Ramen Tekapo - Lake Tekapo - Photo album

Very good prices and excellent food!! We were lucky and did not need to wait long for a table - the restaurant provides water. You will to order at the counter and food gets served fairly quickly - we had pork gyoza, fried rice with pork and Tom gha chicken, which were all wonderful on a chilly even
We ordered chicken fried rice, tofu green curry and Gyoza Vegan.. it's awesome. Real authentic taste.
Our visit to Ramen Tekapo left us thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of their food. The Laksa Chicken dish was a true standout, with its aromatic and flavorful broth that perfectly complemented the tender chicken and fresh vegetables. The Red Curry Chicken was equally remarkable, boasti
Busy Ramen restaurant, ramen is great , but a little bit too salty. But it’s good for a Japanese restaurant in New Zealand.
Acceptable waiting time (~30m) during the peak hour 6-7pm. We ordered Spicy Miso Ramen, Gyoza, takoyagi, Chashu Ramen and Red Curry w rice. Chashu ramen was definitely the best dish. If i ever come back to this restaurant, definitely will order the Chashu Ramen again! Perfectly made ramen soup wit
The sashimi was incredible, and the rest of the food was very good except the squid. The squid was a little bit of a let down, very rubbery. Otherwise awesome restaurant in a very beautiful location

Besides Japanese and Korean cuisine, we also tried the Thai food here. I personally think that the Thai food was good. The fried rice with chicken and the phad Thai were nicely done. The chicken tomyam soup was flavourful and appetizing.
Tried their tonkotsu ramen ( added extra egg and cha su) and pork/cha su fried rice. Food was very flavoursome, however might be slightly salty to come. The cha su was surprisingly well marinated, tender and the fat was so soft, and kinda melts in your mouth. The chef seems to be a Japanese too. Not
Great chashu ramen, and the chashu was so thick and delicious!! A little gem in Lake Tekapo
