OMGOODNESS we just had the yummiest Steak Pie, counted 6 large pieces of steak and Not overloaded with Gravy. The donut was too die for - so fresh and light - so yum. This place is definitely a must to stop if you are passing through - or worth just a drive - you will not be disappointed 😊

Genuine kiwi pie shop with delicious flaky pastry and full of generous filling. The cream donuts are also soft and fresh. Delicious!

Awesome selection of fresh baking. Cheese & Bacon Pizza rolls are to die for. They are yummy. First time I've stopped there. Will do so again if I can get a park

Very friendly and helpful staff. The guy who served us was enthusiastic and knowledge, and happy to make recommendations. The food was good too. Generous serving sizes and quality ingredients. We sat outside and I think this was the worst part about it, the outdoor seating is close to the road. Overall it's worth stopping at, especially if you can find a park.

Absolutely gorgeous this Kai... I live in wellsford so each time I go home to kihikihi I always get my favourite chocolate eclairs...🥰🥰🥰

After living abroad for several years, this was the first place my folks took me for a good ol NZ Pie. Absolutely amazing. Lamingtons, lolly cake, sausage rolls. This place is everything I remember about NZ as a kid.

Second best artisan bakery in North island. Best on the route from new Plymouth to auckland. Do try their 🧀 cheesecake. Heaps of parking.

The best maori bread 🍞 😋 in the king country, or probably the north island. Keep up the great work, team.

As a Cream Bun connoisseur, I have to say their bun is excellent, the cream is excellent, and the cream to bun ratio is spot on.

We stopped here simply based on how many other people we saw going in, so figured it must be good. And it was!! We had a steak and cheese and a mince and cheese pie, both had a good amount of meat and a generous amount of cheese - very tasty. Our toddler LOVED the egg sandwich! We also shared a custard doughnut which although not quite what we were expecting in terms of texture (it was more like a bread), it was still delicious. Definitely recommend if you're after a quick bite to eat and looking for bakery food.

Fantastic experience this morning! Very busy with lots of customer yet staff were extremely efficient and friendly. Food and coffee was delicious, especially the cronuts!

Great food. Have to give the cream doughnuts a go. Worth the stop on a rod trip.
