We were a table of four went there with family, had heard a lot about them. Found Food service and ambience to be excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff they took great care of us. Definitely we will revisit them again.

Best Indian cuisine in the town! Great food and comfortable setting area, great atmosphere and staff. All the chicken items were so delicious. Price range was quite affordable Had a great evening!

An excellent Indian restaurant . Our meal was fantastic....Personally speaking the Lamb Vindaloo/Jalapeno cheese Naan was perfect and I paired it with a nice glass of Peregrine Saddleback Pinot. At that moment life couldn't get much better.Thanks for a great meal. Highly recommended.

First time dining since change of ownership. What a difference! The place was packed on a Friday night. Last time we were there we were the only ones! Although very busy, the staff were attentive without being 'in your face' and the food when it arrived was beautifully presented and delicious. There was a bit of a wait, but they were exceptionally busy, so that's to be expected. My husband absolutely loved his meal - as did I - and I think this might turn into a regular Friday night thing. Can recommend the lamb chops. Six to a portion and good size chops, so recommend you share if you want room for a main. Definitely be back. Let's support local everyone. You won't regret it!

I've been a couple of time to Golden Turmeric and it never disappoints. Had my birthday celebration with some friends and kids. Service was excellent, food was superb. Love that they have a full vegan section, and more for everyone's taste. Amazing job, thanks so much for making it special.

Tonight we had the pleasure of ordering from The Golden Tumeric and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of their food and their exceptional customer service. The food was not only delicious, but it also exceeded my expectations in terms of presentation and flavour. In particular, we must mention the amazing squid bhajis which were simply outstanding. The squid was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by a perfectly spiced batter that made the dish simply irresistible. They came with a delicious sauce which added to the delight. Something that truly impressed us was their customer service, including the fact that they waived our delivery fee. It was an unexpected and generous gesture that really went above and beyond our expectations. Thanks for your help and your kindness! Overall, we would highly recommend The Golden Tumeric to anyone looking for a delicious Indian meal with exceptional customer service. The squid bhajis were definitely a highlight of our meal and we can't wait to order from here again soon.

I have been to quite a few Indian restaurants in my time both here and overseas and this was one of the best. I had the lamb Mintwala which is a dish I have not had before. The service was also superb. Reasonable price as well. Definitely be coming back. Thanks

Since the change in ownership, we have had x4 meals from here (all takeaway) and every time it is consistently the same if not better than the last time! We are very happy customers, YUM! and worth the money. We have had, Butter Chicken, Chicken Korma, Lamb Sagwala, and another Lamb dish (cant remember the name) YUM and none of them taste the same as some have the custom to.. The staff are lovely and friendly, sometimes offering a free poppadum.. previous owners had very little meat in the dish, these guys are great! very happy, wont go anywhere else, keep up the great work team :)

Absolutely superb food here every time - best Indian restaurant in Kaiapoi by far!! Friendly owners 😊 I often recommend Golden Turmeric to my B&B guests and some international guests have said it's the best or equal best Indian food they've ever had including in India. Keep up the good work 👏

I visited Tikka Talk on Saturday night and was overcharged. I didn't realise this until I got home and looked at my receipt. The next day I called them and they apologised and offered me the money or a free meal. The service is amazing and they couldn't of apologised enough. I will definitely be a regular customer. Love the food and service to.

Great great Food and they cater for every need , I wanted a vegetarian dish and they suggested a dish and I have been keep going back as it was so yummy ... Oh forgot to mention the price is ridiculously cheap and so affordable excellent service as well.

Yum yum and OMG that was absolutely to die for. We had butter chicken (mild for the kiddies), plain/garlic bread and my 10 year ate everything off her plate (this rarely happens). Definitely going back.
