Good fish and chips. They sell fresh seafood as well. They cooked my chips nice and crispy upon request. Will go again. 😊
Had such a pleasant experience interacting with the lovely man, he was very attentive and had such a warm, kind energy. Was very informative about the fish I was buying! New local spot for fresh fish. It was delish.

Have been going here for years. Has to be best in Chch. Very simple, cheap, well cooked fish and chips. Lemon pepper too. Can't understand the bad reviews. They are a million miles away from the experiences I have had.
One of just a couple of fish and chip shops in Christchurch that I could recommend for good quality fresh fish and a decent proportion of crispy chips. Tonight they graciously took my phone order and stayed open past closing time for me to pick it up.
Great priced fresh fish which they will batter or crumb for you. Wonderful friendly staff, fantastic service, great food, would highly recommend.
$2 a scoop, $2 fish & most other things on the menu.

Nice owner-operators. Their fish is very fresh and reasonably priced. My family enjoyed the kingfish bought from them recently. We'll continue to buy from Kumea Fisheries :)
I come here often great place for fresh fish, smoked fish (yummy) and of course their fish and chips ! Very reasonable prices and always a warm welcome from the lady behind counter . Would recommend to everyone
