Review Freddy's Burger & Cafe - Henderson

The burgers are quite okay and rated with 4 stars by my daughter. I had a pacific burger and it had a nice taste to it. I was missing the sparkling water option here. Customer service needs to improve on time to serving. It took quite a while for the burgers to come. And there was only an old ladey sipping tea around that hour. And my daughter asked for a non-spicy burger but it was spicy nonetheless. Suggestions such as taking off the jalapeños would have been appreciated.

Anytime I come here the most tasty food for me is fish & chip. Love this style.

I really like burgers, and Freddy's Burger & Cafe makes the best burgers I've had in New Zealand - no question. I've had maybe 5 items from the menu, everything has been excellent and the service amazing. They even do most things Gluten Free for no extra charge, so much win.

I had a tzatziki wrap and my husband had the kiwi burger and fries. Delicious food and half the price you would pay in town. Highly recommend.

A great little burger joint but my favourite is the Freddy's crush for breakfast. It's potatoes, spinach , chorizo, onion marmalade with a poached egg on top and hollandaise sauce mmmmm

Had a great vege burger. Staff were really friendly. Menu has a good range of options including gluten free and vegan

This place is the bomb. It has so many vegan options too! I just ordered a vegan burger straight to my caravan door, barley got out of bed. The world is moving forward people <3

I had the Freddys Secret Chicken Burger and it was the BOMB!! Service was awesome and food was hot and tasty. I recommend everyone to come try this little place❤💙💚💛💜

Absolutely AMAZING!! I drink espresso every day and the taste of their hand press espresso at this place is phenomenal can't wait to go back.

Best hot hot chilli chicken burger you can dine or takeaway and best part is Umba taxi delivers your orders to home.

Their chicken Caesar wrap is the best ever. So good. Staff polite.

Ordered via Zomato. We choose the equivalent of a cheeseburger combo, Gabriel burger, a pizza and a snack pack of chips with chosen sauces of hummus and mint yoghurt.<br/><br/>My husband enjoyed his combo. I liked the burger enough but the stand out for me was the snack chips. The chips were seasoned. The hummus was different from what I am used too the mint sauce was great. Definitely a fan of the chips and would reorder again. Liked the pizza base it's different.<br/><br/>Am keen to eat from here again, particularly the snack chips but would like to try some other types of pizzas.

Order Uber eats and although we were happy with the food, it was delicious we were thoroughly disappointed in the portion sizes. <br/>For the amount you pay to what you get isn't value for money especially out west when there's so many competitors.<br/>If you are ordering anything from here I'd suggest the pizzas. <br/>The pizza was good and at a good size.<br/>Pasta and sides needs work.

Freddy's has been so highly reccomended to me that I had avoided getting a burger there as I didn't want to be horribly dissapointed. However, I am very very far away from dissapointment tonight.<br/><br/>FREDDY'S IS THE BEST BURGER SHOP I HAVE BEEN TO IN A GOOD FEW YEARS! Closest thing to old school burgerfuel so huge in size and huge in flavour with expert use of spice and seasoning with a coarse ground patty left for a awesome home made feeling to the burger. Add in a genrous amount of salad, cheese and sauce and you are left totally satisfied and wishing you had ordered it the day it was recommended all that time ago.<br/><br/>Only downside delivery can take a while, but it more than makes up for it<br/>Sadly I had finished my meal before even thinking about reviews.

Honestly, I would never go here again. It was really awkward and we were the only people there. We ordered one beef burger one chicken burger and some fries. It took ages! The fries were lukewarm and the meat in both burgers was soooo dry! We also got stomachaches later in the day. Will stick to burgerfuel next time :)

Went here once. Food was ok. The major thing that was off putting was the glasses were really dirty so I didnt use them. Service was ok but yeah.. Will probably order takeaway from here only so I dont have to check for dirty cutlery or glasses etc.

Bought off uber eats the other night. <br/>Bought the farmers & Gabriel burgers, plus some mince chips. <br/>God I love the burgers from here. Huge size and filled to the brim with ingredients. 😍<br/>Also the chips were a lovely surprised, lovely use of seasoning to make it more delicious.

Service was prompt through menulog however the fries were way over cooked and not enjoyable. Chicken nuggets also very overcooked. Burgers were nice and fresh.

We ordered through Uber eats on a lazy Saturday morning after looking at the positive reviews of this place.<br/><br/>We ordered a thin crust Chicken & a Paneer Pizza.<br/><br/>The order was delivered on time - but the quality of food was very poor. The Pizza’s had so much oil that the cardboard boxes were wet, and eating the food didn’t feel right. We called to give feedback and the manager was polite and apologetic and offered us a complimentary Pizza/Burger on our next visit - but honestly waste of money and time today as we didn’t even eat 5% of the food for which we paid $50.<br/><br/><br/>

I really love the burger...really taste delicious and the onion ring is so good.<br/><br/>I definitely love this local cafe in Henderson.<br/><br/>I live in Mt Wellington and sometime is nice to drive out of your zone to find food.<br/><br/>I dont regret it with this one :)

Just fantastic, friendly staff, great value for money, bit of a wait time if it's busy, but not by much. My new regular for lunch, highly recommend the breakfast options too

First time coming to Freddy's burgers it was really good. The portions were great for the price, the burger tasted absolutely delicious and the chips were nice and crispy. Very accommodating to what we wanted and it was easily modifiable to what we wanted to eat. Thank you so much for the great service 😄

An exceptional dining experience. No reservations accepted. A modern takes on the deep flavors , set in a simple, yet stylish atmosphere that never seems crowded. A  good for small groups. While not inexpensive, it's definitely worth the wait.

Absolutely love this place! Especially their burgers and eggs bene. Can’t go wrong with this place. Though, their onion rings may need a bit more improvement as the batter falls apart but they’re still delicious. So 4 stars from me!

I ordered a hot sandwich to go from this place not to long ago. It was a simple order yet it took a while for them to make. No other customers were present and there was more than one of them in the kitchen. When I finally got what I had ordered it was a soggy mess by the time I had got back to work which was only 3 minutes away. I would not recommend this place if you are wanting food to go or are wanting something made in good time. It was a disappointing experience.

Great food, great prices, owner cares a lot and goes the extra mile to make sure customers are satisfied. Quality is extremely consistent whenever I visit. Only gripe is that the restaurant seems to close earlier than its posted hours, which sucks whenever I rock up for a good burger later in the evening.

Located at the Henderson Center, next to Westcity. It's a beautiful little cafe with everything you need for a relaxing breakfast, quick lunch or grab a bite on the go. It's a modern kitchen that offers tasty and fresh food for almost all dietary needs (I gave them extra 0.5 point for this reason for catering GF and Vegan). It offers REALLY good price for the quality of their food. I am really happy with my meals : )

Super friendly service, we ordered 2 burgers; a Hawaiian breeze and spicy vegetarian with chips and drink. The chips had nice seasonings and came with garlic aoli, the hawaian breeze burger was a very tasty chicken and pineapple burger and the spicy vegetarian was delicious too, the cheese paddy was really good. Good serving sizes and great value gor money, once we were done eating we were left wondering why it was so quiet for a Friday night, great little burger bar, we'll definately come back again some time.

Took an hour twenty to arrive when ordered via Menulog. When we called after an hour, they said they'd give us some free food to compensate, but then they didn't. <br/><br/>Burger wasn't too bad, pretty reasonably priced.

Tonight we were 'those people'. The ones that ordered late, online, without checking how close it was to closing time, the worst kind. But no matter, our dude actually ran up the path with a smile on his face regardless, super chipper, and the food was awesome. Good value for $$, super filling, and extra fancy for burgers in Henderson, A+ on crispy fries too!

We just had a pre Father's Day dinner there. The food was delicious. My very picky daughter had a kids burger but the chicken was marinated and it was not her taste. We got offered they would make a new one for her. Which was lovely but no need for it. <br/>I had the classic chicken burger which was really good. The aioli was fantastic with the chips. The staff was very friendly and the kids had a great time colouring in and hanging it up at the wall. What a great place. We will definitely be back. Thanks guys!

Had the spicy vege burger, it was a 10/10! Such good food and a good range of vegetarian and vegan options. Only $11.90 for a coffee, burger and chips!!! Costumer service was amazing, 5 stars

Loved their kiwi burger combo! A bit of a wait but totally worth it and would recommend it to everyone -really , it was Soooo good that eating it got a bit messy lol. Really cute place with friendly customer and beautiful food presentation!

Average enough decor made way to very friendly helpful and professional service. Flat white was well presented but a bit burnt. The burger itself though should be the focus being a burger joint - it was delicious! And cheap, $14.50 for burger chips and flat white.

ORDERED - Brekkie Burger, Eggs on Toast, 1 x Mocha, 1 x Hot Choc.<br/>PRICING - Fair, but eggs on toast at $9.50?<br/>TASTE - Brekkie burger so great and fresh great idea. The drinks were as expected, good portions and hot. The only let down was the portion size of the eggs for $9.50. We get a full plate and bigger and decent portion at Hollywoods. But hey, good service with a smile, good sunny morning. @Limaono
