Review King & Queen Street Bakery - Hastings

I found the food to be very well priced and tasty. there was a great selection of kiwi favs. so much to choose from! the shop itself is very basic in its appointments, but it's clean and tidy. the availability of tomato sauce, sugar and salt is great. The kumera chips were fantastic. my 2 gripes: cutlery was poorly washed and the coffee way too strong and bitter. all said, I'll be going back there some time. the well priced food with its big portions and the great selection are just too tempting! oh, and there is quite a nice public toilet within 100 metres of the shop in King Street

It has been running by new management and the name is changed to Dario Cafe

Quite good food. Nice outdoor tables.
