Review Cbk Craft Bar & Kitchen Kaiapoi - Kaiapoi

We came to CBK Craft Beer Kitchen in Kaiapoi, and we celebrated my cousins birthday. The kids had the cookie skillet and the ice cream doughnut. We had Silver dollar lager and Hazey IPA, and the Pulled Pork Nachos, very very delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming and we had a great time. We went for a birthday as a group ... there was a mixup about the number and we were 2 seats short .... the nice wait staff politely asked the manager if there was a solution .... he quite rudely and loudly said NO THERE ARE NO OTHER SEATS OR TABLES ... then one of our group asked if we could have 2 more chairs and sit 2 people on the ends ... which we did ... so food was nice ... the presentation was nice ... I enjoyed my chicken burger a lot 😁 except for the angry and rude manager the meal was enjoyable ..

Stone grill was cool, holds temp longer than I thought it would, stops you from eating the food too fast while keeping your steak hot - enjoyed every minute

I regularly bring my humans here for a drink after taking them for a walk, they seem to enjoy the beer (particularly the dark ale and the fruit ciders) and the food to refuel (tastes nice and good portions!). The staff are great, really friendly and provide good belly rubs, they seem to serve my humans well too. Nice atmosphere, open and airy and a good outdoor space. Penny Paws the Dog

Excellent all round. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. The menu had enough variety to keep everyone happy. Good size portions. Indoor and outdoor seating. All at ground level, so is all wheelchair accessible. Plenty of parking

Got our orders mixed up, forgot 1 of 7 meals but overall nice food. Nice place, friendly staff and willing to take on newbys so good start point for the young. Great owner friendly and welcoming. Will go back

Food was excellent, the chicken burger is a winner and the winter salad is a must with chicken poppers. Bill was incorrect, they had left a few drinks off, but it was corrected when I pointed out the error. Only issue we had was service, our food took over an hour for some reason and there was much apology but in the end all was good. Maybe the drinks were left off on purpose as a discount for the delayed food, but the staff member that rang up the bill added them when I pointed out the error, my mistake maybe?

Good place to enjoy some nice sea food and burgers. The staff is really friendly and the kids will be looking for the cookie monster hanging around. The fish and chips could be less oily but everything else is presented nicely with a lovely smile.

Excellent food and service from friendly staff. Booking a table is the best ideas as it is usually busy. There are daily specials all week here and the most popular stone grills are included in them. Our waitress was very helpful and introduced herself at the start. Our food arrived pretty quickly and the stone grill steak was delicious. The garlic bread 3 words hot, crisp and tasty! We didn't have room for dessert even with them looking so tempting as the went past to other tables. With having stone grills we got a voucher for free dessert next time we go so will definitely be back and not just for the freebie. They do cocktails here and mocktails also. Beer and wine and soft drinks.

An incredibly positive experience, greeted as soon as you walk in by a number of courteous staff (and often the owner himself), with delicious food and a fine selection of drinks to please anyone. Hamish often comes over for a chat and is the most respectful, pleasant man I have known an owner to be. You leave feeling like your business was appreciated, not just another number. Can't recommend this place enough, one satisfied repeat customer here. :)

We came in for breakfast today after discovering cbk on the entertainment app. We couldn't fault our experience from the service to the super amazing food and coffee. We will Def be bringing the family back they too need to experience those delicious waffles!
