Review Beach House Cafe - Kaikoura

10/10 You have to stop in for a coffee to take away or sit in and relax in the cozy home or out the front in the court yard looking at the incredible snowy mountains. This is well worth the stop in. When i say this place doesn’t disappoint i really mean it. The Staff are amazing it’s like going to a family home and just relaxing and enjoying your breakfast. Most friendly and welcoming people. This place is so relaxed and so lovely . The coffee is on point, Food is amazing and up to an incredible standard. Atmosphere is a beach house and more. The service is impeccable. I’d highly recommend the stop into Kaikoura. Spend the day or even a couple of days here in this gorgeous town it’s definitely worth it. And make the stop into the Beach House Cafe.

Visited Beach House Café a few times. And this is one of my go-to-breakfast places in town. Big boy was definitely superb and the seafood chowder was just exquisite. They make good coffees as well. Great place to spend time with family, friends and loved ones. The ambiance is very cozy regardless of what the weather is. ❤️

Best vegan breakfast (the vegan stack)! Amazing presentation, taste, and atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone. You’re missing out if you don’t go here.

Was going to write arguably but there’s not argument. The best cafe in New Zealand it was so good I had the same thing twice and way too many of the baked treats. Hope to pop in again on the way back from CC.

Best vibes! Comfortable seating with great options inside and out. Staff are all friendly and genuinely look like they enjoy life and it projects through the great service. Best coffee and it’s at a fair price. Food is so good. Definitely a must stop while in Kaikōura

The vegan stack was really tasty, the oat hot chocolate was a bit disappointing as all I could taste was oat milk, although it looked really good when it arrived. My bf got the pancakes and a flat white which he enjoyed. It was a busy cafe but we didn’t wait long for the food :)

This place is phenomenal. Really lovely staff. Easy to get to. Open early. The decor, vibe, atmosphere is so chill and cool and inviting. The food - had the pancakes and they are so yummy. Perfectly cooked. Excellent flavors. Awesome coffee too. So happy eating my breakfast.

Great little place in Kaikora with a deserved reputation. It was quite busy when we went for a late breakfast but soon got a table and our drinks. The food was beautifully presented, fresh and very tasty. We will absolutely be back again.

I've traveled a few ks all over NZ. I can tell you this is the best café that I have visited in both the north and south island. The coffee is absolutely perfect as is the food. Real ingredients, well cooked, presented and delicious. I can't recommend this place enough. They even accommodated my taste for a side of whole grain mustard with my breakfast. The atmosphere is positive and warm. Thank you so much 🙂

This comfy and friendly cafe serves the best coffee in Kaikoura. The cafe’s rooms, with their polished timber floors, are a perfect place to while away an hour or two on a rainy day. When it’s fine you can sit out on the veranda and watch the world go by over the rim of your latter cup. Serving a selection of home-made food, delectable sweet things, and superb savoury scones, the Beach House is a great place to break your journey up or down the Kaikoura Coast or to hang out in during your stay.
