Came to celebrate our 19th anniversary, great atmosphere, superb meal will definitely be ckming again, and again

The service was excellent and the food was good the only problem was although it wasn't particularly there was a table of young kids and they spent most of their time shouting and running back and forward to the play area which was directly behind where we were seated. Perhaps seated the kids closer to the play area rather than by the window might make for a more relaxed dining experience for other patrons.

I like blue steak and haven’t come across any restaurants that can do them properly. The chef nailed it! It was perfect! Still warm when served. Amazing chef, amazing waiter, amazing experience, thank you! * Just went in for a second visit for dad’s 79th. Once again; amazing!!! Thank you guys - I’d highly recommend this place. The people are awesome and the chef… my goodness can he cook!!!

Nice cosy place, food very nice,Angus steak was yum! Polite young guy that served us, will be back. Came back tonight with friends i think new owners here, the food was very nice ,I had chicken bacon mushrooms fettuccine was the best plus would have been better if plate was 🔥 the pudding was apple rhubarb crumble ,love the way you did it in a cup. Thanks for a nice meal, will be back.

Over the years I have had too many hot meals to count here. The food is always good solid food served up hot. I had the Surf and Turf which was beautiful. The prawns and the scallops were perfect. The steak was tender and medium, just as I asked for. The history of the place is great as well. I loved Billy T James in " Came a hot Friday" !

We visited Morrisons for brunch. Great atmosphere, service and dining. Wife loved her breakfast, our moko enjoyed her kids meal and i had a delicious pan fried terakehi meal. We topped it off with a Mars Bar cheese cake and a cup of tea. Would definitely recommend dining there for sure.

The two people working tonight have done a excellent job. Very friendly waiter and fantastic meals . Really enjoyed the meals and service, we will be back. Thank you.

A good old classic pub that has good honest food. The Sav is delicious 😋 I got the chicken kabab that that was recommended by the kind waiter. The smokey sauce that goes perfectly with the freshly cooked chips is delicious. Would definitely be back!

Delicious range of selections served by super-friendly staff. The fettuccini carbonara was very flavorful and the chicken kebabs perfectly tender. Servers and bar staff were very helpful in selecting the perfect meal combination and had good knowledge of the local craft brew selection. We got there too late to join the trivia night, but still enjoyed experiencing the fun local vibes. Will definitely return next time we’re in the area.

Don't be put off by it being basically a bar/ sports, nice mellow music, ok service but really good food. We had a rib eye steak sandwich that was huge and cooked to perfection topped with mushrooms and fried eggs. Fries and a lovely salad.

My cousin and I had a lovely mother's day meal here staff are polite and friendly both were very busy but seemed to enjoy their tasks thanks to everyone for a nice evening will be back again sometime 🤗😀

I have always enjoyed coming to Morriesons for our brunch during our town visit once a week but the last couple of times have been GREAT with obviously new owners and a lovely waiter the charm of the place has increased hugely. The food was cooked beautifully and the portions are generous which suits my dairyfarming husband to a tee.

We had a meal here last night. AWESOME the steak was perfect med rare so tender ! The service was excellent . Under new management has a new menu . We will be back hopefully a lot �Omg the brownie was AMAZING . Good luck great to see you guys giving it a go lovely crew yum yum yum food

Ordered chicken tonight, was extremely dry but was told by staff working thats what you get with chicken breast. Extremely dissappointed for a $30 meal that i struggled to eat half of!

Service is awesome! Chicken breast and the brownie were absolutely delicious � will definitely be coming back for another meal here! Keep it up!

Was beyond disappointed. We called prior to arriving, as we live 30mims from Morrieson's, to ensure we would get a table. Upon arrival the waitress was flustered; she took 20mins to get our drinks to us and even then forgot one drink....we asked for water three times and we never got any. Starters were overcooked, my husbands "surf and turf" consisted of undercooked seafood (one scallop, two tiny prawns) and an over cooked steak; my "stuffed" chicken breast wasn't stuffed - it was awful, I didn't even eat it. They forgot to cook my friends meal so she didn't eat at all :( dessert for my children was a 1/4 cup of icecream in a glass :/ and to top it off, it was quiz night that no one bothered to tell us, so when my friend was a little bit loud she got told to "shut the f up" by another diner. All this for over $200 was such an awful night :(

I had the Caesar salad, it looked amazing, but was not enjoyable. The croutons were deep fried, and very oily. The dressing was very sweet and tasted like eta mayonnaise, it just didn't work. <br/>The bacon was really greasy, and the egg yolk was hard. It was disappointing. <br/>However, the place was packed, and had a great atmosphere, the staff were friendly and professional, I would go back, but try something else.

You just cant get a seafood platter like that many places. The cool bits of being a kid in the 1980s live on in Morriesons. They don't do a bad steak here either. The food is simple but goes down well with a beer

If you are looking for a family oriented kind of dinning where you can relax and eat great food warm and great service this is definitely the place you need to be. Ive sat and watched people come and go and everyone was smiling . now that says it all. great job team at morriesons cafe and bar!!!!!!!! I'm telling everyone...
