While the flavours aren't gonna bust your socks off like at a restaurant twice the price, I really enjoy this place, good selection of hot rice and meat dishes I enjoyed, nice service and just very charming and comfy, great friendly staff. Used to go here very often on my lunchbreak before moving away. Would def recommend

If you are looking for a restaurant. This is not one. It is more like a sushi shop and you just eat on the tables they provided. We tried to order the braised pork and the korean bulgogi beef donburi but they "ran out" by 12.30pm which is kinda weird. Anyway, despite what happened, the spicy pork and teriyaki chicken donburi was actually pretty good. Good price and good taste.

Walked past and had quite the craving for sushi so decided to pop in for a look, didn’t except for my taste buds to have the best time of their life from eating here. The salmon is so fresh and buttery & for the first time I’ve ever seen, they had a cream cheese and salmon roll with no avocado ready and waiting for me. The service was outstanding & there is unlimited soy sauce so you don’t run out. 11/10 the best sushi I’ve ever eaten and I have consumed plenty of sushi in my days, will forever come back if I’m ever visiting havelock north again

Meal was delicious, Gentleman that served me was polite informative & engaging. Good service. Meal came out efficiently & hot. Yum thank you I'll definitely go back. Decor alil dark & dated. Good location.
