It’s a celebration lunch with a marvellous dining place worth celebrating. The service was remarkable. Every attendant was so attentive and prepared beforehand what we needed. The food was so good that every dish tasted good till the last mouthful. If the food still tastes good when your stomach is full, it’s great food.

The food and drinks were as usual, amazing. But what I loved most was its service during my time as I suffered a seizure I go through multiple times in restaurants but don’t usually get the help they offered my partner while I was on the ground undergoing my seizure. So I thank them and the food that provided for the good experience!

Our usual go to for special occasions as they cater to a variety of taste Buds.. Great for a family get together, team outing etc. The range of pastas, pizza, steaks and seafood is of good proportion. Usually good, seldomly disappoints but, service is always good 👍

1/ Probably last visit for the year, never disappoints, simple inexpensive meals with friendly service. 2/ First visit for 2023, Easter weekend, didn’t disappoint. 3/ Another satisfying dinner in a popular family restaurant in Lincoln Road. 4/ spur of the moment, mid week dinner, still a busy service.

Great number of vegan options, we must come back again to try it all. Good size portions of delicious food, friendly and caring staff. Thank you for lovely experience.

Amazing staff and service, fools quality is great also taste. This has been our go to family dinner spot for years now, staff now know us pretty well, always greeted with a smile.

Good food selection for everyone in the family. A simple but busy place with friendly service. A family favourite when we want to treat ourselves for a steak meal or pasta for dinner, especially for a medium-sized group for birthdays or special occasions. Great choice if you also want to have dinner after tenpin bowling next door

Good food at reasonable price. It’s a nice local restaurant. Plenty of tables inside and very spacious. Their main size dishes are pretty big. Large pizza can easily feed two people.

First time ordering here, The Fettuccine Pollo e Fungi was delicious and the Marinara with no olives was spot on! On top of that, excellent service and the man on the door was a lovely gentleman. Will definitely order here again. Was a perfect addition to our first visit to Muriwai Beach. Thank you so much!

We went just before peak time. Very quick service orders and staters. Good family restaurant and menu.

We ordered lasagna and Mexicana pizza. The food was amazing and delicious. We also asked for some seasoned veggies for our baby, and they came soft without salt and super juicy. It was a great experience.

The restaurant’s ambience was very good and the servers were really friendly. I feel like the chef doesn’t care about the food and I feel like the place is becoming more like a fast food place by the day.

Seriously average, average service, ridiculously small seafood (is that legal?) and absolutely nothing special about the spaghetti or sauce. Definitely wouldn’t waste my time or money there again.

The seafood chowder was so salty, like they dropped the entire bag of salt in there!! I don’t understand how they could allow such a dish out of their kitchen. <br/><br/>The lagsana was just really plain, nothing special..for the price, quite a disappointment.

Food was nice i had the fettuccine pollo e funghi (chicken n mushroom fettuccine wit spring onions and creamy mushroom sauce, at first i thought...is that it? In the end i struggled to finish it and im a heavyweight from south Auckland.<br/>Toasted cheesy garlic bread was exactly that very tasty, we also had the chicken and cranberry pizza which is easily far better than the hut and domino's, on our table was also spaghetti and meatballs, the seafood platter, lasagna and a spaghetti pescatore (seafood mixed in spaghetti) everyone at my table must have enjoyed their meal cause there were no sharsies happnin' at all, also the parmesan salt shaker sprinkle was used very lightly on my meal which added a nice taste to it, if the shaker was a little smaller i would have stolen it. Wait times for mains were just right!<br/>If you are going to order the fettuccine pollo e funghi i suggest getting a toasted cheesy garlic bread and or a bowl of fries to go with that creamy mushroom sauce or your plate is going to win.<br/>Would i eat here again? Definitely!

It was my first time at this branch. Awesome experience! Staff were friendly and even gave my 3yo one of the christmas decoration as he was having a little tantrum. Pizza had heaps of toppings! Pasta was yummy and tasted awesome. Bringing 2 toddlers out for meals have always been hard but it was nice to have accommodating staff! Definitely will be back for more if we ever head west

We had 3 waiters and none of them communicated so they all offered to bring us water and drinks and take our orders. Then one of them left and walked in circles in the kitchen while there were dirty tables that weren't cleaned in the hour we were in the restaurant. The food was tasteless and oily. :)

Water leaking from air conditioning. It was so closed to my dishes. On of the Waiter was very nice. Kind of young manager lady wasn’t so helpful. Food quality wasn’t so good as used to.

Great staff we always go here for family dinners. Their pepperoni is a given and fettuccine carbonara!

Didn’t realise how fulfilling the (main size) pasta dish would be, despite it looking smaller than what you’d think. With a side of fries complimenting the chicken & mushroom fettuccine pasta, as you dip it in to the sauce, it just oozes in your mouth and leaves you longing for more. It was quite a wait but definitely worth it in the end. I’m a big girl, so I was guttered I got full quick but at least you can take-away your leftovers, so win win! 😂🤤

Good vibe and awsome staff, was busy but restaurant wasn't full on a Thursday night. Food was good. Had the chicken pizza. Rib eye steak and seafood plater. Houses red wine and apple cider. Overall was good.

Could not fault at all. Went in for lunch. Very friendly staff, service was awesome. Food was delicious. We had a range of food, Arancini, Pasta, Caesar salad (with chicken) calamari and 2 pizzas! Nice sized servings. Very pleasant dining experience 😊

Visited this restaurant last night (18/08/19) for my uncles farewell dinner before he went back overseas. The salmon pizza, cheesy garlic bread and foccacia prosciutto was good and nicely seasoned. The pollo avocado pasta was bland and the calamari starter looked pale and could use a couple more minutes in the deep fryer with a bit of seasoning dusted on after. The ambience was good but the service from the staff working should be improved. Although we were seated promptly, but when we asked for certain things, it took at least 10mins to get to us (like water which we had to get up for after 10-15mins of waiting for it; spoon for the pasta was given 5mins after the pasta was served eventhough the staff knew the table was sharing the dishes).<br/><br/>What i don't get is why the table we were sat at had no cutleries or plates ready when throughout eating there the staff were more concerned about resetting tables than tending to their customers and why the table sat next to us got water straight after being sat while we had to ask for water and even get up from the table to personally get it from the counter/bar.<br/><br/>Overall, some food we got was good but the service needs to be polished. Staff and service makes the experience better in any establishment.

Hands down, one of my most favourite joints in Auckland! Love the variety in their menu, their staff are super friendly and love the ambience!!! All in all, this is something I’d totally recommend!! Been here a bunch of times and tried a couple of items, but my favourites would definitely be the Lasagne, Stuffed Tortellini pasta with a Pesto Sauce (can be done on request), Chicken Schnitzel and the Creamy Fettucine Pasta. Their portions are quite big, so unfortunately, I’ve never managed to get to the dessert menu but I’d probably make a trip there next just to try a few dessert options 🤣

So it was a last minute decision to pop in at La Porchetta.. and let me tell you that it was the best last minute decision ever! The food was absolutely beautiful - Chicken Satay Pizza and Fettuccine Pollo e Funghi. The size portion for two people were fantastic! We bought the medium size pizza and the main size pasta that was more than enough food for two people to share. Best part was we used our Zomato Gold so we ended up just paying for one dish and it was so worth it! We got our food within 15 minutes which was a bonus! Great value for money. The only minus side was waiting to be seated, I think we were there for like 10-15 minutes until someone realised we were waiting to be seated. Other than everything else was superb! If I had more space I would’ve loved to try their dessert menu. I would’ve loved to given it a 4 star but I think if they just work on the small details for the service side of things I would’ve no doubt given it a 4 star rating. Would def go back.

Very busy during friday and Saturdays which means a bit of a delay before getting our meals but not too long. I've been on Sundays and that is when it is usually quiet. I ordered the chicken pizza and chicken fungi pasta and it is very cheap once you unlock zomato gold. Service is friendly and attentive even when the place is packed, but you have to ask for water. Got plenty of parking spaces outside too.

We enjoyed an early dinner at La Porchetta. It wasn't overly busy and so we enjoyed good service from the friendly wait staff. My friend ordered an amazing pizza, I chose lasagne. I enjoyed my dinner but felt it could have been hotter. Overall a good family restaurant. We also enjoyed using out Zomato Gold at this restaurant.

Really busy with a buzzing atmosphere. Pizza better than pasta imo. Pasta could be a bit more flavoursome and the sauce a bit richer. <br/>Kids love it! Nice change from the cardboard pizza variety!

We went here on a Saturday night for dinner. It took literally 15 minutes for someone to come seat us. I was very annoyed as some staff saw us & ignored us. The restaurant was crowded but still the staff could’ve atleast acknowledged us & we would’ve happily waited. <br/><br/>Anywho ... the food ... it was great !!! We got spaghetti bolognese, chicken parmigiana & salt & pepper squid. Our mains were delicious but just didn’t like the squid, it was Chewy, rubbery & dry with next to nothing flavour. The waiter had forgotten about the squid & we had to remind him. <br/><br/>Food 9/10<br/>Staff below average

Really nice to have a local Italian restaurant that is always consistent with their food - it may not be as authentic as it can be but still delicious! The chicken and mushroom pasta and chicken and cranberry pizza are our faves 😍

If I could give 3.5 stars I would but unfortunately it has to be 3. The reason they didn’t get the fourth star is simply service. We ordered a large pizza and a spaghetti and meatballs main between three of us, two sharing the pizza. The pasta dish was served first with pizza coming out nearly 10 minutes later. Also it seemed the pizza had been slightly rushed as it wasn’t quite fully cooked which meant the pizza cutter didn’t slice the pizza properly and the knives we were given weren’t sharp enough. For drinks we got a jug of juice with three glasses and we had to ask for water which we received without any additional glasses. <br/><br/>However the food was yummy and full of flavour. The large pizza is big enough to make two adults feel very full and it had a decent amount of toppings.

Me and my dad went here for dinner and we waited 30 mins for our meals people who ordered after us got there entree and main before we could get ours. I went up to see the guy at the counter 2 times to see how far away our food was and no one came back to tell us. And then finally it came and it was very disappointing we waited a while for something that was very disappointing to have.

Great experience as always. Great food special mention to the huge serving of tiramisu. Me and my wife shared it and it was more than enough. The highlight of the night was Breanna who served us excellently and took care of all our needs and requests. She has an infectious smile which you can never forget. Come to think of it the service at La Porchetta has always been great. Thank you so much!!!<br/>

I went for dinner with my partner and baby on 23/06/19. The customer service was shocking (aside from the manager on duty- who seemed like the only one who wanted to do her job). After my order was taken, I asked the male waiter if he could please warm up my baby’s food in the microwave for about 35 seconds and to bring me a spoon. Mind you, this was a 120mL pouch food which shouldn’t take very long to heat up as it wasn’t frozen or in the fridge before hand etc. He came back out with the bowl of food, not only without a spoon, but also as if he put the food in a freezer rather than a microwave. I asked him again as he was wiping down the table behind us, “can I please get a spoon”, he says “oh yup” - not at all fazed or apologetic that he didn’t bring it the first time. I turn around back to my partner, and the next thing I know, this boy is walking around, serving another table and taking their order. I wait a minute to see if he’ll realize he hasn’t done what I asked of him twice. He’s standing around the little kiosk at the back of the restaurant, not attending to anything. So I ask another female waitress if she could bring me a spoon and warm up my food some more as the boy didn’t seem like he did anything with it. She brought me back a spoon, and I waited 4-5 odd minutes for this baby food to be returned to me. My baby is also nagging and fussy by this point because she’s hungry. I call over the manager and asked if she could check on this food, if it’s been heated up and ready. The previous waitress brings me back the baby food and I noticed that the bowl the baby food was in is now different and the amount of baby food I had wasn’t the same, cut down about 1/2 the amount - 120mL isn’t very much for my 11 month old, let alone having less the food that we initially had. I’m furious. What usually would be a few + tablespoons of food, turned to a couple teaspoons of food. I asked for the manager and she said she had switched out the bowls as she thought the bowl was too hot to handle (fair enough) and that there was less baby food maybe because she hadn’t scraped the previous bowl right down. She was quick to try help us resolve the situation by offering to mash some veggies for us (I asked for mashed potato). But upon going back to my table, none of that made sense to me as the food was still not very warm (freezing cold spots in the food), so how can the food be cold still if you’re claiming the bowl was too hot to handle? Doesn’t make sense to me. I wouldn’t be surprised if the previous bowl was knocked over which explains why the bowl was switched and there was less baby food. The food was alright and the staff really need a pep in their step, especially the younger ones. A smile or “sorry” would go a long way even if you mess up. The only reason why I’m giving a star at all is because of the manager who tried to reconsolidate us by offering us a solution and trying her best to make the rest of our experience positive.

Delicious pasta, being a vegetarian I always find many great options. My favourites being Carbonara and Pesto. Even the vegan pasta is delicious. Definitely recommend

Came here for a quick dinner but ended up taking a while. We were only a group of 2 people as well... We saw other groups who came in after us but their orders were served much earlier than ours.

The customer service was exceptionally good. It’s not often you see servers who show and perform well and make customers as comfortable and pleased. Manners were very polite. All of who attended to us was in good training. <br/><br/>Worth of value for money: The proportioning and prices of food is pretty good and reasonable.<br/><br/>Wait time: pretty quick during a busy/rush hour.<br/><br/>Experience: satisfied and good<br/><br/>Food: was very delicious. Loved the way the shrimps were cooked, how the meal tasted and was prepared.<br/><br/>There was only one problem. We were using zomato gold and notified the server for the free meal when you buy one. The cashier who was I think the manager, did not want to give us a refund after charging us full price and was very hesitant to give the refund. In the zomato policy it was stated to notify the server. We thought like other participating restaurants, it will be automatic and that the server will take note or so or input it in the computer already. In the end he refunded us. Would’ve been five starts if it wasn’t for this problem. The use of zomato gold could be improved in the restaurant.<br/><br/>Will come back although.

Went during a very very quiet time of 4:30pm. So food came quite quickly. Place was clean and food was not bad. The wedges were very very crispy which I loved. Definitely one of the better wedges I've had. Pasta was pretty standard nothing special. Pleasantly surprised at the size of their entrée. Salad had some nicely cooked pumpkin and dressing.

We booked ahead in advance and thankfully we did! The place was pretty busy and if we hadn’t of booked we may of had to wait a while. Great food, great service!

When I heard you’ve added a vegan menu I had to come check it out! Absolutely amazed by the food and the service was so friendly. A vegan mushroom fettuccine would be awesome if you’re looking to expand the vegan menu!!

The food was delicious.<br/>The customer service from the Waiters was excellent, however while paying for our food there was a misunderstanding with the Manager on duty with how Zomato Gold works and it took a while before an agreed amount was set and paid for.<br/>Glad it was sorted.

Went here on 13/04/2019 for dinner. Haven't been here for about 5 years.. Decided to go again. Got put at a tiny table, could not fit what we had ordered on it. Yes, other tables were available we found out later, we were just not allowed to sit there, they were not reserved. Ordered Wedges, the aroma of them was like burnt oil and tasted like it as well. We ordered chicken and cranberry pizza and fettuccine carbonara. The pizza was totally undercooked the dough was so soggy the ingredients were falling off. My partner ate 2 pieces took the rest home and recooked it... Wow what a difference, it was like a real 🍕 pizza. The fettuccine was OK.. But way too much bacon 🥓 it was all you could eventually taste. The staff were great.. Just not the food. So won't be going here again Gradi Pizza would of been 100 times better and cheaper.

Haven't been to La Porchetta in years and they haven't changed much but this visit was a little dissapointing on the service side. We got served by a Trainee and she had great manners and a beautiful smile but she forgot to put our order through the system and 40 mins later we asked her to check on our order as our kids were getting hungry and impatient. She said oh sorry and if it was her who we ordered from. We got seated around 5:10pm and there weren't much customers there so I'm not sure how can she forget. Even if she did I saw other waiters looking at us on an empty table a few times but didn't check to see what was wrong until we asked. I thought a supervisor would be more attentive. Well she then said if we want some chips or wedges first while we wait and we thought okay if it's complimentary as we were all hungry. She quickly then put our order through the system as the 'rush order' and apologized again. We were fine and then 10 mins later we got the wedges and later our food finally arrived and it was delicious. Other wait staff and the trainee checked if our food was okay and helped us packed the left over pizza after our meal. But when we went to pay the bill they charged us the wedges and additional sauce for the salmon meal. When the trainee took our order she asked what sauce we wanted but didn't specify it was "additional sauce" the salmon came with pesto sauce already and I was fine with that on it's own. And we thought the wedges were complimentary since she stuffed up our order and we didn't request and extra order of wedges she suggested it. By the time the food arrived it was 6:20pm already so we waited over an hour for our food. I never waited over an hour to eat at La Porchetta before. Anyways the manager was nice enough not charge us the wedges and sauce in the end. I hope the trainee improves over time.<br/><br/>Food 5/5<br/>Service 3/5<br/>Ambience 4/5<br/>

They don’t serve an Italian dish but junk food served like an Italian while they charge almost normal Italians restaurant price. Carbonara was awful just. No freshness in pasta. It’s like boiled long time ago and just microwaved them. Sauce is so thick and cheesy just to hide this cheap pasta. Italian pizza was not tasty at all some part has too much olives while other part didn’t have much. I can see it was made without care. Far better go to Papaghetti just 3mins away from this place than coming back here. Will never come back

We booked in advance as per zomato suggestion. Parking on site although shared with our businesses in the area. Lots of indoor seating and different table arrangements to cater from couples to groups. We had a booth.<br/><br/>Seated promptly, friendly customer service. Not in your face we had ample time to place order. Food was delicious. Cheesy Garlic bread for entree. Mains were Fettuccine Alfredo and Steak with chips and salad. The steak was quite big. Didn't finish it all. Had a really nice sauce with it but don't remember what it was called.<br/><br/>We come here a couple of times a year and never have any complaints. We will come back here again.

This restaurant is amazing if you have a large group as you can order a bunch of pizzas and share them all. Our favourite was the chicken and mushroom pizza, seafood pasta and the classic Margherita. The bill only came to about $14 per person and we were super full.

Food was okay. For me and my partner, we think the food lacked a bit of flavour but it wasn’t that bad. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ambience was good and the place has a big carpark which was convenient.

This place is awesome, after being let down by uber eats these guys went the extra mile and delivered my food themselves even though this is not part of their jobs! 5⭐ all the way for customer service and the food is awesome too, always fresh, hot and delicious 😊

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. We had the broccoli spaghetti and the chicken parmigiana .  Both dishes were cooked well, were presented quickly and the vegetable sides were steaming hot ! The portions were generous and we both took half of each meal home - the lovely wait staff  do the transfer to the takeaway containers  for you. Great value for money and an ideal setting for large groups.

Super friendly staff where nothing’s too much trouble. Everything made fresh and from scratch. Head Chef is a great guy and super talented. Shows that simple food done well is amazing. Keep up the great work.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Food was cold, pasta chewy and garlic bread over cooked. Does not cater to allergies. My little girl had a kids meal $13.50 this included icecream. She is severely allergic to dairy so I asked if they could swap for a sorbet. I was told there was no flexibility with the set menu and was charged $17 for her meal in total for having to have the sorbet. Very rude manager and staff. Most disappointing will not be returning here.

Fast service, even when it’s really busy. I got the spaghetti with just a tomato sauce, I thought it was a good size and the tomato sauce had a really nice flavour to it.

Tried Fettucine Carbonara pasta and Classic Chicken pizza. Carbonara was a bit highly-seasoned but the sauce was nice and cheesy & creamy. Wish the portion size was a little bigger too. Pizza was quite nice though.

Good value for money and definitely a family restaurant. They have a lot of different variety for food and drinks. Staff are attentive and friendly.

The creamy mushroom and bacon pasta (basically a Carbonara) is pretty average! It taste like something you could buy out of a jar at the supermarket. It was also very salty.

La porchetta deserts were average I guess. Had the chocolate mousse and had a taste of the tiramisu, honestly I think they could go a bit easy with the coffee. It was over powering and the amount of cream was not helping. The mousse need less cocoa powder or at least be whipped properly,  still can taste that powder like when you open the box directly

Very disappointed with this place. We were told it would be great but honestly it was a let down. First off we ordered drinks and the were forgotten. Second my meal was not correct nor was it really edible. The schnitzel was very hard and over cooked. Lastly 2 members of our group's food was forgotten. By the time they finally got their food we had almost finished ours. It was quite busy so i can understand some things but having worked in hospitality for many years forgetting food and drinks orders is not acceptable. We will not be returning.

I work in the food industry as a manager, so writing a complaint is honestly upsetting for me to do as i know the pain of working in a restaurant and that i know it is hard but honestly tonight was a very upsetting for me and my family.<br/>We came in tonight for mothers day, and we understood it was busy. We tried making a booking in advance but however was refused the right to do so. We were made to wait half an hour for a table where they refused to put down our name and number so we were forced to wait outside the restaurant in the cold. When we finally made it inside we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to take our order we continuously put up our hands but were ignored. We only had a poor worker who was on training take notice. We had no apology when someone eventually came to take our order on the wait as it was very obvious we were upset. Our food took about 45 minutes to finally arrive, we had no warning on the wait and no apology on the wait time. the food also was sadly average ive came to this restaurant many times before as im a local and honestly im disappointed. As a manager i actually find this unprofessional as the customers happiness should ALWAYS come first we were clearly heard by workers that we were upset and they took no notice of it and ignored us. The manager should take responsibility and someone should of atleast been sent over to explain the situation and apoloigise. Also in the end my little brother who ordered the kids meal never recieved his ice cream and was no still forced to pay the full amount.<br/>honestly disapointed by the customer survice on busy nights that is what SHOULD be the main focus so people could understand the situation as a manager i understand the situation and could explain it to my family but still unfair and very unprofessional.

I think this is one of the good and reasonable Italian restaurants in Auckland. I visit it pretty often so I can tell you that the quality of food is on point and the service is quite good. The pizzas are alright but I really like the pastas and appetizers. So, if you are fond of Italian cuisine and are looking for a restaurant with decent pricing and nice food, this is the right place for you!!

This place is somewhere to go on the lazy nights off when your to tied to cook, but only once in a while. The food isn’t great the potion sizes are ok but way pricey for simple meals. I ordered from the pasta menu E. Fettuccine Pollo e Funghi honestly didn’t do much for me was bland so disappointing when you receive food that is tasteless, boring ultimately just no wow factor, seriously gutted as I paid almost $20 for a pasta I could of easily brought a $2 pack from paknsave & been satisfied. <br/>La Porchetta Lincoln Road seriously need to step your game up.

Had a lovely quick meal in and out , found that the portions are reasonable size maybe a bit to large, had the ceasor salad with chicken , chicken turned to be quite dry and tough. The drinks were slow but we’re tasty.

Had dinner here last night and was very happy with the quality of the food now...a huge improvement to past experience. The waitress and waiters were great, very efficient and friendly. Recommended once again and will now return for future meals.

Great, food, staff, and ambiance. The steak and cheese plate were my favorite things we ordered. They also brought out a complimentary round of champagne, which was a nice touch. We really loved our meal here.

Service was amazing, allowing us the perfect amount of time to decide what dish to get. Food was wonderful 👌, I got the sea food chowder, which wasn't too creamy. Atmosphere was good too

All the comments were on point. This place is way overpriced for the quality of their food. <br/>Squid rings appetiser - the only thing I liked was the dressing on the lettuce. The crumbs were weird and unsalted. The squid was actually bland like it had been frozen.<br/>Chicken and beef parmigiana- soggy and bland. It tasted like the sauce and cheese were thrown on the meat then microwaved. I only enjoyed the veges as it was the only thing that had taste. <br/>We also had a chicken pizza which was pretty average. They didn’t have anything for kids to keep them occupied apart from a kids pack which included colouring stuff but you had to pay extra for. The staff were friendly though which is good. <br/>I won’t be coming back here though costed $90 all up.

Great ambiance, lots to choose from, and the food is cooked well! Definitely recommend the chicken and avo pasta, so good! For a chain restaurant, it was pretty good!

Visited this place for quite a few times over the past years. The staffs there are always friendly and the food quality is good, similar to the Parnell branch I used to go in the past.

Good service and atmosphere ok.  Food is average and prices reasonable.  Dont visit here often but this restaurant is cool to visit randomly.  They provide activities for kids eg drawing, colouring so child friendly and good range of food.

Came on a Friday night, it was extremely busy. This is a good sign but with my large company I couldn't hear much except for the person right next to me, so I suppose seating wasn't as private and secluded as i would have liked. <br/>This in mind atmosphere wasn't too amazing, big venue so lots of seating but you don't come here for an amazing vibe. <br/>Food fairly bland and boring, not very impressive at all especially for the price of it. Service is fine. <br/>Would not come again, I suppose I am hard to please as I do like having an amazing experience in every aspect. <br/>I would just recommend this place to large families wanting to not spend heaps and eat out and have a filling meal together. Don't come here expecting much though, I would say the pizza is your best bet.

My best friend, her little son  and I went there for a late lunch on Lincoln Rd,, been seated straight away as it was not busy that time,, the waitress by the name of Jazz was not friendly and spoke really fast it was not easy to understand her when she repeated our order back,, she forgot to bring us water the second time around so I went to the bar and ask for it again she looked annoyed by it,, <br/><br/>We have ordered 2xpizzas, 1x pasta and bowl of fries,, when the fries arrived at last they were not fresh, they were cold without flavour, so I went back to the front bar again and told them that they are not fresh,  no apology was made just  asked if I wanted a new ones, ofcourse I do! <br/><br/>The manager was nice to us after that and made sure we are ok with everything, that was really good of him!<br/><br/>After we were done, my best friend wanted to buy her son one scoop of icecream  and the cashier asked her what flavour of icecream, and we told him to come to the ice cream bar as there were no labels of description!<br/><br/>We finally left and I don't think we will be comming back for more as the atmosphere was kinda dead there, food very average for their prices and not friendly service as what you expect and pay for too,, sorry,, just being honest,,,

Restaurant is clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and get you seated fairly quickly. The food is good as well however ordered a steak once and that wasn't so great but the pasta dishes are always spot on.

So keep your expectations in check, and definitely don't come here for a first date. <br/><br/>We arrived at 8.30 on a Friday night and the restaurant was packed. Service remained great in spite of this, and kept us happy as we waited for our table. <br/><br/>My fiance and I went straight to mains. I ordered spaghetti bolognese, she ordered porterhouse steak. <br/>We waited about 40 minutes for our food which disappointing. <br/><br/>My spaghetti bolognese was very nice, the pasta-to-sauce ratio was spot on, and the bolognese carried plenty of its signature tomato flavoring. <br/><br/>The steak was disappointing, thankfully it wasn't me who ordered it. It tasted like it's been frozen since 2014, about the same time they picked the potatoes they mashed alongside it. <br/><br/>I'll likely come back to La Porchetta within the next 2 years, as I would probably forget how overpriced it is by then.

Always a good meal at Henderson La Porchetta's!  Been going to La Porchetta's for years now, and Henderson does what we expect.  Service friendly, and attentive enough. We always order a pizza, past and salad.  We love the cheese ripiena with proscuitto, which is super yum,  A side salad and some pasta, and the family is happy.  Today's meal for a family of 4 of us was $55.  We didn't order drinks.  Good value.

Worst La Porchetta I've purchased food from, my girlfriends meal was almost inedible and foul, she ordered a rice risotto which had an undertone of something strange and I couldn't eat more than a fork full, my arrancini balls were okay but nothing to rave about all the food is very mediocre and overpriced for the quality had no problem with the staff and the atmosphere was dead, along with the taste in the food, the pizza I've had from here was also tasteless and gross, a freezer pizza would have been better!

You can't go wrong with this place with predominantly Italian food but the steaks are always great. The family friendly environment is what makes it special. The Henderson team is amazing and always found the Manager and his staff amazingly courteous and efficient.

I have been here once, Great food, good value for your buck but most of all, the service was great, no sorry excellent made our entire night, The Lady that served us " Neta " Was the host with the most Her hospitality skills were over and above. That Lady should be commended, Thanx Guys AAA+++

This is the second La Porchetta I've been to, the first one was in Hobson St. The pizza I bought from the Henderson takeaway was the meat lovers. So much meat and flavour, I almost finished the whole thing.<br/><br/>The service was really friendly, smiles all around. Just like the one in the city. The cooking time is what I expected it be; not too long and not too quick.<br/><br/>The space is quite new, the seats are comfy and the area is pretty clean. Feels like dining at a fancy pizza restaurant.

Whenever we try this place its terrible! The chips were just soaked in oil, the pizza was soggy and just absolutely no care when sending food out. <br/>The service has always been quite good tho so hopefully they can pick thier game up as me kids love the place????

A very busy night and still managed to deliver exceptional service. The waitress I had tonight was Zara who was friendly and patient. I ordered two large pizzas, chilli chicken and meat lovers, both of which came out of the kitchen 8 minutes after placing the order. The food tasted good, though the meat lovers was a tad bland. The only minor problems I had were that the pizzas weren't sliced well enough and my spider drink was placed too roughly on the table that it spilled quite a bit, but this was by another waitress. You'll see me dining there again.

December 2016Casual dining, staff were attentive, with a great selection on the menu.I had prawn & zucchini pasta - whilst lovely, I was glad they brought me chillie and Parmesan to add, was disappointed there was only 3 prawns and the zucchini was finely diced.We shared a Calamari salad - nice enough.He had chicken fettuccine which was apparently nice.Clean ! Tidy ! Attentive but not intrusive staff.Will dine again.

Came here for lunch for the first time and it wasn't too busy, food came fast and service was great. The wedges were lovely crunchy with good slab os sour creams and sweet chilli in a separate small dip bowl. Pizza was ok as I found it kinda cold and not warm enough. The toppings were nice but due to the lack of warmth from the pizza it was hard to cut as well. <br/><br/>Also ordered a lemon lime butter and iced coffee which was ok. Lots of cream and in a large cup. Overall a good experience just need to heat the pizza a bit better.

I probably wouldn't go there as i didn't really enjoy the food. Personally I thought the food was too expensive for the quality and quantity.

We come here mostly for casual dining and if we crave Italian food but don't want to travel too far as we live around the area. Service is great staff very friendly and prompt. Food can be better especially their steak (over cooked) and chicken parmigiana (over cooked and slightly dry) however their pasta and pizza are great. Really good value for pasta and pizza dishes I am not sure about the rest. Will be back because I love their salmon carbonara!

So it used to be good but now very disappointed now! i went with my kids ordered pizza it was not even cut propably then we tried to eat it it was just fat ham hardly any cheese or mushroom. We were still eating and the waitress took our pizza and asked if i want it takeaway haha ridiculous!! Second time I was standing there waiting for a table for ages they saw me didn't even say will be with you soon nothing so I just left <br/>Will not be coming back there again <br/>

Had lunch here, was a quiet day so got seated easily enough. Ordered Squid for entree - wouldn't recommend, won't get it again for $15 it was a rip off. Main was a porterhouse steak which was ordered medium. This was beautiful & the accompanying veges & mashed potatoes with mushroom sauce 👌🏽 would recommend this meal & would have this again. Service was good, staff were here friendly & attentive. Would return again for the steak alone. Best steak I have had in awhile.

Ordered fettuccini carbonara and chicken cranberry pizza. Both costs $19each for a main size and large pizza. <br/><br/>Portion is too small for a main (esp italian restaurant) and carbonara sauce was just ok.<br/><br/>Pizza is bland, this is my first time adding salt on a pizza, size is really small for a large.

When we walked in I automatically could tell it was larger families and couples who looked like they were on their Tinder date.<br/><br/>Positives: Caters to large families. Dessert was good.<br/><br/>Negatives:<br/>Just add water mashed potatoes, rubbery overcooked scallops with the orange roe attached, frozen seafood, and below average service.<br/><br/>Our little family which includes a toddler were seated next to an elderly couple who were obviously enjoying their privacy when there were other seating options. Waited 1/2 an hour just for our two large glasses off cokes which we found quite ridiculous but they were quite busy that night so we had to give a friendly reminder to one waitress. When asking the waitor if the mashed potatoes were real potatoes we got a "Yes" answer which is quite ridiculous because he knew himself.<br/><br/>Summary: To be honest i find the food undervalued for the money we paid ($120). We could of went elsewhere for the same price for top notch restuarant quality. When we paid the family before us made a complaint about their food also. We've went to the New Lynn La Porchetta and find their service there is much better. In saying that Dessert made up for what could've been a complete disaster.<br/><br/>Verdict:<br/><br/>Would i come back? <br/><br/>No, I would rather go to Settebello New Lynn or Sal Rose Mt Albert for Italian cuisine.

I had a bad experience here but am happy to say the manager addressed the problems with staff I am  satisfied that service will be better next time I dine. This rating is for the customer after-service extended by the manager. I will post again after my next visit.

Have been to several La Porchetta in serveral locations but my first time to their Henderson reataurant. <br/>The restaurant was clean and pleasant but was really crowded.  Had to wait for our table.  But the service was good.  Matthew and Eby were really attentive and friendly.  The food was tasty and of good quality.  It would be a good place for a group or family gathering.  Love their dessert too.  Give it a try if you intend to dine at La Porchetta, I mean the La Porchetta, Henderson.

I've been here quite a few times. This place is a family favourite and the location is convenient for us too. Tonight, my partner and I made a spontaneous trip there again. We arrived around 5.10pm and apart from an elderly couple who were there before us, we were the only ones there. We were seated immediately and another waitress brought over water to the table within minutes. Only drink we ordered was a mango frappe and when it arrived, we ordered food. My partner asked for the rib eye with mushroom sauce, chips and mash. I got chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce, chips and veggies. The waiting time for the food took a good 40-50 minutes. I also noticed that more diners were entering the restaurant and their orders were being served before ours which was quite disappointing too. The food itself was presented well and the portion was generous. As always, the food was seasoned and cooked well. Only downside was the schnitzel being too oily for me. Overall, this is a great family restaurant. Ambience is great, staff are lovely, it was just a shame that tonight's experience was ruined by waiting time.

We arrived at 8pm on a Wednesday night. Pretty late so we assumed no booking required. Sure enough, they were happy to take us. It wasn't too busy but it was clear they might have been a few hours ago as there were a few tables that were yet to be cleared. The atmosphere is very "family" appropriate. Not really the kind of place you'd go for privacy although they do offer booths. We had water bought to us 10 mins after being seated, at which time we ordered. The lot pizza (no anchovies or olives) large, the focaccia with cheese (medium), and a pollo e funghi (main) which came out within the next 15mins. So overall fast service. The meals were massive! We ordered waaaay too much between the two of us but they do takeaway. The waiter wasn't too bad, didn't make any conversation but sometimes that can be a good thing. The food: nothing to write home about. Not authentic, but tasty none the less. The foccacia cheese was yummy and would have been 10/10 with oregano. The pasta wasn't creamy enough, as though it had been watered down and the chicken not tender. Still, an honest attempt. The pizza base was nice and fresh however the toppings kept falling off as we tried to eat it. Not the best pizza but not completely wrong. I feel like if you haven't tried any other Italian food before you'll think this place is a treat. All in all a pleasant night but nothing to rave about. <br/>

Went there with my family. Ordered chicken parmi, procutto wrapped chicken breast and beef schnitzel. All of it tasted like shit! They have saved that stuff in the fridge for AT LEAST 3 days, microwaved it and slopped it on the plates. Then when we complained to the cashier, the bill came to $100.20, my partner handed her a $100 and said "that's enough" she got the guts to actually want us to break another $100 for her to give them that 20c.......NO FREAKEN WAY LADY! It's enough that we had to pay full price for meals we did not enjoy. Absolute rude and unacceptable behaviour! Customer service 0.

Great family restaurant. We had to host family friends from overseas on short notice. After considering all of our options for dinner in West Auckland, La Porchetta seemed like the best place for menu range, pricing, serving sizes, and seating availability. We ordered: wedges, garlic bread, original porchetta pizza, ceasar salad, smoked fish salad, carbonara fettucini, and pesto gnocchi between five adults and we were stuffed afterwards. Good value for money, especially if you're sharing. The quantities are generous. Loved our pasta - be aware that the cream based sauces can get quite rich if you're going to eat a whole large-sized serving to yourself. Wedges, as suggested by our friendly waiter, was a great choice for a starter. The coating was extra crispy and it came with sweet chilli and sour cream. Salads were enjoyed by the men who ordered them on our table - the only complaint being that there could have been more slithers of smoked salmon. <br/><br/>Overall, we had a very good experience. The food quality and how cheap the meal came to was much better than I had expected. Most importantly, our guests loved it. Thumbs up to the team at La Porchetta for your great hospitality.

I got a seafood pasta made with a frozen marinara mix, dried pasta and garlic from a jar. If only they'd consider fresh garlic and a few fresh pieces of seafood - real shame. Better to get something cheaper for dinner and save your eating out money for something more memorable :-/

This place is always full. Quick and efficient service. Food is consistent. Great value for money. The pizzas are better than some more expensive establishments and the serving sizes are huge.

The best La Prochetta branch in Auckland, service is good and very clean restaurant. Food quality is very impressive. I have tried a few dishes in Henderson branch other branch and by far Henderson one is the best.

My daughter and her friends from UNITEC ate at this venue last night as it was their friends birthday The staff were rude and the food disgusting. The spaghetti Bolognaise had a metalic taste, the pizza was cold and appeared to be stale and dried out, The flavour was overpowering and quite nasty. The Tortellini had far too much Parmesan cheese and was unpalatable . There were five at the table  and the waitress brought out the cutlery and dumped it on the table. She said "I don't know how many there are of you," and put enough cutlery on the table for 10 people. <br/>They were offered a $5 discount across the group of six when they complained .<br/>I would never eat at this restaurant again as I have previously had a very sinewy steak and after letting the manager know the food was actually inedible, the manager emailed me 4 times asking different questions, but no apology.

This La Porchetta is our local branch so I've been here countless times. The quality of service does depend on who is working and when they're busy, it's quite hard to call over a waiter/waitress. <br/><br/>The food here is quite decent though! Though I've tried a few, I usually get the same pasta (penne alla matriciana) because I love the tomato and basil sauce and the chilli as well! I usually get it with tortellini which is one of my fave pastas! Also gotten the salt and pepper squid which was nice, I just wish the portion was bigger haha! <br/><br/>I will come back because it's so close and it has decent pasta! :)

Have been a few times now. Waitress during day times has excellent customer service. Makes sure our needs are fulfilled. Wait time for food is reasonable as it is pasta related so cannot rush this. Quality of food is excellent, cooked very well and seasoned to taste. Definitely will be returning.

Food is o.k. but ordered garlic bread as a starter & they never brought it out. We asked them 3 times for it & they kept saying it's coming. We canceled the bread 1/2 way through the meal. Staff couldn't care less. Shit attitude for a Italian restaurant. <br/>

Had dinner here a few days ago. One of the mains ordered was very hot and there was no mention of this on the menu. We ordered pizza for the kids however the staff was more interested in pushing the special for the night which is great but not what we were after. Not a place we would visit again

Family dining at its worst. The noise is horrendous and the service is the same. We came in here yesterday, there was a head count of 12 other customers. Not that many to justify why we waited half an hour for two beers. The staff obviously had their hands full stacking clean dishes rather than serve patrons. We left as no one brought drinks at all or bothered taking our order. Staff are incompetent

Went here with my husband and another couple of friends. Was great service with happy friendly and efficient staff. Food was fricken magic and the large pizza was massive, we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Had good privacy to talk in the booths, didnt feel like we were sittin on top of anyone. Just a great night, satisfied as!

Nice Relaxed family friendly restaurant environment, Food is presented and tastes good. Just the waiting times in-between each course is a bit to long for liking.

Staff: 99% of the time very welcoming. They usually know all the specials and are always prompt with checking how our meals are going along with constantly topping up water/drinks.<br/><br/>Food: I always end going 1/2s or 1/3s on the Foccacia with Cheese, and getting a main size Spaghetti Napoletana (just classic pasta sauce in picture below) Always comes out piping hot, filling and price is perfect. Can have a beer and a full meal and pay around $25-$30<br/><br/>Venue: just like any normal restaurant general seating area with FOH area. Also has booths along the walls (always prefer a booth)<br/><br/>Overall: I always have a good experience at the Henderson La Porchetta. We dine here regularly and will continue to!

Although improvements can be made in customer service and seating structure, La Porchetta Henderson is probably the best branch in Auckland. WIthout a doubt, it is the best value for money when it comes to pizzas. The original porchetta is good (pizza) along with their gourmet pizzas. The carbonara is quite good in pastas aswell although can be a bit greasy at times. The steaks and seafood is generously portioned although the quality of the steak isnt the best. I also dont know why the drinks are so expensive in la porchetta...Could improve for sure. In general, a good eat out spot for a simple and cruisy family dinner.

Ordered Pollo e avocado and the Meatlovers pizza with sides & desert. Food and service were amazing as per usual but the time waits are excruciatingly lengthy. Seems like other reviewers feel the same way. Good thing is - it's worth the wait.

Amazing. Food was decent. The chicken parmesan was really nice. I had the steak which was cooked the way I wanted. Next time I'll get the mashed spuds as they tasted quite nice.

Food is nice and tasty, restaurant is clean and staff friendly but the layout makes it really noisy - I often leave with a headache. If your wanting a quiet intimate date this is not the place for you

First time there it was alright, food was fine but staff wasn't as friendly as I hoped as the male waiter proved to be a bit rude, the next couple of times I would takeaway food from there which the food was fine, and just recently I had dinner there and the staffs are much more friendlier now (basing my experiences on the 2 times I ate there). For the food it depends on what your are having, their food is decently good, pasta, pizza and meats are nice, their wedges are good too. But I recently tried their fettucini carbonara which the pasta was still a bit hard due to being undercooked, and the taste was a boring which is why I would suggest going for the smaller portion or share it with a buddy as the large could be too boring to eat by it self.

I really love the Chicken pizza here! Definitely worth the price. Some of the staff there aren't super friendly but that is easy to combat for the sake of their pizza.

Disappointed with our meal, we had a chicken pizza, seafood marinara and garlic bread. Just tasted like cheap crap too be honest. <br/>Better off going to Domino's and spending half the price than wasting money on this. Not only that Domino's food is alot tastier. <br/>Won't be back anytime soon.

our Experience at La Porchetta Henderson have been good, the Food is good although I always seem to be adding salt to my pasta/risotto, I love the chicken & mushroom risotto though its one of the best I have had. service is always nice but food can take a while to get out. its clean, and well lit, and in a great location.

Got a takeaway Salmon main with veges and mashed potato. Got to say the salmon was not good at all. Have had salmon way better than this and for cheaper. Best part was the veges!

Was introduced by a family member that took me here for lunch and must say I have enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

We went to La Porchetta for my birthday. I made a booking which was confirmed the day of our meal and the staff were friendly on the phone. When we arrived, we were asked to take a seat without being asked if we had a booking. I informed the staff that we did have a booking but no one seemed too concerned with this until one waitress asked if it was just a table for two and I had to explain again that we had a table for 7. It was a little frustrating explaining a few times. <br/>We were seated in a booth which was nice and the staff gave us enough time and room to make a decision. We ordered chips for the table which we waited and I have to say that they were really good and were served with a garlic aioli which was tasty. <br/>I ordered the tortellini carbonara. You get to pick your sauce and your pasta individually so you can make your own meal. There is also the option of gluten free pasta which one member of our party said was really good and you could barely notice the different from normal pasta. <br/>My dish was good for the price. It wasn't mind blowing and I probably wouldn't go to La Porchetta specially for that meal but it was hot when it was served and there was a decent amount of bacon in a creamy, cheesy sauce. The pasta was also cooked well, not too crunchy or soft. <br/><br/>I have to say that I did feel a bit rushed by the staff towards the end. The restaurant must close fairly early (something I think they should mention when you make your booking) because the staff offered the bill or dessert as they were clearing our table. Normally I would have ordered a dessert and I wanted to have another drink with my friends but unfortunately the atmosphere wasn't an encouraging one so we paid the bill and left. <br/>For a Friday night I think the restaurant could have let us be for a little while longer. Most people had cleared out so no one was waiting for tables and they probably would have got another $100 to $200 out of us that night. This was a disappointing end to an average meal.

Came here for a friends birthday dinner. It's was a Friday night and is was loud and busy.<br/><br/>The overall feel of the restaurant was busy, and while we were in our own bubble it definitely had a more family restaurant feel than the other La Porchetta restaurants in Auckland. <br/><br/>The food came out fairly quickly for how busy it was and it lived up to the La Porchetta name. The meal sizes (compared to the other ones in Auckland) are definitely smaller.<br/><br/>While I enjoyed my meal and the food was tasty, I probably wouldn't go back to this particular la porchetta as the other ones in Auckland are much nicer (atmosphere wise - and don't close at 9pm on a Friday evening. The staff made us feel a bit rushed to get out as well prior to closing time.

Tried the one in Parnell so thought I would try another branch. Again I enjoyed my meal, the service was freindly and efficient. Left there overflowing and spent a mere $40.00 for 2 of us. Cant' fault that. Tried a raspberry and white chocolate calzone for dessert. OMG. I will be back, for the calzone over and over again.

My husband and were so disappointed . We went to la porchetta last night. I had lasagne which was Luke warm with chunks of mince and my husband had tbone steak medium. It came out not medium or even rare but raw With blood oozing out. We just wanted to get out of there. The waitress asked how we enjoyed our meal and I told her the meat was raw. She just laughed and asked if we wanted desert. We haven't had a night out in ages due to having kids and it really put a damper on things .<br/>I will not go there again and wil be telling people about this horrible experience. Also it's so cramped in there that you have to walk side ways between tables. Shocking

I have been here quite a few times but I do have to say it did start to lack about 18 months - two years ago . Last week we went back and I have to say it was back to it's old self. Staff have always been great and this time was no different and the pizza, pasta &amp; Seafood basket were fresh and tasty. My kids are fussy eater's but they finished their plates. Will be going back more often again.

We were in the area and popped in for a meal. We were warmly greeted by our host. The restaurant was nice and clean. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was exceptional value for the price. We all left happy and full. Would happily return.

First and last time there. My party of 3 ordered garlic bread and prawn entree which were quickly served and nice. An hour later I had to ask where our 3 pastas were. The 2 people next to us arrived after us and had pizza pasta and left before we ate and the party of 9 who were seated after us were already eating. Pastas were bland lacking any seasoning and one had an avocado stalk in it. The wait staff were very apologetic and the restaurant did not charge us for the pasta. The topping was the smug till boy who felt the need to comment twice "does waiting an hour change the flavour of the food".

Great value for your money. La Porchetta is not a restaurant to have a nice enjoyable and romantic night, it's more like a Italian fast food. Prices are much cheaper compared to a nice Italian restaurant and that's one of the reasons we love it. We have been there many times, love the pastas and the pizzas. Our favorite pizza is the Prosciutto Calzone, it's to die for, most of the times we take away but sometimes we eat there.<br/>The only bad thing about this place is the noisy but again, it's more like a fast food place than a romantic restaurant. Love it!!!

I have been twice and am quite disappointed. Both times I had steak, hubby had dry overcooked fish and the kids fish and chicken strip meals were tiny. Meals are on par with what I would cook at home. I feel I didn't get a good meal for my $$. I was really blown away by how noisy the place is. Imagine a small pub during the rugby world cup. Cannot hear conversation at own table. They desperately need to raise the ceiling height. The waiter I had was great but the kitchen staff got a few details wrong on the orders. Also, on the 1st visit the plates and cutlery were greasy. As much as I want to praise this restaurant, I just can't. I sadly will not be visiting again.

One of my favourites. Never left there hungry or unhappy. So full, so cheap and great service. Love love love this place

Please, please, please - if you either know an Italian, are an Italian, have been to Italy, have heard of Italy or have seen a place that looks like Italy in a film - DO NOT offend the artisan nature of the countries people or cuisine by eating at this pizza chain.<br/><br/>Pizza with Italian sausage should not look or taste like cat food.<br/><br/>Pasta should not be stuck together in a mess.<br/><br/>This food has no soul and this is clearly reflected in the taste.<br/><br/>PS: This is my very first restaurant review, ever.

This place used to be alright but lately it's rubbish. Go to pizza hut down the road or make your own pizza with ingredients from pak n save, it will be a better experience.<br/><br/>WARNING avoid this disaster on a plate.<br/><br/>I begrudgingly have to give it 1 star to post this review, it deserves none.

The first time I went I was not impressed, but just put it down to bad meal choice, I got the fish, it was obviously pre frozen, maybe for sometime, was tasteless and dry, went again last night, bad move, I got a steak, was huge smoothing a few fries that were soggy by the time I got it. Steak was of an impressive size but poor quality, tough and tasteless. They'd be better having smaller size and better quality steak, very disappointed and will not be going back. I don't feel it was a cheap meal for us, so not a case of getting what you pay for, we paid good money so expected an OK meal.

I had two different experiences. The fist was a wow moment with the most delicious pizza I've ever had in my 40 years on planet earth. Great service and I thought to myself, "I can never buy Domino's again".<br/>The second experience: the restaurant was full. Service was slower. Pizza wasn't as tasty as my first experience and I'll put that down to managing a larger crowd. Service and food is sped up in order to accommodate the masses but I would like to have had the same quality of food that we received on not such a busy night.

Yum yum yum! Come here every pay day just to get one of those amazing Focaccia Ripiena Prosciutto Crudo pizzas! OMG SOOO GOOD! Wouldnt usually spend $18 on 1 pizza but this one is deff worth it! Staff are always polite and smiling and the place is always full. Love it!!

I've eaten at La Porchetta on Lincoln Rd twice in the last 3 weeks and I have been really impressed with the food and service. The pizza's are really tasty and cheap and I've also had the beef schnitzel which was delicious. The prices are really reasonable and for 5 large pizzas, 2 bowls of chips and drinks for 2 adults and 5 teenagers, the bill only came to $80. The service has also been very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return.

Had a family lunch there recently. This review is for the Bruchetta at $11.60. It pretends to be a Bruchetta. What we got was a small pizza base with 9 small diced tomato pieces and 25 one cm square red onion and a few bits of basil and a lot of olive oil. Having consumed many pizza based Bruchetta. The definition of Bruchetta is a topping of chopped tomato, hey not 9 small bits. The staff were very helpful and gave us a free take out but stated the company policy that a good dollop of tomato pieces is not happening any time soon. So Bruchetta lovers take you own tin of diced tomatoes with your if dinning at La Porchetta

I love La Porchetta, its Delicious, affordable &amp; comfortable. Its great to take the kids and the staff are friendly. I love the Grilled Chicken Salad &amp; the BBQ Chicken Pizza is great! You can get a generous sized main for $10-$15, the entree size of each meal is more than enough for me though!The fries are the best iv ever tasted &amp; they give extra aoli free of charge :) They are BYO too which is fab! <br/><br/>There is an outside area with tables &amp; smoking. Recommend to those who don't like too dine too fancy and who are looking for somewhere that won't break the bank! :)<br/>Stevie S

I love La Porchetta and have just booked a table for myself and friends for tomorrow night. I am so looking forward to it. I think it is better than "what Pizza Hutt used to be" I don't think they are trying to be Pizza Hutt at all, the menu is far more extensive. I agree with the other positive reviews that the price is right, the meal portions are good value for money, you will not come out hungry that is for sure. If you can possibly squeeze it in you should have a dessert they are all divine. But yes you must book they are often busy. I went there on a standard Tuesday night to find them packed, luckily they squeezed in our party of 6 but it was probably the last table available. I think their popularity shows they must be doing something right. When they are so busy I think it is only fair to expect a wait. But our meals all came at the same time, piping hot and no skimping on quality. I'm counting down now ... 23hrs to go my mouth won't stop watering!!

For me it's like a fast-food restaruant dressed up a bit and trying to be what Pizza Hut used to be..but not really getting that right either. I've had the spaghetti bolognaise and the pizza and while they were fine, nothing special they try to rush you, it's extremely noisy and it's like you are eating in an office.

La Porchetta in Henderson have friendly service &amp; have always got my order perfect! Like any popular restaurant they are exceptionally busy during the peak times, however it's worth the wait! There is a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere suitable for the whole family. The pizza &amp; pasta is absolute value for money! Size, taste &amp; quality is fantastic! We frequent take away from the Henderson store and have booked a table on a few occasions and have never left feeling unhappy or ripped off as the pricing of their menu is very competitive. I highly recommend booking a table, with a licensed bar &amp; delicious food with close friends and family - you really cannot go wrong! :D<br/><br/>If your looking for a intimate restaurant - this isn't the place. When there are a lot of people dining in (which is often the case!) it gets very loud, much like any restaurant with a lot of people. They have added curtains too which was definitely needed, when the sun goes down it can hurt the eyes!

Just came home from La Porchetta Lincoln Road Henderson.<br/>1 word, Excellent. Both my wife and myself thought the food, service and the price was well worth going out on a wet and windy Auckland evening. I had read some of the reviews and was a little apprehensive but all i can say is that either those folk that were not happy struck them on a poor night or they are fussy and don't know what a family restaurant is like. We had a full meal and a bottle of house wine and were pleasantly surprised by the cost.<br/>So as far as we are concerned, as Arnie once said, WE'LL BE BACK!!!!!

LOL... This is just Pizza-hut with a different name. Pizza here is JUST like Pizza-hut but more expensive. I'm told the pasta is good, but didn't try it. Its an ok place for a quick family meal, but nothing flash. Almost didn't bother writing a review... forgettable really.

Pleasant evening. Food was good. Plenty of it. Only criticism we felt it was too noisy. Needed softer Ceiling tiles to absorb some of the noise

After having visited all the other branches of this franchise in Auckland I was really excited to learn that there was a new one opening right up the road from us. Awesome, saves the hassle of parking in town right? WRONG...I would have been better off driving to where I alteast got what I paid for. I ordered the same dish i usually do, only to find it came out half the size it does in town,or Parnell. the chicken was pretty lack lustre and the pasta, very plain. Was disappointed after suggesting the place to a family friend for lunch and having that recommendation fall flat on its a$$. Will just stick to the ones I know from now on.

went here for a family birthday. service was great but the food was, oh soooo good. not just pizza, they have pasta dishes, meat and veg dishes like weiner schnitzel. i had the schnitzel and it was divine. their deserts look ravishing but i was so full i couldnt fit one in. next time i thiknk i will skip the main and just have the desert! you gotta try la porchetta. there are other branches in auckland but i havent tried them.

not that impressed...the pizza was good, the chicken fettachini was bland and the calamari was over cooked. Dont know if I will try them again at this stage.

Everytime we have gone the food and staff have been amazing. <br/>We were offered a different table as our food didn't fit on the one we had. <br/><br/>They are affordable and very friendly and understanding. <br/>I recommend to all 5+

i dont know what some of you are saying?? this is a GREAT restaurant :D at first when they started off service was a little bit shaky but its great now since everyone is really getting used to the system!! the food is great :D we get all our food at the same time!! the staff are really friendly as well! definitely easy on the pocket and its AMAZING. go.

As me and my friends entered they were full and we had to wait. We were glad to wait because the food impressed me with its affordable price and large portions. Not only were the ingredients used in th food fresh, all our meals came out at the same time! The service was good with nice, friendly, smiley waiters/waitresses. Would definitely recommend to friends(my favourite was the chicken satay pizza).

Been to La Porchetta 5 times since they opened and always walked away satisfied. A tired old part of Lincoln Road which had its day in the early 90s has a new lease of life. The only casual dining that compares is Lone Star, similar charged atmosphere and switched on staff(who while prepared to go out of their way for awkward customers are not gimps). Reminded me of Aussie actually were business' seem to have a bit more attitude. People expect too much but lets look at the price range of average $15 meal we are doing quite well. Garlic bread was not so good, needs more garlic and crispiness.The pizza is very good, fresh and the edges are nice, no stodgey dough. The pasta I tried last night good also, although for any meal I recommend entree size for main, and there is always dessert. I wouldn't recommend the plain cheese and tomato style pizza just a bit too gluggy but load those ingredients on and the pizza is among the best in that price range(FRESH). Nice to see a restaurant with a lot of staff on too. Apart from a few minor things not relating to the food or day to day business(finish quality of building) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, if you want arty ego massage service and big tables try Parnell.

Although the food was great, the service up to a good standard and the place looking beautiful, it was not a family friendly restaurant, the table are too thin to fit the food as well as your plate and glasses, their are no changing tables in the bathroom and the music was. This may sound like little minuscule things, but when it has been advertised on t.v that it is a family environment, you come to expect that in all facets of the restaurant.

Extremely poor service, ignored by staff, only took order when complained, chips arrived promptly but waited 20 mins for food - to be told they lost our order. Did give us a coke and oj, and the 'missing pizza for free but food was appaling and no meat in the bolognase!!!!!. Would not go back and will tell all my friends not to go there either.

had a reservation for 4. when we first arrived, within a space of 20 minutes we were asked probably half a dozen times if we wanted to order - we were talking and mulling over the menu so no we weren't ready. after about half an hour we decided we would order. 2 meals came out first, about 5 minutes after those the 3rd came - but we were still waiting for the 4th meal 20 minutes after the others had been served. when the meal eventually arrived, it was returned because the 'king prawns' were shrimps and buried in a mountain of fries and salad. a replacement meal was brought out about 15 minutes later. Poor, poor service.<br/>On paying, they didn't charge for the replacement meal - all in all it was disappointing.<br/>Am trying a second time to see if it was just that night - will write again soon to let you all know :-)

I visited on my birthday with my family and it's located in the heart of west Auckland , ambience is really good and it attracts you to come again . Service is too good and can't explain how delicious the food was .<br/>Ordered pasta , pizzas and bread , just loved it and made my birthday special .

This restaurant has nearly become our go-to restaurant every week! The food there is delicious, especially their pizzas. The value we get for our money is exceptional! The atmosphere is good, but it does get quite noisy in there sometimes, when it is really busy. The waiters are very friendly and even come to check-in on your meal halfway through. <br/><br/>I have found that the waiters sometimes take a while to bring over the water, for instance.<br/><br/>Overall, great food, great friendly waiters and great value for money!
