Awesome Gurnard Fish fried and battered had last night along with corn fritter and sausage. All cooked perfectly and not oily. For desert had a Banana Fritter and Vanilla Ice Cream very nice indeed and a must add to your meal as a treat 👍😀 Drove across the road and enjoyed dining looking over the water to the Coromandel Peninsula. There are tables etc.bit busy at the time.

Been away 10 years and the place is still the same! Food is good, service is friendly. The queues haven’t changed either lols. Maybe invest in an LED ticker display to show the order numbers. Hilarious to still see people yelling numbers out the door. I had the Seafood Basket. It was worth the wait. I should’ve bought extra sauce though. Not really a salad person, but the crunchy salad that was included was very tasty. Great way to top off a day at the beach.

Took the residents from Elmwood down, normally we go to the pub next door which is very good, but we thought we would check out the Fish & Chips next door which was every bit as good. Good size meals, great pricing we will be back again...cheers

Customer service very welcoming, good service. Food was really lovely definitely worth the money we spent lol we got extra chips thinking they wouldn't give much. Well we were wrong there. Oh and the chocolate bars đŸ€€ definitely pay $5 for that was nice and cold for a hot day, such a good idea 😊 Oh and the corn fritter was something different but lovely different ❀ Thank you for the beautiful kai and your amazing service! Also a nice park up the road to eat at with plenty of picnic tables, just turn left out the driveway only around the corner.

Nice spot at the end of the Seabird Coast for a weary biker to stop for refreshments. Friendly staff and a nice, sunny outdoor area to relax.

Awesome fish n chips - some of the best I have had. I tried their gurnard and the batter was thin and crispy. Chips were crunchy and tasty. They offer vinegar for the chips, which isn’t common in New Zealand. They also had a “spicy salt” that was really good on both the fish and chips. Very affordable prices. Just a great, small, local, fish n chip shop.

No exaggeration these were probably the best fish n chips I've had in New Zealand. My wife and I purchased the snapper. Also their house chocolate moose is lovely.

Amazing fresh fish and great chips at this place. Standard pricing... $5-7 for a piece of fish (depending on type) $3 scoop of chips, 30 cents for a slice of bread and butter. Highly recommend but be ready for a wait... took 30 mins to get our order. Super popular on sunny days. There is some seating to eat inside or beaches and a cool kids playground nearby.
