Paua pies here are amazing! Not too creamy or overpowering in taste. Flaky pastry is not soggy and to top it off, the ice creams are good and staff fantastic! Well worth a stop on the way upto and back from the cape. Classic kiwi outfit, taste won't disappoint.
They serves the best pies in New Zealand I ever tried. I will come back to Northland to have the pies again not for any other reasons. Thanks to having me a good memory of Northland. A smile of your staff is engraved in my memory with taste of pies and ice creams.
Great tasting Pies !! Like the seafood pie. The road side shed is a must stop place if you are travelling to and from Cape Reinga
Delicious pies with such a delicate crunchy pastry and stunning fillings.
Spinach feta pumpkin pies are to die for!! Amazing coffee too, highly highly recommend this place to stop on your drive up
Stopped here twice as they make some of the best pies we have ever eaten. The whole family loved theirs - pepper steak, mince and cheese, steak and cheese, butter chicken and seafood. The real fruit icecreams were also divine. Good value for money and definitely worth the stop.
Fabulous pies with the flaky crust really standing out. Real fruit ice cream is also delish - a bit sweeter than most without being over the top.
Just stopped in for breakfast and coffee on the recommendation of a local and... Wow. Awesome pies. The big breakfast pie was my favorite. Will be coming back for ice cream.
Great customer service 😎I had to try the paua pie I had heard about and it was definitely worth it!
Was recommended to stop by here by the gentleman who owns Gumdiggers Park. The best pie I have ever eaten by a mile! Tried the steak and pepper & the butter chicken - absolute 10/10. Fair prices too! I wish I lived closer so I could stop by here more often. You must stop here for a snack when passin
Great homemade crusty pies sold from a funky shipping container cafe on the side of the road. We are an Aussie couple who came to discover this unique part of the world. Really enjoyed these pies and the owners were very friendly, which makes all the difference if you ask me. They also sell some oth

After a long drive what a beaut spot to stop and get a lovely pie and from a coffee lover a great coffee. The pie filling and crust was beautiful....
The meat pies are top notch. The homemade crust is absolutely delightful and the staff were also incredibly nice.
Stopped there yesterday, I had mince and cheese pie, and daughter had steak and cheese, both agreed one of the best pies we've ever had, and as far as I could gather, they made them there
Definitely the best place to stop on your way North. Has coffees, cakes, fresh sandwiches and great looking homemade pies. Also I’ve creams. No toilet though. Mainly outside eating as the setup is all shipping containers.
