Beautiful sunny spot in the morning for a coffee and something to eat..... I got a mushroom and steak pie, nice big chunks of steak. Service was great.

Seems to be a popular cafe in the new and popular area in Kaikuora. Heard that the seafood chowder and the brownies are good here. Well, the seafood chowder was thick, with lots of fresh seafood and its delicious. The brownies were soft and tasty rich with chocolate favour. The fish and chips were fresh and nicely deep fried. The shepherd pie was good too.

Great to find this wee gem for an early breakfast! Wonderful friendly, prompt service, delicious eggs bene with salmon and lovely hot coffee. Great selection of options from the menu and in the cabinets and all reasonably priced. Keep up the wonderful work team!

Good breakfast and lunch spot in town. Service is fast and food is inviting. Staff is pretty busy as the place fills up rapidly. Decent amount of indoor seating however you may have to wait for seating at peak times.

The next day after the fishing trip we headed down there to have breakfast. Busy place but service good, prices reasonable and delivery of breakfast fast given the amount of people. All meals looked good. Bacon cooked to perfection.

I don't usually post reviews, however I'll make an exception. Stopped by while travelling up North and that was possibly my best decision. Had chicken sandwich and a smoothie and probably never had a better panini than this one. Chicken & cheese, toasted. If I ever come back, I'll see you again! Cheers, Leon

Why not indeed! Great cabinet food and good menu variety on offer. We were all very happy with our meals and coffees. Very efficient and generous sized meals… so bring your appetite!

I frequented this cafe whilst I was staying in Kaikoura. Their cakes and coffees were excellent! I really enjoyed chatting with the staff during my visits and wouldn't hesitate to return next time I'm in Kaikoura. It gets busy for a good reason!

Have been travelling through nz over last couple of weeks. This is first cafe that has stood out for good service and tasty, well presented food, that is much nicer and tru to description than any similar items we have had anywhere else. Well done the the manager and team
