Wonderful spot to stop at for lunch. Tried the salmon quesadilla and the cacao beef nachos, both were of good quality and the service was good. Nice iced mocha as well. I am yet to try the breakfast menu but they had good looking options. Only downside is that we did not receive water at our table (
LOVED IT! We went for the nachos and the chicken tostada for lunch and both were gone in the blink of an eye while the kids meals were equally polished off quickly. Good range of local drinks too. Great food. Had the eggs Benedict and they were great. The soup of the day was very good and the eggs and avocado where tasty. The fresh juice was a nice addition to our meal.
The best breakfast in Kaikoura, hands down.
You know how a lot of places do Eggs Benedict, and you taste them and you just end up with that fatty eggy butter film in your mouth afterwards because the cook never read the bit of the recipe that said to add lemon to the sauce?
