Review No.5 Cafe & Larder - Hastings

We went to No 5 cafe, and it was fantastic! Their coffee and Eggs Benedict were absolutely delicious. Plus, my daughter and I had a blast hitting golf balls at the driving range. It made for a perfect day out. And the renovations at the cafe are great! I totally recommend it!"

Full 5 stars. Impeccable food and service. First time back since the reopening and it's fantastic to see the friendly vibe hasn't been lost. Meals were plentiful and tasty, staff very friendly and informative. A beautiful place to grab a bite with friends especially on a sunny day seated outside. Loads of car parking and Tesla recharge stations too. Highly recommended if you are passing through or a local looking for a meal with a view.

We had a high tea today and it was fabulous! Food was absolutely delicious...real treat food. Very nicely presented and great service. We couldn't eat all the food and they were more than happy to box it so we could bring it home. There is a full menu here, bar, driving range, cheap putt putt, simulator and other games here. Very much a family destination. Highly recommended.

Great coffee and breakfast stop near Havelock North. Flavourful dishes and generous portions. The pancakes with lashings of bacon 🥓 and authentic maple syrup.Great friendly service and all powered by solar PV panel .Noice

The Big Breakfast after a hit of golf yesterday was the best possible start to the day. Great service and yummy coffee too!

Great place for bigger group or a catch up. We enjoyed a brunch and I honestly couldn't choose from all the nice food that was displayed. I highly recommend almond muffin and cheese scones as kids loved them. Clean bathrooms with baby change in the accessible toilet. Gift shop on the premises and golf course just outside

Great variety and quality of food and drinks, clean facilities, great shopping, nice staff, Tesla chargers just outside, great indoor and outdoor seating, great foods from menu or display cabinet, highly recommend

The food was fabulous as was the staff. The young lady really impressed all of us, so much so that 2 of us passed on our praises to the boss. Loved the gift shop area too, I could have gone crazy in there!

Had a wonderful family breakfast. Eggs Benedict enjoyed by two, just the right amount of wilted spinach. Pancakes fluffy and light and pineapple not too sweet to offset caramel sauce. Omelet jam packed full of spinach bacon and cheese and a big hit. Coffee just right! Staff friendly, efficient and welcoming. Many thanks. Our last family breakfast before kids head back to Melbourne.

Very busy cafe on a Sunday for brunch. After a big night at the Bryan Adams concert, we GOOGLED great cafes in Hastings and found No 5. Big breakfasts all around. Delicious! I was so happy with my entire meal... everything was bang on what I wanted. Took a while for food to come out, but it was busy on the day. My flat white wasn't to my liking - very, very flat and a bit "sour", but hey, I own a coffee roastery, so...... :-) Everyone enjoyed themselves and we'll be back if we're up that way again. Thanks team!

I stopped in for lunch a month or so back and enjoyed a lovely setting and very tasty food. Great service. I made a purchase in their store of a novelty item that I wanted to find a local stockist of it to help a friend out. So I phoned to find out the name of it. They went above and beyond in contacting the sales rep and finding a local store near me that would have it in store. Brilliant service in todays day and age. Really appreciate it.
