Amazing food at a great price. Meals tasted and looked fantastic and arrived swiftly. The portions are VERY generous!! I have eaten at many restaurants that have charged way more for their meals and they have not been executed with half the skill or taste the chef at Orana achieved! Yes the decor of restaurant is dated but don't let that put you off eating there.

Great place to go for a meal. Fantastic, friendly service . Great chef, you have lovely food and plenty of it. Nobody goes from Orana hungry, that's for sure. Every time we have been, we haven't been able to finish meal .

Despiteca rather slow start the food and service were excellent. The presentation was delightful, the portions too large!!! BUT we'll cooked. Ice touch to put apple in the salad. I will be back.

Love the food and service. Updated 22.09.23...Had dinner and must say it was well worth the spend on food. Children loved their food as well as their parents 🤣🤣🤣

Didn't stay at the motel so can't rate there. . But we did dine in for dinner. FOOD was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL not what we were expecting at all for what the place looked like. Esbestos ceiling made me feel a uncomfortable . Could really do with a revamp liven up the place to match the menu. LOVED the bar area too . Will definitely be recommending for FOOD side.

Best kept secret in New Zealand! I’m convinced a Michelin Star chef is hiding out in North New Zealand at a run-down old motor inn. The steak here is one of the best we’ve had anywhere and the sides were just as phenomenal. We’ll be going back for dinner again tonight. 😂 Ignore the ancient wood paneling and scuffed 70s linoleum. This place is a hidden gem.

Had an amazing meal here - wow!! The food was outstanding and sooo big! No room for entree and main or main and dessert. Everyone took home half their meal. Definitely be back.

Love this place! I have stayed here for a month and all i can say is that Jackie is so amazing, very helpful and so cool. The rooms are well maintained and location is accessible to grocery store and 24 hr convenience store. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Will surely comeback

Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Food is yum and well sized. Room I stayed in is cosy and clean. A good bang for your buck. Always enjoy staying here :) 👌.
