Review Unison Vineyard - Hastings

We were lucky to bike to this place. We had a wonderfull vegetarian platter and the wine tasting and information was amazing. Thank you very much! Also: very friendly staff Forgot to mention thay make great cappuccinos too!

Lovely family owned and operated winery. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit over the weekend. Food was delicious but the highlight had to be the wine tasting. There's not many wineries where the owner and winemaker is giving you the tasting notes. We learnt so much and will definitely be back.

Visited Unison vineyard over the weekend and had a wonderful time. Our host for the day, Gideon, was a ball of positive energy with a great sense of humour, who kept us laughing all afternoon and ensured that we had a great time. Good food and great wine - I personally enjoyed the Reserve Chardonnay and Excalibur Merlot; although all their wines were pretty great. I recommend spending an afternoon there and enjoying the atmosphere, beautiful wines and fantastic company.

Unison Vineyard was most defiantly the highlight of our Hawkes Bay wine tasting experience ! The Pino Gris offered at Unison was the best we had out of any of the wineries, and all of the other tastings were superb, we even tried a Brut which I don't even usually like however it was amazing from here ! The platters were delicious and all servers friendly and knowledgeable. Our Host Giddian made the tasting fun and had the best sense of humor, he was an absolute gem who completely made our experience, would highly recommend going on a Sat to catch him. Highly recommend stopping at this winery and allowing the most time for it if you are doing a tour

Wellingtonians on a spur of the moment bike tour which dropped us in Unison Vineyard the same weekend as a wine festival we had no idea about. It was a great pleasure all round. Out of all the wineries we visited, the team at Unison received us so warmly without any pressure to bulk buy wines - which is charming because the quality of their wines here is top notch (our favourite) for an even better price. It was a delicious reminder of how lucky and spoiled we are to live in a country that lets us drink the best stuff for the best price. The food was great, the wine even better. Thank you to Gideon and the team at Unison for a wonderful time! We look forward to our next visit.

Gideon just made our experience of Unison Winery. He was attentive, fun, knowledgeable and matched the wine selection to our group really well. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our visit and have come away with some lovely wine too.

Gideon as always with his team superb service absolutely perfect service. Always order the cheese board best in Hawke's bay. Love your wines too. Great we have a same passion heavy metal haha. See you soon .

Great customer service, highly recommend visiting this vineyard. They provide a really great tasting with lots of knowledge and background on each wine. Really friendly 5 star service :) so glad we stopped by!

Visited Unison in late Feb 2017 for a wine tasting and to find out more about a very well regarded GG winery and found Olivia, the Sales and Marketing Manager, to be extremely helpful. We didn't eat there (we tend to focus on the wine rather than the food at the cellar door!) but service for coffee and snack was excellent. Would definitely recommend - one to watch for the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch platter and wine tasting. We found the wines rather super and Luke made the tasting very informative and interesting. Thank you, we will be back.

This place was great from start to finish! Very friendly family run business, very nice wines and delicious food! Will definitely be reccomending this for others to check out - not one to be missed.

Fantastic winery. Good wine selection. Good food. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I recommend it to anyone who is in the area looking for a nice quiet place for wine tasting and a lunch.

Great wines (especially loved their reds) and very helpful service. We loved that they had a playground our little girl could play on while we enjoyed a platter and a glass of Syrah.

Seating for small groups in a room separate from the cafe and a bar for up to three people to stand at. Great detail about the wine provide by all staff. After the tasting we sneaked a wee salted caramel donut from the cafe as well!

Absolutely amazing venue and service from Gideon. Would be 6 stars if he liked greenday 😂 in all seriousness best Vinyard in Hawkes bay and best service I have had in a very long time!
