Fantastic coffee. The steak burger with blue cheese and onion relish was delicious. Our kids thought the chicken nuggets were the best they have had and asked me when we could come back for more!
Really lovely food and service.
We each had a veggie burger, which tasted homemade - a chickpea patty with a bit of curry spice, topped with crunchy onion rings and mushrooms. The fries were perfectly crisp and salted, simple but delicious.
My partner had a dirty chai (chai latte with a shot of espresso) and I had a mocha, both of which were very well made and presented.
We finished the meal with a brownie and carrot cake.
Overall a great stop, we will be back the next time we are up this way!

A little gem in Winton, we had been there before this visit. Once inside it wasn't to hard to relies that we had been here. A magic place great wait staff and even better food. Custard Square the best.
What a great place to enjoy a latte or coffee of your choice. Great selection of cakes and hot food. The chocolate roulade GF is something to cheer about
Lovely sunny Saturday for a lunch in the outdoor area at The Mag Tree. Received a warm welcome. Seated and order taken (a good menu selection) and then enjoyed the sun and a wee wine while we waited for food. Did not disappoint. Lamb and Roast Vege salad was yummy and hubbie said the best beef burger he had ever eaten. Our guests from Taupo were very impressed. Thank you. We will be back.
My husband & I visited The Mag Tree today for the first time in a few years & we are both very impressed. Beautiful Blue Cod meal each with a lovely glass of wine. The service was excellent, the environment bright, cherry & very happy! Yes we will definitely be back! Thank You to the team 😊

This is an amazing wee place, friendly staff, absolutely great food. It has been my brake for the last 4 years when I drive from Queenstown to Invercargill. Definitely a must stop, well recommended! Thanks and keep it up.
Everything I ordered was great and had a nice conversation with the lady behind the counter. Also it's a really pretty cafe with great outdoor seating. I can't wait till it gets warmer so I can sit out there!!
