Today I brought through 28 elderly people. Service was excellent and quick. The food was absolutely delicious with salmon and eggs Benedict being a favourite and everyone enjoyed it. We were lucky to come on a beautiful day with the lake looking gorgeous. What a stunning spot. We will be back again.

This Cafe would be on top of the Podium as it's food and coffee were #1. Can't wait for summer, this will be the place to stop while out on the lake.

I had a fabulous long black and delicious, freshly made Monte Carlo cookie...yummm! My husband had a really good flat white in a gorgeous English pottery cup and saucer. Very worth cycling from Leamington for!

Best Asahi beer on tap, check theirs not a rowing regatta or you could wait awhile for your order if your not into rowing or crowds. Food is good but location is better overlooking the lake. If you want to walk of lunch there's a 2km well maintained track to rowing course start.

Enjoying the day at Karapiro, so decided to have some snacks at the Podium. I ordered a salmon sandwich, which came with salad. The salad dressing was amazing. Loved the salmon. My wife had the keto pie, delicious in her opinion. Worth a visit!

Delicious. Beautiful surrounds and the place looks very tidy. Would be nice to have just a couple more items on the menu, but only if the food stays the same quality. There's plenty of things for the young ones to do while you have a coffee or read a book.

It is a lovely place to stop and refresh. Staff were great, the service was quick, and the food and drinks were excellent. It has a lovely outlook and an adventure playground for the kids

Situated on the shores of Karapiro this makes a great destination cafe, especially on a nice day. I can recommend the cabinet food which was very tasty and will be back to try the menu. Highly recommend the sausage rolls and the cakes were next level too. The cafe itself is on the smaller side and can be noisy, but has great views of the lake and plenty of outside seating with the adjacent playground, ideal for families and adults seemed to find it equally enjoyable. Access from the Cambridge end as the dam bridge is often closed. Signage isn't good. Look for the office and go right instead of heading down the path, especially if you need easy access.

Very cute cafe. Their coffee is good and they have a wide variety of snacks. The brioche muffin with cheese and bacon was delicious!

Award winning cafe feature some gourmet breakfast. They also have some bakeries available. The water tap has three kinds of water: sparkling, still and chilled water free of charge for patrons. The speed was fast and the foot was tasty. We ordered Bacon and Egg Benedict - it has two free range eggs with crispy bacon.

After saying many times we must go there on our road trips we finally did today and not disappointed at all, wish we’d dine it sooner! Food was amazing, the view and atmosphere lovely. Would highly recommend the few minute detour off SH1

We visited a couple of times and each time the food was magnificent. Also found plenty to eat on my anti inflammatory diet which was fantastic. There is seating inside and out. Definitely recommend it to everyone.
