We just wish we had known this place earlier. Had a takeaway tonight - one chicken and one prawn. Didn't order rice but a small box of rice was included. Plus a garlic naan. They were all super flavorsome and delicious! Better than many eat-ins we had in Indian restaurants in Hawke's Bay. The website says its owner used to be a chef in 5-star hotels in Asia. The food certainly lived up to this reputation. We will be their weekly customers from now on!

Staying at the Havelock North Motor Lodge and decided to have takeaway Indian for tea, from directly across the road from the motel. We shared butter chicken with cheese and garlic naan bread. We had mild heat, which was just right for us. We really enjoyed our meal. Would definitely recommend.

Recommend this restaurant as the best in Havelock North, Variety of options and has a Halal certification which is a high plus for people who look for Halal options.
Owners including the staff are extremely friendly and cater all your needs. Must try if you're visiting Havelock North.

Ive eaten curries all over the world. Their chief combines slow cooked with meat on the bone and rich spices that delivers the highest quality curry meal with no after burn. Simply stunning food. My favourite Kodai goat curry with yellow dal and nan bread. Spice level medium with both.

I cannot recommend this fab little restaurant enough. The food is so delicious and you're certainly in the hands of a very capable chef. The service is wonderful and the team always make you feel welcome and make really good recommendations if you're struggling for choice. Havelock is very lucky to have this little gem! :)

On both occasions, and one of them late at night... We were made to feel welcome and relaxed. The attention payed to our dining experience was naturally hospitable and easy. The food and flavours were devine!
