Absolutely love the food here, my partner has been ordering "Indian Hot" for years, and these guys are first ones to beat him! Super spicy without losing any of the flavour. Also really knowledgeable around dietary requirements, and the cheese and garlic naan is fantastic. Definitely recommend.

It’s a shame that this is just a take-a-way, you should definitely open up a restaurant. The food is super delicious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended place!!! Definitely want to visit again.

The best Indian food I've ever had! I've tried all places from foxton to levin and you can't beat star of india, their service is great too!

We stopped by with only a short amount of time and they made our food fast and it was no less delicious for how fast they made it. Great service and great food!

Couldn't have asked for a better butter chicken and the price 👌 13.50 for curry, rice, naan and drink.

Great service, super quick and a very reliable delivery option too. Great selection of food, all done to a high standard. They know how to do accurate spice levels as well (hot is hot not just medium etc). Food is always 10/10 and never had an order gone wrong.

I had this indian tonight and it was amazing! I've eaten tons of Indian food in NZ, and this was by far the best chicken Tikkia I've ever had. You can get half and half for only $12! We also enjoyed the samosas and garlic and cheese nann, while my partner really enjoyed his goat curry. I would definitely return if I ever visited Levin again. Thanks guys, wish you all the best 😊

I have always had a good experience at Star of India. Great quality food, delicious flavours and good choices.

Amazing!!! Meat is tender and delicious. No chewy bits. Flavour is there. Reasonably priced too and the lunch deal is a favourite of mine. Highly recommend. Don't bother with any of the other Indian restaurants in Levin. This surpasses those by a long way.

Fresh ingredients, authentic flavours. Very accommodating if there were ingredients I couldn’t have. I would love to be able to order jars of the curry sauces to ship home. We will most definitely be back next time we are through!

They were very busy but still apologise about the little wait that was no longer than they told me.. 😊 Very delicious food! & the woman cook & woman taking orders were both very attractive as well! My mother alway told me that Indian & Asian women were up there with the most attractive women in the world lol be good😉

This is probably the only Indian Takeaway which deserves 5⭐️ . If you are craving for the Authentic indian food then this Takeaway is where you should head to. Staff is Friendly and happy to have a nice yarn. Recommend!!

Good food at good prices. Some meals are vegan friendly, a nice style and flavour variance with these. Friendly staff and delivery options make this the only takeout in levin I get if i'm craving some indian style vegan food

Best Indian take away in NZ I think! We are from Wellington and there is not even a single Indian take away that can match this place! Super hygienic, super tasty and what an amazing customer service! Customer service is so impersonal these days that it was refreshing to see how good customer service can be! Will stop on our way back too! This place is a gem! Keep up the good work guys!

We only ever get our Indian takeaways from here. I think they even know me by name now! Delicious food, always generous with meat and paneer. Very lovely people who always have a smile for their customers.

I rate this takeaway very highly, the food is fantastic the best curries on the Kapti coast, had another great meal last weekend and all our guests enjoyed every mouthful. They go out of their way  to make sure the customer  is always happy .

I've had to create a profile to tell people how good this place is. I love my Indian food, I even cook Indian style food most nights. Nothing in NZ can match the taste of food in India but this place comes as close to the real taste as I have found. <br/> The vegetarian dishes are a treat with not just hot spice and cream and sugar like so many other places but spices that flavor rather than over power, you can taste each spice. Even the poppadum's taste better than I have ever had in NZ. From what I have eaten, every time everything has been cooked well without being over or under done. All of this done by very, friendly happy people! Try one of the deserts, just delicious! <br/> I genuinely, highly recommend this place, 10 out of 5 stars.

Cannot fault this place, the food is delicious and as about the most authentic tasting as I have had in NZ. Not sickly sweet like most other places, plenty of meat in sauce, spices different for each dish.<br/>Service exceptionally friendly with attention to detail.<br/>Menu contains many dishes I have never found at other Indian takeaways.<br/><br/>We will be back.

Best Indian food in town.<br/>Amazing currys, fast service and the staff are always lovely! Great prices all over the many. I've loved every curry I've tried. Also an added bonus that they have loyalty cards and free delivery. Defiantly a 5 out of 5!
