Review Cafe Lincoln - Henderson

You can definitely see why this place is busy. The interior is well designed. Service is good and customer focused. Smiley faces all around. Coffee is not bad at all. The offerings in the kitchen is quite varied. Looks quite delicious. Prices are reasonable. Parking at the back can be quite a squeeze but there is off street parking. Worth a return to.

1/ Been here a few times, parking is always a challenge but the food is worth it. 2/ Always a favourite, breakfast this time. 3/ called in on voting day, every one must have had a similar idea, very good service for Saturday brunch.

It's a nice place to meet up with friends and family. The food is good. It can get busy.

Been here a couple of times and enjoy having coffee n lunch here. Everything is good, from food to service and ambiance. I live in Mount Wellington and this cafe worth my frequent visit when I’m in Henderson visiting my friend.

Have been missing out on this cafe with the many options around Henderson area. Tried out their Bun Cha as I am an avid fan of Vietnamese food. It was worth it! Never imagined eating frilled bbq pork for breakfast but this one was on point! I am used to savoury breakfasts but this one definitely got my day started with the unique taste this dish offers. Had a taste of the other dishes the family ordered and they were all great. The customer service was beyond exceptional and the recommendations were on point. Very warming place as well and reasonably priced. Will come again 😊👌 Update: have returned and it has been another great experience. The Feijoa Apple smoothie has also evolved into something unique! We tried more dishes, french toast and creamy mushroom chorizo. Both very hearty and left us satisfied after this visit.

Tony puts on the best spread in Henderson. The locals always come here for coffee. Lunchtime you will be lucky to get a seat and they also have good range of Vietnamese food. Top spot Sterling Arnet Kakapo Business Sales

Cozy cafe, plenty of seating. Lovely staff. Coffee came within 5mins with a near full House, food followed in 10-15mins. Everything was hot on arrival. The taste was not to my personal liking, feedback to the staff which was taken in a positive light, they came back very quickly to confirm the dish and how it was prepared. This was due to the seasoning on the tofu Benedict seeming different than previous visits. Would come back again.

Still a top favourite. The food is consistently A1. Beautifully presented, super tasty and always leaving that mmmm yum feeling afterwards. Unexpected find for Henderson, this cafe offers some superb alternatives to the traditional breakfast menu. Staff are super friendly. You know you're onto a winner when you can please both Gran and your vegan daughter at the same time. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Even Gran says it's scrumptious!

Nice employees although I think they got my order confused. The bap I received was different than the one I had ordered but still tasty and I was in too big of a rush to inform them. The iced caramel latte was fine.

Awesome cafe! Wonderful food. In fact the best French toast I have ever had, not to sweet, beautiful flavours. Chai latte was perfect. Service perfect. Staff responsive , friendly and genuinely felt like they cared and wanted to be there. I whole heartedly recommend this place. Great experience.

I’ve been wanting to try here for a while and we finally did today. We had two toddlers so I’m always nervous about taking them anywhere. Service was top class! I can’t remember the last time I went somewhere with such genuineness! Food was beautiful. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much to the staff on today. We will def be back (hopefully without the kids next time haha!) Highly recommend!!

Everyone needs to come visit this place. The food is exceptional. The Fruit French Toast is the best I have ever had. Their food always has such a delicious infusion of flavours & always come well presented.

Great little cafe. Really happy with our meals, we had their version of the big breakfast - really good scrambled eggs, lovely bacon and really delicious sausage - perhaps the best breakfast sausage I have had in some time. Good prices, and really friendly staff. We'll go again soon.

Love love loved it. I had the lincoln burger 'wow' so yummy so full of flavour. Also had the chocolate brownie and that was to die for. The service was so awesome. And fast on getting our order out. My friend had the mushroom crosoint (sorry can't spell ) and she couldn't get enough of it. Will definitely be going back

OMG my new addiction. Went for first time today and used our Entertainment book. Got $25 off the bill. I agree with all other reviews. Food so tasty. Highly recommend the Bun Cho and other Bun salad. Staff are so friendly they will chat with you as long as they like. No rush and good timing. Four in our party $100 before discount.

Eggs Benedict while waiting for my tyres to be replaced. Not a bad place at all. First time coming here, will return as i quite enjoyed my breakfast. My mate had the Chorizo Potatoe and that was also very nice. Nice staff, nice place and nice food

Best freshly made caesar salad I ever had. The eggs were definitely free range and cook just right. You must try their Green Tea too. Husband had a croissant with meat and some very tasty sauce. I have been to this cafe twice in a roll.

The food here is amazing. I highly recommend the potato and chorizo hash, that was bomb. The French toast was soo good to, and felt surprisingly healthy 😂. But I would definitely come back to this place.<br/>The only downfall for me is it is a little pricey when comparing it to the quantity

This was the worst breakfast experience I have ever had! The staff were extremely rude, the eggs Benedict with salmon was far too salty and the eggs were undercooked (the whites of the eggs were clear). I felt sick after eating it and threw up the food. When I complained about the food to the waitress she did nothing to remedy the situation but just shrugged and said "oh" - not even an apology. I am so furious at the service, food and experience. Worst $50 I have ever spent and I will never come back here. So disappointed and I still feel sick.

Stopped here on the spur of the moment one morning for breakfast. Went in with no expectations and left pleasantly surprised - Cafe Lincoln is a nice cosy eatery situated on the bustling Lincoln Road that offers a more refined experience in comparison to your average franchise cafe. The Big Deal breakfast is tasty but a tad overpriced for what's served - the service was outstanding and the overall vibe was quite calm & relaxed. 4☆

Great cafe on the long Lincoln Road food tour.  Fresh and quality ingredients make this cafe stand out!  Had a lovely green tea from a great range on offer.  The keto friendly steak salad was delicious and I couldn't finish it in one go...so the team boxed it up for me.  Will take phone orders as well so you just have to park and collect your food goodness.  We are bringing the team here next month for lunch.  Highly recommend!

First time at this cafe and we were not disappointed. Great staff, lovely atmosphere and the food is incredible. A great menu to cater to all tastes. The summer scrambled eggs are the best I've ever eaten! We will be back for sure.

Who would have thought good ol’ Henderson would be home to some hidden gems like Cafe Lincoln? <br/><br/>The menu is a sort of Vietnamese New Zealand fusión and there are tons of great vege options to choose from. I went for the Vegan Tofu and Avocado Benedict. It sounds strange but it was actually super tasty! Basically came out as two large pieces of fried tofu topped with crumbed and fried avocado, a vegan Hollandaise sauce and wilted spinach. I’m not normally the biggest fan of tofu so I was skeptical about it being such a big part of the dish but it was actually delish! Again fried avocado seemed strange but somehow all the elements just worked really well together. The Hollandaise was super flavourful and creamy and you wouldn’t guess that it was vegan! 8.5/10<br/><br/>My friend ordered The Trio which came with a puréed beetroot, feta and balsamic on pumpernickel, avocado and poached egg on zucchini freedom bread and red pepper and pumpkin hummus and caramelised pear on a viet rice cracker. She enjoyed the various elements of the dish, although the presence of a rice cracker seemed a little out of place.<br/><br/>Overall, a great little cafe with a fabulous selection of vegetarian and vegan food and nice coffee. Would recommend!

This café is a hidden gem! I've tried most of menu but my favorite is Bun Dao (not sure if I spelled right....) it's a Vietnamese noodle salad dish loaded with fragrant fresh herbs~~~ yum~ if you love herbs and citrusy dish this is the one you must try. I love it!!! I mostly order it with extra tofu on th side, just perfect!!! And all of them are very kind and super attentive, especially the lady I don't know the name of........ I usually went there every weekend.... But now I've moved too far away..... I really miss this noodle dish..... :(

Went here for Sunday brunch, it was a really nice we tried two of the vegan dish, the fried tofu with noodle and kale and the avocado Benedict. It was very delicious would definitely come again.<br/><br/>Something that could be improved is that the tofu was a little bit too soft if they use a harder tofu it would be more delicious.

Favourite cafe in Henderson. Coffee is always good, great service and environment. Love the cabinet food, especially the grilled chicken sandwich.

The black rice porridge makes me say mmmmmmmmmm out loud. So very delicious. Wish I could eat it daily. The blueberry and cream cheese muffins are also a favorite of mine, especially in the mornings when they're still warm... Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff.

Small local cafe but does a good job. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The portion is very generous. The chicken burger we had was very tasty. Plenty car park at the back as well.

With the number of times I’ve gone they’ve been consistent with great service and coffee given at a timely fashion. <br/><br/>I’ve only ever sat in twice and have gone with takeaway lately. I would sit in again probably early in the morning rather than when it’s a bit busy later on. This is cafe you must come round to if you live nearby. I’d rather come to this than what’s around to be honest.<br/><br/>Highlight: Service, coffee and front pantry 😍<br/>Lowlight: Parking, too many people at times (just a pref)

Service, ambience and food all get top marks from us.  I had the crispy potato pancakes, which came with avocado and bacon - they were fantastic.

This cafe is pretty hidden as I didnt really notice it from Lincoln road when driving past. Once reading the reviews and trying the place I'll definetly be back for more.<br/>The service and food is great here.<br/>

What a snazzy place. The staff were very friendly and accommodating especially when you have kids. Although they forget you’re there if they are busy , had to go to the counter for service. Not sure if they can handle the rush. The food was pleasant, good portion size but it could do with a little more and a bit of tweaking, i.e. kids waffle could do some bananas, blueberries or mixed berries and a dollop of cream to cut through the ice cream and maple syrup sweetness.. I also found the bacon that came with the potato pancakes and poached egg was hard and dry as it was too crispy! French toast was a bit on the dry side and could do with some bacon. Overall the food, coffees, smoothies, staff and ambience was lovely. I would visit this place again with my family, other family members and friends.

Just wow! The staff were absolutely lovely and made our visit so welcoming. I had the black rice porridge which I must say was the best porridge ever with its coconut topping and sauce. My friend had the potato pancakes I think they were and the chef made me a single one for me to try. Everything was delicious. Lovely decor and spacious.

I absolutely love this cafe and have been meaning to write a review for quite sometime. Cafe Lincoln has quickly become our favourite cafe over the past year with its friendly team, clean and stylish environment, perfect coffee and faultless food.<br/><br/>My husband and I have tried most items on the menu and love the fusion flavours, my favourite would have to be The Goodie and their amazing omelette! Their Vietnamese style rolls/sandwiches are also our go to when ordering takeaway coffee. <br/><br/>Being local we have tried all of the cafes within the area and Cafe Lincoln is by far the best, we visit most weekends. They also do table service which is hard to come by these days! Highly recommend you visit this amazing cafe!

I decided to check out this place after seeing the reviews on here. Went here for brunch on a Thursday morning. I ordered the, “big deal”. The food came quickly, it was hot and delicious. I also like the set up of the cafe, great decor which made the place feel warm and welcoming. Good customer service and would recommend to anyone out that ways.

Quite surprised at this place! A bit of a meh spot, I mean it definitely gets the customers and foot traffic with the busy Lincoln road, but it’s not like your sitting on a lovely road with a beautiful scenery. It’s just a convenient spot for good food. <br/>Very good food! Big portions, surprisingly good with quality ingredients. <br/>I got the smashed avocado on pumpernickel bread, yes! Never seen that at a cafe before! But was fantastic. Had an egg on the side and came with hallumi and salmon. I really think they should give you two eggs not just one but was really quite good, price was $20 for the dish which isn’t tooo bad. <br/>My friend I came with loves the potato cake and bacon with a poached egg here and comes quite often for it. <br/>Would come back! Good food, just not really in the nicest spot.

Tucked away on Lincoln Rd, this little gem of a cafe has some of the best food choices of anywhere I’ve ever been. Absolutely delicious, totally unique and definitely somewhere to return to. My new favourite brunch place.

Great decor, cosy interior, lovely staff they always check up to make sure your alright and that everything is satisfactory, coffee is Great, well brewed and comes out not too hot, the real gem here is the food, lots of variety and it all tastes super, great that they cater to vegans aswell so I could bring.my mum along highly recommend

Eggs benedict was delish but it was actually the service we got that won me over. Our waitress was amazing, gave us her undivided attention at all times. So all thanks to her, we enjoyed our time at the cafe just that much more. <br/>Decor in the cafe is cute but the venue is a bit like hidden treasure. Easy to drive right past it.

Nice little cafe tucked away in the heart of Lincoln road. The parking isn't the greatest but it's compensated with the good food. Greeted when we walked in and were seated and given menus straight away. I got the goodie with a side of bacon and my sister got the eggs Benedict with salmon and a side of bacon. The food was really good and the portions were pretty good for the price. Would definitely recommend.

Went there for brunch with the family. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal, atmosphere and warm hospitality of the staff. We ordered the French Toast, the Burger and Eggs Bene with Salmon. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the presentation. However, if you have a big appetite and have ordered for the Eggs Bene make sure you order a side to go along with it, as I found the portion to be a little small. Also, I would've liked the portion of chips that came with the burger to be a little bigger than it was, to make the meal worth the price. Another thing to beware of is the parking. This place has limited parking. So if you decide to come in for a meal, be prepared to go on a hunt for parking.<br/><br/>Overall, I loved their food and service. In fact, because of the warm and welcoming nature of the staff, I will definitely want to return to this place and try out more items from their menu.

Service was lovely, setting is nice, was empty when I arrived but quickly got busier as I ate my breakfast. The Cambodian black rice porridge was bomb. Hidden gem on Lincoln rd, delicious food and the coffee has a great aftertaste. Beautiful decor and a relaxing environment.<br/>There are a lot of cafes in the area but tend to be crowded and packed and are concentrated in the same zone.<br/>If you want to escape from all that hustle, this is the place.<br/>

I just had the best omelette of my life. Perfectly seasoned, and covered in the most delicious combination of toppings. Hubby enjoyed his big breakfast too, especially the mushrooms and potatoes. The coffee was nice and strong, and super pretty to look at. Great service and lovely decor too means this might just be my new fave. I'm super full but couldn't resist getting some cookies to take home. Recommended!

Love this little spot. We came on a week day so it wasn't busy and it was still quite new. Cute cafe with a lovely atmosphere. Recent addition to lincoln road. Parking is around back, there is no parking on lincoln road. Very updated interior with a range of seating arrangements. Also a couple of tables and chairs out the front. There was a cold food/sweet/sandwiches cabinet and a small range of cooked items. I ended up getting the Lincoln Burger and Iced Chocolate. My sister had the Eggs Benedict with Bacon and and Iced Mocha.<br/><br/>My food:Smaller than what I was expecting for the price ($18.50) and it didn't taste like it was worth the price either. It tasted homemade, like how I make burgers so was a bit disappointed. Really liked the Iced Chocolate though, that was good. My sister liked her Eggs Benedict.We had a coupon for 25% off the total and saved $14.25<br/><br/>Would I return? Probably not. There was nothing signature about the food though the atmosphere and customer service were lovely.

Decided to try out a new local today. It was nice and quiet which was good compared to other places. Food was so good and filling, slightly different variations from other places. Cabinet food looked good too, bought something to takeaway. Will come again 😀

Came across this place by chance. Really impressed with it. It's bigger and nicer inside than you expect. Light and bright with enough seats. Great selection of cabinet food and menu choices. All what I had was tasty. Prices reasonable. Staff super attentive and fast. Will definitely be on my café list in the future.

Found this place a couple of weeks ago and was blown away on entering the building. A breath of fresh air café wise in the West. The Décor is very relaxing with nice real sized tables. The food is to rave about and shows a chef that knows his stuff as it is delicious and also clean so you don't feel bloated afterwards. The coffee is great and there is a nice selection of cabinet treats to go with it. Had to go back today and try something else from the menu...was not disappointed. The staff are helpful and very friendly and pleasant to talk too. Give it a go because this one deserves to become a café destination. Well conceived and executed. Thanks guys.

I think I have found my little piece of heaven here! It's a nice little cafe with big potential. The service was fast and friendly. They offer good standard hot/cold drinks and the cabinet food items look vibrant. Looking at the menu, you can tell the chef is pretty innovative and showing off his creativity on the dishes.
