Review Honey Cafe & Honey Center - Kumara

They have great Pounamu collection. Even raw rocks! Such sweet people. Also they let us self contained camp outside which is extremely kind. The smoothie was yummy. Coffee looked great.

Made a quick stop for a takeaway coffee, so can't comment on the food, but the flat white was OK. The place itself is great, nice and open and light. As the name suggests you can buy locally made honey on site, which I'm sure is delicious but again, didn't sample. Service was friendly and fast, it wasn't busy but I imagine it would be pumping on the weekends!

The staff is wonderful and the coffee is really really awesome. I had the apricot chicken sandwich and it was very delicious. Beautiful setup, well done 👌🏻

Nice atmosphere. Great staff. Easy parking. Only a few types of honey for sale.

So many delicious options. Pie and breakfast sammich - delicious. The service was great. That they allow self contained vehicles to camp for free in the lot is a fantastic thing to do. Highly recommend stopping off here.

Very good indeed. Large car park, spacious interior, inside and outside table options. Food was good (chicken burger, corn stack special, chunky fries) and coffee was well made. Prices were reasonable. We were very very full post luncheon. Staff were friendly and service was timely. Toilets could have been slightly cleaner but we visited right before closing time so I guess that was why. They weren’t bad though. Cool artwork at great prices was available, just a shame I didn’t have room to take a piece home to England.

Fabulous place. Lots of great goodies and the staff serving us so cheerful and Friendly. Clean as and would go again when I'm up that way. Check it out travellers....awesome cafe.

Best ham, cheese, tomato toastie I have ever had! Wonderful, bubbly staff. Was the perfect stop over on our long trip :)

Called in for lunch it was lovely, coffee yummy 2 awesome ladies behind counter next time we are over this way we will be back.

Didn't go to the cafe as being closed this month but spent the night on the car park with my self contained vehicle. Thanks for letting us stay there for free. OK its alongside the road but after 9 not many cars and there is actually a nice view over the mountains
