An Irish themed bar with excellent service and the food we had was really tasty. it is pretty busy so don't expect fast food but relax enjoy the atmosphere and it's worth the wait

Super chilled place, we both had burgers which were incredible! The beef brisket just fell apart! 😍 I wanted a cider but they only had Stowford press which I'm not bothered about but the lady suggested their alcoholic lemonade which was amazing! Very refreshing but kinda dangerous in the best way possible! We went for a walk and met someone and came for another drink after and the barman suggested putting raspberry in it which somehow made it even better! We will definitely be coming back to kaikoura anyway and will be popping back in here for food and drinks!

Loved this place 🥰So glad it was open Wednesday as I left next day. So Cool😎inside Cosy with fire going , But I dined outside under the shade as it was gorgeous day, The lovely barmaid pink hair😻 ordered me a Ploughman's lunch OMG It was delicious Big I had to take some home which I eat for dinner🤭I stayed for 3 hrs as meet a great couple who also loved it ,Thanks also to the sweet barman with the pony😉 What great staff .I'll be back 🥰

Lovely bar where we stopped for a beer and a little snack. The little snack turned out to be more than we expected for the price! Can really recommend getting the smoked chicken wings here. Might stop by for dinner as well, since the menu looked great.

We stopped here because the restaurant we wanted to eat at closed early. It man that was some good luck on our part. Even though they didn’t open until 5pm for food, they let us sample some craft brews and even explained the specials for the evening. I was all about fish and chips. But Kyle ( who was not only knowledgeable in all things beer but the way they cook as well) filled us in in the brisket with seasonal vegetables. SOLD! and the food was delicious! Big portions too! They were so nice and kind to us, that goes a huge way. Again short staffed but doing the best they can. Tip if you’re eating outside get your silverware before your food comes. Otherwise the seagulls will eat your food while you get the silverware. Kyle and crew are amazing! What a wonderful find.

Really amazing place. We enjoyed our drinks and meal next to a roaring fire in the rustic lodge style dining room. Such great atmosphere, really delicious food (slow cooked meats were perfectly executed) Just a great spot for lunch

They were really busy but found a space for my daughter and I. The food menu was ME! It was my birthday so, of course, I had the Crayfish. Not cheap, anywhere (unless you catch it yourself) but they had a bus tour in and out, in like 20mins and Crayfish was on their menu too. It's always going to upset the Apple cart, but still they found time and humour for us. Brilliant! Made my night. Great work team and thanks from a Dad and his daughter. Great atmosphere too and they support local musicians. Highly recommended!

We got a couple of starters that were extremely good, the calamari in particular was excellent. For the main we shared a crayfish. It was very nice, but was quite difficult to eat having not had one before. It cost $120 for our one, but prices ranged on the day from $110 to $126 per crayfish. I think it's definitely worth trying despite the expense, and it was explained to us that they can do a half portion for sizes more than $120, so that could be a way to do it for less. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, with a cozy bar area and a lit fire.

Called in without a booking to have dinner with my 3 children as we were in town for the night. Atmosphere was so welcoming, the hosts were just amazing, had such a great energy about them, and the food was delicious. Generous servings, will definitely fo back when down this way again. Highly recommend 👌

Three of us had the catch of the day which was lemon shark. We loved it. We also appreciated the very friendly and hard working staff. They have multiple very tasty tap beers to sample. Would definitely recommend.

The place is lovely and the pints are good but I wouldn’t serve a crayfish the way they did without giving you the proper utensils to eat it with. We payed $95 for a whole crayfish but then had nothing to eat it with but a knife and fork so you have to almost hurt yourself to get the rest of the meat out. Other than that it’s a lovely place but if you sell yourself as a seafood restaurant you should offer the right utensils to eat seafood with.

This was a pretty neat place to eat on the main drag. The food was good, and the prices modest. It is a great place for lunch. They also have a bar. The service was good.

Food is as everyone said, superb. I ordered steak and it packed with flavors not to mentioned a large portion of fries. Tasted my friend's order as well, fish n chip and seafood chowder. The fish is fresh while the seafood chowder is just slightly pale in comparison with the two. Slightly normal.Environment wise its really nice as well, a good place to chill.

We arrived in town late on a Sunday, hungry and this is the first place we found open and still serving food. We got lucky, the place feels welcoming the moment you step into the restaurant with its warm fireplace. Seafood is very much on the menu and my go to is the fish and chips which turned out to be melt in your mouth fresh and delicious.

The thing that most stood out about this venue was the Staff! Fabulous team, very chatty & fun. Loved it. Interesting surrounding and awesome food. Great Vibe
