjoyed a stunning lunch in the sun surrounded by vines flowing with grapes. Indulged in a few glasses of Oak Estate wines and had to leave with a few bottles as they were so good!! We will be back and would recommend Oak Estate for anyone looking for good food and delicious wine.

We went for lunch on Easter Sunday and the food was just beautiful. Their Viognier and Syrah were a wonderful match. Lovely attentive service with a charming European touch. What a cheerful little spot under the Hawke’s Bay sun.
