So pleased with our takeaways tonight! The aloo kulcha was absolutely delicious, a favourite for sure. Better curries than we have experienced at many of the other local options.

I dont usually write reviews on food places but this place deserves one. The takeaway order was delicious, and the place was lovely and clean and welcoming. Plus the lovely man serving was so friendly and kind. This will be our new favourite!!

If you want try South Asian Food. You can visit this Indian Restaurant. Dine in and take out. I visited with my friend who travel from US. He wanted to try different kind of foods. Its my 4 times visit here. There is a Toilet inside.

We hired Taj Spice for our wedding reception and everyone loved the food! We had so many people say how good the food was, both the starters and the mains were great.

Went off the beaten path and tried Chicken Chow Mein. An unexpected amount of Chilli not stated on menu so beware, but still very delicious 😋

My favourite Indian and Nepali restaurant in Hawkes Bay!!!!! I LOVE the Nepalese dumplings and the chicken madras.

I really enjoyed my takeaways from Taj Spice. It's very reasonably priced, the service was extremely polite and speedy and the food was delicious. I will visit again.

We've been getting food from here for 5 years now, and it has always been fantastic. We've never once had a let down. It's a family run place, with no frills driving the prices up, just good, tasty food. Large portions (we get 2 curries, which does dinner and then lunch for my husband the next day), and great naan. Good spice level. Absolutely perfect for Friday night takeaways.

Good butter chicken. Nice and professional staff and quick preparation. Still very friendly and quick (although prices have gone up)

We should consider ourselves extremely lucky to have such wonderful authentic Indian food, cooked and served by lovely, friendly people - and at very reasonable prices. We recently enjoyed not only the best chicken Madras we've ever had, but the best CURRY we've ever had !! We're hooked, so go OFTEN !!

Got chicken korma which was nice but maybe a little bit under spiced but nice regardless. Chicken tikka was beautiful and naan bread was on point. Samosas were delicious also

Had been there couple of times for a takeaway and dine in and the food is just upto the mark... nothing great about it... could’ve been a better place if the food wasn’t over done...

Good place...not too exceptional....<br/><br/>Garlic naan was yummy...ordered 2 dishes.Goan fish curry which was very tasty.... Balti chicken was just average since it appeared & tasted like mixed vegetable curry...had all vegetables in it !!

A good enough place to get Indian food. Not great but good enough. The quantity is quite less. If you really want spicy you should mention that you want Indian spicy. The butter chicken might be “popular” but it is not authentic and I personally wouldn’t recommend it. The biriyani is good but the quantity is less. The same applies for all the curries. Heads up : the rice for all the curries come together. Overall an okay place to get a meal.

If decor is important to you, then don'r come here.<br/>If excellent, authentic, well-priced Indian food and efficient friendly service are, then you must visit.<br/>The garlic nans, btw, are do die for !!

The best Indian restaurant with AUTHENTIC Indian food. Had the rogan gosh from here. Loved it. If you are on the more spicy side (unlike me 😂😂) you could ask for the extra spicy version which I ensure you is SPICY

Me n a couple of my friends orderd the Rohan gosh lamb, balti chicken, madras chicken and dal makhani.<br/>Was very stunned when i actually saw the price(a bit high for me).....the food did arrive in a rather average time.....when it did come...we just started digging in....the taste on every dish exceptional....for me the dal did not convince me much...but everything else including the rice and rotti that we orederd......the chicken was well done.....lamb was tender....rotti.was smooth.....we left that place with a smile on our faces and our stomachs.

One of the most cheapest indian resturants in the area. Been here for a quick dinner and was surprised as the food was really good. Chicken rogan josh and lamb biryani were yummy but the taste for medium spicy was a little too sweet. <br/>Will certainly be visiting again :)

The 11$ meal is amazing. It surely reminds Indians of authentic North Indian food.

We ordered some curry to be delivered at 630 pm, communication was a bit difficult but I thought we had got there in the end. I talked to 2 different people and one said it would be 40 mins, the other said it would be 20. We weren't in any hurry so I said that was fine. 730 came and so I rung to check on our order, the woman came across annoyed that I had rung and said that it was leaving very soon and hung up on me. 8pm came and I rang again, they said that the guy was driving down our street but they couldn't find our house so I said I would go outside to meet him, I waited outside for at least 5 minutes, no one came. My partner rang and asked what was happening, she then asked for our address again so he said not to worry about it, all she said was that they had tried, not even an apology. We went and got Burger King. By the other reviews it seems to be good food, maybe just don't get it delivered.

Great food,nice atmosphere with the superb friendly staff, would definitely back again for the sumptuous meal.... We have order $ 10 meal &amp; Tandoori Chicken, both foods are worth for the price. Highly recommended !!!!!

I have been back here many times for the $10 lunch specials, delicious. Tonight we went in and got takeaway Butter chicken, garlic naan, cheese naan, and Onion Bahji, wow delicious as always, we are planning on going for a sit down meal soon. great customer service, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic meal, been back twice. Naan bread cooked fresh not re-heated, excellent value for money and we will be back many more times to try and taste the whole menu.<br/>This was not what I was expecting upon entering here but the food was incredible, so I would highly recommend.
