Review Slip Inn Cafe - Havelock

Nice restaurant with good food we ordered the Patatas bravas a Salat and the chicken and chocolate Tart and cappuccino for dessert. It was excellent and very tasty. The service was very friendly and fast, a beautiful cozy place with a wonderful view at the harbour s as no the landscape.

What a wonderful little spot this is. Sitting in the sun at the Watersedge, watching the boats, come and go. Food is so fresh and tasty, coffee wonderful. Will definitely call in here again.

This was my first visit to Slip Inn Havelock. We enjoyed our time. The weather was disappointing, but not Slip Inn's fault. We loved the layout. We loved the customer service. The food was tasty. The menu price is a bit pricey for my pocket. The council should provide some free parking for this Inn. Parking is pay and display. Overall, we enjoyed our time.

What a super cool place to eat. Friendly staff and amazing food in a location with an excellent water view. Not only can you bring your dog but we’ll behaved is rewarded with a treat. 10 out of 10 for everything and the Seafood is first class.

Beautiful meals. This was one of the best gnocchi I have ever had! My partner and I were still talking about the food when we got home 20 minutes later. Absolutely coming back!

Young guy serving seemed unsure of the menu or was rushed. Food took while to come out and some seated after use were served first. However the food was worth the roast. I had ribs and partner steak, both perfect. Partner usually small eater but she finished the meal, both wanting more but full at same time.

April2021: a welcome stop after the rain and the driver saying... Let's go for a drive..... Coffee&Cake is my thing. Neither disappointed. Not as strong as I like, but, Creamy & hot coffee. The apple slice 😍. Fire was going, the doors were open on to the decking. So nice. Really cheerful. The music was on point, not too loud. Thanks

We have been dining here regularly for the last six months. High quality food, great service. Easy parking. A real asset for Havelock.

Sublime location to watch the slow pace of the Havelock harbour. The small menu which focuses on seafood, but has other options. Like a lot of restaurants they are struggling to find enough staff so the service is slow and the lack of experience shows. Some coaching from an experienced restauranteur would help smooth over service glitches. That said our food was tasty and we will return.
