Absolutely fabulous place for a relaxing lunch. Setting was spectacular, easy parking, wonderful grounds including walk down to the pond to see the ducklings. I had the 2 Boa Buns with soy glazed beef, selection of sliced vegetables and a chipotle mayo. First time I'd had bao buns, and would certainly return to have them again. Also dessert was a Marsden Mess, a meringue with fruit, so a wonderful time was had by us all. Highly recommended spot.

We had a beautiful lunch today. The staff are lovely. We are on keto diet so my beef fillet was modified to leave out the potatoes and it lacked nothing. My husband had the tuna. It was an excellent day out and excellent wine

We had lunch and some wine tasting. The food was spectacular! Had venison and duck both were perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Enjoyed every single bit of it! Staff were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about wines. Highly recommended. Thank you for the memorable experience!

Absolutely gorgeous winery to visit ! We originally went to another winery nearby, but shortly left as we found this one instead, and we’re so glad we did ! The winery was so beautiful and a very calm atmosphere. Such a great spot to go on a date with someone for sure ! We got a antipasto platter and also some bread and hummus, great food with such lovely staff.

Having read so many good reviews it was great to experience the excellent service, lovely location and delicious food. Wine tasting options were also a bonus with our lunch. Highly recommend

AMAZING place to visit when you're in the area. The best vineyard in Kerikeri. We came for a wine tasting and platter and were greeted by a big friendly sleepy dog at the front gate. Already that's rive stars for me. We then moved on to some wine tasting. They have a good but not intimidating range of wines to taste which are tasty, even for someone who doesn't know wines very well. The people taking the tasting were very charismatic and fun. We were told our platter is ready so moved on to the beautiful and tranquil outdoor area covered with vines and plants. It overlooked a beautiful pond. The platter was amazing and so big. There was such a range of food on it and it was all delicious. During our stay we were greeted by two friendly dogs who wandered around outside. Can't wait to go back!

Wow! Stopped here on a whim and was greeted with a stunning and enormous estate. Parking was full but they had additional and it was so busy, for good reason. The wines and food here was absolutely sensational, with award winning varieties with special acclaim to the Chardonnay which has been internationally recognised and I can see why. The restaraunt also was a last minute choice and was just unbelievably good, especially the pasta. We have not made it to any other vineyards in the Northland trail but I don't see how any could beat Marsdens. I'm truly sad they don't have big distribution at home in Australia because I'd go far and wide for the Chardonnay.

Attentive service, my favourite Black Rocks chardonnay, flavour filled prawn salad, gathering with old friends - we even raved over the smoked olives, served warm. A standout meal. Perfect.

The food here is really good and we felt like we got value for money. The staff were attentive, efficient and friendly. They allow dogs and there were a few around that were well controlled. Had a stroll through the vineyards. A great spot!

My wife and i pluse 4 others went fo lunch. We dined out side. The grounds were beautiful. The staff were pleasant althoughthey were very busy the waiting time was minimaland the food was great.

Great winery. I love that they offer both breakfast and lunch. Lots of seafood options. We had oysters and they were fresh and yummy. The tuna salad was great too.

Had a fabulous lunch on Labour weekend Saturday. Food was awesome and setting was beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed the wine as well.

Had lunch at Marsden Estate when we visited Paihia, Bay of Islands. Very friendly staff with attentive service. The food was delicious and the Pinot Gris was fabulous. We walked around the property after lunch. Absolutely beautiful and stunning view of the vineyards and lake. 😍

5 Gold Stars PLUS go to the awesome staff for going the extra mile. All the food here is exceptional but the Creme Brulee is just heavenly. When I stopped in yesterday, desperately fancying Creme Brulee and coffee, I had got late and the kitchen had closed. The loveliest lady ever heard my disappointment and came out of her office and offered to personally go and make me one!!! This was just so kind and she did the most amazing job. Congratulations lovely people. You made my day 😁

Visited Marsden Estate to try some wines, so so glad we visited. The wines were delicious and we bought a couple of bottles of our favourite. The staff encouraged us to take a glass and walk around the property. Absolutely stunning views of the vineyard and lake. Impeccably maintained grounds. Well worth the visit if you are in the area. 10/10

12 diner's for lunch, one of my favourite venues, the ambiance of the setting, a working vineyard with exquisite landscaped surroundings, the food, wine and service was second to none, having been here many times in the past this reviewer highly recommends you visit. Remember to book as a venue that provides this standard of dining is always very busy.

I'm a wedding planner, and recently had the pleasure of dealing with Cindy with Marsden Estate. They hosted 26 guests for lunch and everyone raved about the service, food and overall wonderful experience. Such a beautiful setting and wouldn't hesitate to recommend again.

Food and wine was excellent, service impeccable and venue gorgeous .... what more could one ask for a birthday celebration. Beautiful birthday dessert perhaps .... and that delicious morsel topped off a perfect meal. Thank you all at Marsden Estate for making my celebration so enjoyable.

The bubbles rose wine is lovely. The food was nice. Could have had a bit more seafood in the gnocchi. Lovely setting.

Perfect spot for a few glasses of wine relaxing in a tranquil setting with really nice service. Take a few bottles home too as they are worth it and you can't really get it anywhere else.

We just had lunch here and it was amazing. Delicious food, quaffable wine but the service was something special. Thank you for making us feel so relaxed and paying particular attention to our children. We will most certainly be back - lots!

Excellent place and a lovely lunch menu to accompany the fabulous wines :-)

We were holidaying for a few days and on our way back to Auckland, so we thought we'd eat before travelling. We had been once before and had enjoyed it. This time however our experience was not the same. We have a small well behaved little dog that sits quietly under our table when we go out and we asked if we could bring him in as we didn't want to leave him in the car but we were told quite rudely that we couldn't because the resident dog was aggressive! Surely she could have put the dog away for the short time we stayed and tbh if you have an aggressive dog it shouldn't be left to roam freely in the restaurant. Anyway long story short. We were not impressed, meal was super average and chicken noodle salad had very little chicken. Service was slow but the younger girls were pleasant. Suffice to say we won't venture back!

Took my mum and uncle to Marsden for a look around and wine tasting and Cindy and staff were so accommodating. They sampled the whites - loving the Pinot Gris and the reds were excellent too with the favourite being the Syrah. Excellent wines produced here by experts. Well worth visiting either for a meal or wine tasting.
