Review La Taza Del Diablo - Kerikeri

Very nice Mexican restaurant. Great food and beautiful decor. The house cocktail was delicious as was our dishes. The service was good despite arriving at a very busy time. We will definitely be making the trip to visit again. I wish there was a similar restaurant in Whangarei....

Nice selection of Mexican food. Friendly service. Outdoor seating is covered by awning so can be used if raining. Would definitely eat there again.

This place is great. We stopped in for lunch and had their nachos. The Group size plate served three of us nicely. We especially asked for them to make it Vegan which they were happy to do, and it was very tasty. It was also very reasonable price wise. Recommended.

Great food, good atmosphere, good service.

Awesome service, awesome live music. The polenta chips and croquettes were really good starters. The enchiladas were very nice but needed more heat (both flavour and temperature), a bottle of tobasco on the table would have been a good edition. Would definitely return, a great dining experience.

While passing through we discovered this place on the side of the road. The food and the staff were equally fantastic however the range of tequila was dire. Would definitely visit again just for the platter; it was pretty spectacular.

Great, no fuss food. The chef presents authentic Mexican food with great flavour. The staff are relaxed and friendly. The live music is unique in Kerikeri and boosts the atmosphere. Excellent parking.

Definitely NOT bland food... very flavoursome and definitely spicy enough- coming from someone who loves their spice! Reasonably priced for what you get although maybe a little more of their delicious rice would have been nice 😊 the coffee was absolutely perfectly done too and I am quite critical of coffees! Service was great, American chick working (Sunday afternoon on the 12th Feb) and she was so accommodating and happy to help with menu changes for my annoying preferances etc. And the food was pretty quick too! Thanks guys 😁

Really enjoyed it -- friendly staff, strong margarita, cute courtyard with real candles (which I appreciate over those safer LED tealights)! The chilli choc mousse, which came with a garnish of dark chocolate and candied chilli peppers, was absolutely delicious. With the live music and revellers it was on the noisy side--did the margarita make me sensitive?--but all good for a fiesta.
