Review Mevlana Kebabs - Invercargill

Lamb shish kebab was juicy and tasty. The special sauce had lovely different flavours - spicy, tangy and had a bit of sweetness. Houmus was smooth and silky and better than most I have eaten. The serving size was such that I had to request to miss the rice. The service was excellent and Sandy, respecting the month of Ramadan also brought a few dates on the house. The place is simple but neat and tidy. Will go there again whenever I feel like having Turkish.

Tried a muzver kebab. ‘Regular’ is massive - and also delicious. Service was great and staff very helpful and informative.

Very yummy pita pockets!! So good I got 2. The chai latte my partner ordered said it was easily one of thee nicest shes ever had. Meat and salad fresh tasting. Sauces were the perfect amount. Thank you guys!

Lovely clean restaurant Nice variety on the menu Lunch ready quickly, lots of meat, fresh, nice toasted kebab on the outside I also appreciate the quality foil lined bag to keep it warm and avoid leakage It was a little expensive but food prices have gone up Delicious lunch and nice for a treat

My fiance and I went here for the first time tonight and 10/10! Excellent service and food! I would highly recommend the Turkish coffee, it changed my mind about liking black coffee! The staff were very friendly and helpful and food was served in a timely manner. Also the food itself was very tasty. I will be coming back again!

I have supported this business for 20 months or more on every business trip every 6 weeks or so spending roughly $100 or so on each occasion but no more!<br/><br/>Rude, unfriendly, arrogant customer service. It's a shame that small business's let themselves down with poor customer service... Especially when you are one of the business partners!!!<br/><br/>I will not be supporting this business any longer... I had lunch there today and found the staff and service to be very friendly and I really enjoyed the food, excellent value for money. It was a little bit chilly inside however, but clean and tidy. I will be back :)<br/><br/>A couple of weeks later and I've been back... enjoyed the friendly, homely service, and once again great value for money :)

I think it is ironic that they have a sign up saying ‘Best coffee in town’ or something similar – yet the guy who works there had no idea HOW to make coffee! Im not joking – I actually had to give him step by step instructions! It was embarrassing. Also the lady who works there – total spaz if you ask me. She is incredibly rude and obviously doesn't care about the business.

food was nice but I have never never had to deal with such rude service. Rude to my family and children, pointing in my son's face saying he had put marks on the glass cabinet. He is 3 and he pointed to what he wanted. When we complained about the way we were treated, she was very verbally abusive swearing etc. Stay away!!!<br/>Never ever again!!!

I am very disappointed in the service of the staff, especially when it came to calling the business. I rang to speak to the owner of the business and was hung up on twice, poor service, poor staff, poor food, I would happily dine at a McDonald's restraunt over this place any day.
