Best bakery pies in the West, chicken rolls are mean as well and awesome service!

Been going here for many years... Perhaps 15ys. I only have one dish yaki soba as they make the best. Haven't been there in months and dissapointing to find there portion sizes are less, very little vegetables and chicken. It was not as flavoursome as it used to be either. Will have to find another place that makes yaki soba.

Great japanese food at the mall’s food court. Very well priced. Had the small bento for $13. I didnt expect to get that much food in it for that price. Bento came with a big portion of rice, tempura vege, fresh salad with lots of dressing, beef bulgogi AND chicken katsu, plus a cup of miso!! Tastes great and all freshly cooked for you as you order.

For sushi, its not the best, but its not bad either. Was actually some of the better food court sushi I've had in a while. Need to go here again as it's been a while.

Let me use my own container although kept on insisting on giving me plastic (bag, soy sauce, utensils etc bless) sushi was good although all their avocado seemed brown and the sushi wouldn’t hold together/kept falling a part. The tempura rice was yummy! Pity they only sell takeaway plastic instead or plates even when dining in!<br/>Relatively clean place with tasty sushi, just wish it wouldn’t fall a part!!

I heard about their bento boxes and just had to try for myself.. got a small bento box for $13 was sooo much food and was all sooo good! Could barely eat it all and it comes with miso soup! First time I’ve ever bought a bento box I’d actually buy again and recommend to others!

Picked up some lunch on my way through the mall. Stopped at the sushi. I know they have had some food grading issues but everything seems like in place now. It was mid afternoon so there was a decent selection of sushi up for grabs. I am not a regular sushi eater so found it a bit hard to distinguish what flavour was what as there were hardly any name tags. Other than that service was prompt and friendly.  I found the sushi here to be average, but would recommend the deep fried sushi rice. That was delicious!

An awesome sushi place located inside Westcity Mall Foodcourt. I like their customer service which was good. I even liked their sushi and wasabi.

Used to come here all the time and found the sushi cheap, but it was nothing special. It's successful because you can pack your own sushi which is probably why they just received and E RATING for food safety. This has happened a few times, whenever surprise inspections occur they fail, then they get a pass the next time after a scheduled inspection 2-3 weeks later.

It's been years since that last time I was at this Matsu, everytime I would just walk past it. Their sushis are alright, there are some in which the rice is quite dry but that doesn't bother me too much. It's pretty good, definitely a must

Okayyyyy sushi. The chicken salad is nice. Decent price too. When I am too lazy to travel out to my fav sushi store this is where I will go.

All I can say is, I brought a 6 pack of sushi from matsu sushi on Saturday around lunch time, by about 12am Sunday I felt instantly Ill, wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you wish to be admitted to hospital with a fever and uncontrollable vomiting etc, rice is a high risk food and should be kept either at a temp where bacteria doesn't grow or where it is killed off not sitting around gaining harmful bacteria!!!! If you work in hospitality I expect that you provide the best health and safety to your customers!! I would honestly rate you -5 but given I can't due to this app!! It has given you a 1.0 great work.... not....!!

Their sushi is pretty big here and you get to pick which sushi you want or you can buy pre-packed sushi. <br/><br/>We got the salmon one and that was $9 which isn't bad considering how big the sushi was. Lots of rice though. But it did taste good and was filling for like 7 pieces of sushi. Their wasabi however, was not the nice original kind. Was washed out and not "spicy". <br/><br/>Service was not that great. Poker faces. No smiles, greetings or thanks you's.

I have lunch at this place quite regularly.  I like the food.  The food is tasty.  However recently I ordered a bowl of Chicken Udon.  As usual it's tasty but after finishing I notice that the bowl colour is peeling off.  This is really not good.  It's not healthy (see photo).<br/><br/>I sent an email to Sang Kim who is a Director.  I also attach a photo of the bowl for his attention.  My intention is to advise him not to serve his customers with this type of bowls.  Unfortunately there is no response from him.  <br/><br/>I am just thinking if they can be careless in serving their customers with this type of bowls I am not so sure about their hygiene.

Pretty good for mall Japanese, got a small bento for $13 is a huge amount of food which is awesome. Lady behind desk was a bit grumpy though

Love Matsui Sushi, best sushi bar out West.<br/>Favorite is, chilli pork, tempura, onigiri and sushi. <br/>Regular place for Japanese food Keep up the great food!!<br/><br/>

Food was superb! My toddler LOVED his baby salmon avocado roll and I LOVED my nigiri too!!!

The best sushi by far!! I have been getting sushi from these guys since they first started in the mall (very long time!) Always fresh, great selection, great price, great service! Any sushi craving I have I specifically go to them cos I have never found better!

I love, love, love this place!!<br/>Just a little stall in the west city mall, that serves the best Japanese cuisine by far.<br/>My fav is the chilly pork meal, pork comes on a hot plate, bowl rice, salad with a yummy Ginger dressing, miso soup, all for $13-50.<br/>A girlfriend of mine was telling me about this dish, and now I'm Hooked on it!, we even make a weekly visit just to get our meal lol.<br/>I also love their sushi, my favs are, teriyaki chicken, salmon, crab and their onigiri is awesome too.<br/><br/>I love Matsu Sushi!!

If I’m in Henderson i feel like having sushi I would go this store get a vegetarian box or a double teriyaki chicken because I just love the taste of their sushi and the staff is so polite to explain what contains in the sushi in case of allergies. Their sushi is so yummy the vegetables taste so fresh and the wasabi is perfect for a typical Indian kid like me.<br/><br/>I would say this is one of the healthiest food I ever had and it helped me with weight loss because having eight piece of sushi really fills your stomach. I would recommend people to try it and hope you like it.
