Review The Pear Tree - Kerikeri

Brilliant place to go (been 4x). Mid to upper market establishment. Quality, well cooked, presented and sized portions. It is very suitable for children to play as off the road and plenty of greenspace.

The produce is fresh and cooked to perfection, fresh greens, entree fresh oysters, excellent fillet steak with a glass of wine. Whoever's in the kitchen is taking their role seriously. Comprehensive wine and drinks list with front of house staff taking active pride in what they do. If you want a nice, relaxed place to dine in Kerikeri it's excellent value.

Absolutely beautiful place by the water. Outside terraces with heaters are open from 12 pm forward and you have pizza, burger etc. Menu and bar available. The restaurant is open from 5 pm forward and has vast menu. We came at 2 pm and had very good pizza and burger. The tiramisu was the best! Thank you!

It's located near the historic stone store. We dined on their bar side, which has a more casual vibe. Their fish and chips are one of the best I've ever had. I could tell it's cooked in super fresh oil.

Exceptional! I would not eat anywhere else in Kerikeri. We had New Years here and it was so good, I went back on new years day with a girlfriend for lunch. Outstanding food, service and views of the inlet and right across from the historic Stone Store. Back here again. Best hot wings in the North!

Friendly staff and great food (with plenty of alternative options) in a sleek, stylish establishment. Several seating options including indoors, terrace, and even beanbag loungers. Friendly local birds hopped over to say hello and happy children were welcome to play without disturbing the peace. I enjoyed one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time whilst looking out over the water. The only negative is the food beepers which can get annoying when many people are ordering food. Other places use ones which vibrate and don't bother anyone else, but this is a small price to pay for a nice chill spot 🙏

The most picturesque beer garden in Northland: Right on the Kerikeri River next to the historical Old Stone Store. Yummy wood fired pizza, crunchy Greek salad and much more, also a kids menu. Great indoor/outdoor atmosphere, family and pet friendly, ample parking.

8 of us dined at the garden bar for lunch. The food was delicious and came quickly. The wine list was good. Even though the weather was light rain, we had a fantastic view from the covered deck. A beautiful setting with a variety of seating areas and super-clean loos.

Until I found this place, I didn’t think beautiful country gastro pubs with original menus were a thing in the north island of New Zealand. Definitely worth a day trip as surroundings also fun to explore. Order anything, it’s all delicious.
