Great country pub with good service. Plenty of space for the kids to run around while you enjoy a beer or two. Its a bit ou of the way is the only little gripe, but worth the stop if you are driving past.
Warm and friendly setting. Great food and very nice host.
Enjoyed our lunch with cycling friends. Good hot coffee. Tasty spicy meat skewers. Great service.
I love this place it has just got an amazing charm about it. the owner is a hard case and the food is top notch and the beer is bloody good too. even got some flash ones on tap. the road to it on a nice day is just as good but when you see this place as you come around the corner it puts a smile

Beautiful dinner, so much so we went back for dinner the next night for a repeat experience. Great food, great atmosphere, definitely worth a visit. We can’t wait to visit again! Thank you for your hospitality!
Omg this place is amazing. The staff & owner are absolutly fantastic , nothing is too much trouble. Food was soo delicious, the setting was beautiful. Highly recomend the Chook & Filly for a great experience🙂🙂
The 4 of us enjoyed really delicious food and the service was excellent. We liked the little touches of dressings for the salad. The fire added warmth to a pretty cold day.
